This was the best rental I have ever stayed in. The beds were extremely comfortable, I felt like I was sleeping at home. The place was very clean, decorated nicely and has updated/upscale furnishings.
The rental is right on the beach and we were able to view dolphins from the balcony several days of our trip. The location is convenient to shops and restaurants.
The only downside is the second bedroom has a window that faces the entrance to the units and a few nights we has loud neighbors late in the evening which was a nuisance.
I would also recommend painting the exterior door to the unit as it is pretty scuffed up and gives a poor impression. We were a bit worried about what the unit would look like when we saw the door. We were pleasantly surprised however once we entered. It would also help to have a light near the keypad, as even during the day, it was sometimes hard to see the numbers on the keypad since it is a bit dark at the end of the hall.
Overall, this was a great find and I would definitely book this rental again when visiting Gulf Shores.

Overall, great stay! Property manager was very responsive. Although this has nothing to do with the actual property, we were disappointed to smell marijuana multiple times. Very nice condo with a great view! Elevators were nice. Short walk to the beach with my two littles. My littles enjoyed the 1 foot kiddie pool, as well.

The condo was very nicely decorated and clean. The Gulf view from the balcony and master bedroom was amazing. This condo is located very close to the beach and very convenient.

This is the 3rd year in a row we have stayed in this condo. It's always beautiful, clean, and a great location. Debbie and Rodney are always so accommodating for our family, and we will continue to stay in their condo every year.

I recently stayed with my husband and 3 adult daughters.
We had plenty of space, everyone was comfortable, and it was right on the beach. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony reading and listening to the waves! The condo was very clean and updated. Extremely close to all kinds of restaurants and shopping. I will definitely keep this listing for the future. The owners were very communicative and accommodating. It was an absolute pleasure!

I want to give a big thank you to the Host of our condo for allowing g me to keep my fur baby with us after the booked boarding place refused him on account of they were scared of him. He is not vicious just big and attached to me, my protector. I thought I was going to have to drive the 5 hours back home or sleep in my car which I did the first night with him in the storm. Thank you again!!!! I didn’t get to spend time on beach cause I stayed with him but rest of my family did. Well 3 of us, my husband was not able to come.

My husband and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary and stayed in this lovely condo. It was just as pictured on the website and it was super clean and well decorated.
We hope we can get this same condo next year.

This was our second stay at Island Winds West. The condo is beautiful, comfortable, and clean! Our hosts were very friendly and easy to get in touch with. You can’t beat the balcony view of the ocean. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay. Rodney reached out apologizing for some minor things we hadn’t even noticed. He was very friendly, informative and offered 24/7 assistance if needed.

This unit was terrific! It had beach toys, an ocean view, new furniture, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The mattresses were the most comfortable I think I've ever slept on! And the bedding was wonderful, too. Fabulous unit for a family.

First time to Gulf Shores, AL and loved this condo. Excellent communication with owner, very clean, updated and had everything we needed. Loved how the beach was right out the door and fun places to eat and see was within walking distance.
We were in town with a softball tournament and my teens both loved the property from the beach to the pool!
We would easily consider this property again for a future visit to Gulf Shores!!! 5-stars!!!

Excellent rental. Very clean. Awesome location. We actually parked the car the day we arrived and didn't get in it again until the day we checked out. Was able to walk to everything we wanted to do. The host we're also super responsive. Will be back.

It was just like the pictures, very clean and modern, with everything you need. The beach was awesome, relaxing atmosphere. Close proximity to everything. We are already planning to come back and bring our family.

We realized after checking out we left one of our rental car keys in kitchen drawer. Housekeeping already departed & new guests checked in. Owner contacted them and made it possible for us to collect the key the next day. Thank you again Debbie for your diligence and help saving us from having to buy a new rental car
