The property was spacious and comfortable for 12 people. 8 adults, 4 kids ranging from 1 to 9. There were a few quirks to the unit such as having a hard time finding light switches, coffee maker not being cleaned, vacuum not having wheels on it. But the beds were comfortable, and it was a convenient location. The furniture was not the same as pictured, but we were satisfied with what we had. They even updated the outdoor furniture while we were there (and they notified us beforehand which we appreciated). We also liked the minimal decor and sturdy furniture (no breakable decor). I was glad we brought trash bags, hair dryers, paper towels, dish soap, and toilet paper. The Walmart is convenient for anything forgotten. There is a live band that plays each night; it was a joy to listen to and did not go late into the night. The bar/restaurant blocked some of the view, but we still got great shots of the sunset. The pool was wonderful and well kept. The staff on site was on top of the ball; they were very kind and helpful. They enforced rules such as arm bands, no drinks in pool, and kids out once and hour, but they were very kind about it and did not affect us enjoying the amenities.. There was a coffee/corner market directly below the unit. It was an easy walk to the beach. It felt secluded, but was close to everything. The food at the hotel bar was great. In all, we were happy with our 4 day stay, and we would consider staying with this management group again.

Very nice place. The door to balcony was very hard to open but maintenance came the last day and fixed. The AC quit working as well but was fixed within 24 hours. The room with the queen bed is super tiny. Unable to walk on either side of bed so you have to crawl from the bottom of the bed to get in. No closet or dressers in this room. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The main sliding door out to the balcony was not usable because of so much dirt and sand in track which we cleaned ourselves so we could use the door. The balcony was full sand and the furniture needs to be replaced (very rusty).The refrigerator had to be cleaned before we were able to place our food in it. Not sure what they were doing in there from 9:00am till 4:00 ( not cleaning) or drying anything .

This condo was just what we needed for our family getaway. We walked in and everything was clean, nothing needed to be done. It was very spacious and their was plenty of room for my immediate family and in-laws. The 3 bathrooms definitely helped make things easy with bathing kiddos. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

The unit was completely misrepresented. The photos were old and in no way showed the actual condition of the condo. The living room furniture that was in the unit is old and broken down. Only the master suite had furniture other than beds and nightstands. Therefore, there was no place to put our clothes other than the linen closets. The sliding door to the balcony was so hard to open that it took two adults to open and close it. A maintenance man came and worked on it but he said he couldn’t do much for it. When we got to the unit it was filthy. We had to call to have it cleaned. There was sand everywhere, floors, couches, everywhere. The kitchen was sparsely outfitted and the ice maker was frozen up. But we fixed that problem. We loved the location of the unit, and once it was cleaned we felt much better about it.

We found roaches in our bathroom, 2 shelves missing out of the refrigerator and also our dryer sounded like it was going to take off. We arrived Saturday and I reported this the same day I was told maintenance would come out. Three days later they showed up and addressed the issue with the dryer and the vent being too close to it causing the noise. The rules at the pool are almost at the point of ridiculous no toys at all, only inflatable for small children no jumping at all or anything. Security was on site 100% at the pool but it took 3 days for any of my issues of where I stayed in my condo to get fixed. This will be my last stay at The Boardwalk,

Not as clean as I expected

We found 3 cockroaches and reported to property management and they were responsive in saying they would have it addressed no one came and upon second email they never responded. Bathrooms were dirty when we arrived. Pool made the kids get out the last 10 minutes of every hour and didn’t allow them to have any pool tools. Property isn’t very kid friendly. The kids play area water was freezing cold. Security guards were very nice and friendly! Location was great when trying to find places to eat or entertainment.

Day 2 when my husband was using the master bathroom toilet he said something was wrong with it. We called maintenance immediately. The guy came and said “I have fixed it for now but I’ll be back to replace the guts” 2 days later that toilet was gushing out water through the entire unit. They came in, looked around and said they would be sending someone to clean it up! They left the mess, not even putting towels down leaving US to clean it. It is terrible trying to get ahold of someone! No one wants to speak to you and they say they will call back and leave us hanging for HOURS!

We had a good stay at the Boardwalk Beach Resort as usual. However, the property/unit that we stayed at had a few issues that we tried to get resolved while we were there, but no responses from local maintenance or ECDI on these items were received. The drains in the two guest bathroom showers were slow to drain and the microwave over the stove would not work properly and even wamr up food or coffee.

Our room at needed a remodel handles were missing on the shower door, outlets not working, lamps didn’t have bulbs plumbing issues and there was several hair balls on the floor, the bedding covers need washed

For what I paid it wasn’t a huge deal. The furniture in the living room isn’t the same as the photos. It has 2 very old leather sofas that were extremely uncomfortable. The refrigerator only works intermittently, it will cool/freeze for a few hours then every will completely thaw , then it freezes again . When it stops working all the ice melts and water runs all over the floor . The kitchen faucet needs to be replaced as it won’t run hot water . Overall, the units just need to be updated as it has a good bit of wear through. This is the 2nd year in a row that we have booked through ECDI and we will likely book through them again next year , just not this unit unless it gets updated.We really enjoyed the resort. Great location, very nice beach area , and the Tiki bar had good food and drinks . Overall we had a fantastic time and enjoyed our stay . For what we paid for the week it wasn’t horrible and when we contacted ECDI about a few issues after arriving they quickly replied and sent someone out that took care of the inoperable TVs and a molded shower curtain. The lady we spoke with was very pleasant and helpful. If you can rent this unit for a reasonable price it’s probably worth it , otherwise I’d suggest renting one of their more updated units .

The resort is great. The room was nice but a few suggestions for you. The living room furniture needs to be replaced with sturdy furniture. The furniture was not the same as in the listing. The dining room chairs need to have the bolts tightened as one almost fell when I moved it. The water and ice in the refrigerator door do not work. I bought ice trays and left them for the next visitors. The master beds are very high. I would mention that in the listing. The washer needs to be cleaned from build up. The garage disposal does not work. I really enjoyed the condo and suggest making these changes.

This was our 4th year staying at the Boardwalk and always enjoy it. This condo met all our needs and the owner was very attentive when I contacted her. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The property overall was fine. We were just disappointed in some things. The beach was beautiful. The restaurant/ bar was great for lunches with amazing staff. It was nice that the condo was on a lower level for if/when you needed to take the stairs. Things I wish we had known - Kids 12 and under are required to get out of the pools (including splash pad) for the last 10 minutes of EVERY hour. Every morning we were woke up from the sound of the trash truck right outside the window. Negatives - 1. Hundreds of dollars of groceries to last the family all week were destroyed in the refrigerator that did not work. They were unsympathetic and would not compensate our loss. 2. If we had not lost our groceries and wanted to cook there were no good pots or pans to do so. They were all in bad condition. 3. The room with the full size bed that has the window to the walkway, has a bright light that is on at night right outside the window. So the room was like it had a light on the whole time. There were no blinds just light curtains that did nothing to block the light out. So if you have light sensitivity while sleeping that room is not for you. 4. The shower curtain had mold on it. The washer was full of mold and a vile smell. The bed sheets were still damp the first night. The dryer was full of sand, not cleaned out at all. Overall it could have been cleaned much better.

Over all nice stay every thing seemed clean enough except for the floors they were sandy and our bare feet were black. The The second floor was very convenient for the stairs right beside the room to get up and down but the building In front of the condo was a little noisy because of the air conditioning unit and it did obstruct the view of the ocean a bit not a dealbreaker though. I do suggest bringing crockpots and some cutlery because they were a little bear with those items. There was some loose fixtures in the adjacent condo bathroom in front of the building but nothing too bad . The condo is very roomy had a very nice set up beds were comfortable The outside accommodations were very nice it was a beautiful facility . We stayed here years ago in a different condo and I will still have to give it a thumbs up

We loved the location but were really disappointed in the kitchen supplies. When we arrived on Saturday there was only three spoons, one knife, shoddy pans, no blankets and no broom and the ice maker didn’t work either. I sent a message on Sunday to management that was addressed on Wednesday. A gentleman named Chris came and looked over everything, and within a couple hours came back with all new silverware, pots and pans, blankets and a broom. They were all of good quality too. So my complaint in the end would just be they were slow to respond. We were close to everything and on a quieter street than the main one, Front Beach Road so that was great. Loved the Tiki Bar and Grill right on the property!

The GOOD: Nice furniture in master and throughout Pool and hot tub are nice Parking is easy Spacious and plenty of room for our group of 8 Elevators were quick and not much waiting On-site staff was super nice Quick walk to the beach Balcony is spacious Everything has been recently updated/painted and looks very nice The BAD: This is the WORST appointed condo I have ever stayed in Literally only ONE spoon in the entire kitchen, although we bought a few pieces of silverware and left them There is NOTHING “extra”…ZERO. No salt and pepper. No dishwasher tabs to get you started. One dish cloth Hardly any towels or wash cloths for the bathrooms. Don’t hope there will be any sand toys or beach chairs in the closet because there are NOT (although we left sand toys in the closet today) No extra blankets. What you get is a bedspread and THAT’S IT. The master bedroom bed is very pretty, but the footboard has column designs at the end that stick way out so prepare to have some nasty bruises You’re on the 2nd floor, which normally I thought would be fine; however, YOU ARE RIGHT AT/ABOVE THE TIKI BAR. It obscures half of your view, and they have horrible bands on the weekends. The band is so loud, you can’t hear the ocean and you need to keep the doors closed, unless you enjoy hearing what sounds like bad karaoke. When the bad is NOT playing, you still can’t hear the ocean over the sound of the HVAC system on the tiki bar. The condo was generally “clean” as long as you don’t look too closely. If you walk barefoot on the laminate flooring (which looks pretty and doesn’t show dirt) the bottoms of your feet will be as black as if you walked through a parking lot. The ice maker doesn’t work If you enjoy rock hard pillows, you’re in luck. The Takeaway: Bring your own pillows and if you plan to cook - or even EAT - in this condo, be prepared to bring everything you might possibly need, or go buy it, but there is a high likelihood they won’t have it. For the price, I expected a much better experience, and would NOT have rented this condo if I knew it was literally right above, and obscured by, the tiki bar. I realize these things probably seem silly to most, but we rarely have the opportunity to go on vacation and when we do, I would like our stay to be nice, and get what we pay for. I also would’ve liked know these things prior to renting this unit, because that would’ve influenced my decision.

The condo unit is quite spacious. The view from the main balcony is gorgeous. The common areas need a bit more attention. One of the hot tubs was broken most of the time that we were there. We had a broken cable box in the living room which was never fixed or replaced during the month that we were there. And, no one responded to our inquiry about when it would be fixed. The one true drawback of the furnishings is the lack of dressers in thee of the four bedrooms. For two of those rooms, the linen closet can easily double as a dresser. However, the fourth bedroom is very small (barely big enough for the bed) and doesn't have a closet either. Our guest in that room had to share our dresser. That same bedroom contained a television that had no signal, so couldn't be watched. Overall, well worth the rental fee paid, despite the few inconveniences. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Pool and hot tubs out of service for repair, beach closed for 3 days for beach restoration project. No access to fitness equipment. Contact made but no concern of our disappointment displayed. This was our family Thanksgiving, we had a total of 3 condos, all 4 bedroom. We made the beat of it but a great portion of negative satisfaction due to interruption of amenities.

The condo was very dirty. Sand and dirt everywhere. The showers still had hair in them when we arrived. The refrigerator was not working and when management was contacted they informed us that they don’t work on weekends and we would have to get coolers and ice until Monday. They did need up bringing a small fridge but placed it in the living room of the condo. Once the big refrigerator was fixed they never picked up the small fridge. The furniture in the unit was completely different than what was pictured on the vrbo site. Overall a very disappointing trip. The pool had ridiculous rules for kids and they weren’t allowed to even splash without the security yelling at them. The area of the condo was excellent just wish the condo was actually as described.

The location is great and with the adjoining condo, there was plenty of room. There was an issue with the sink in the master bedroom but it was fixed immediately. It could have been cleaner; the walls and the baseboards needed cleaning but overall it was nice. I wish there would have been a vacuum cleaner for the area rug but we managed with a broom. The balcony was great, especially with the adjoining condo there was plenty of room for the whole family. I would recommend this place.

We had no AC for three days; the AC unit was filthy and looked as if it had never had routine maintenance- the filter disintegrated. Insufficient number of towels; 2 unsafe chairs, non working remote control, burnt out light bulbs… When AC went out we had to tolerate a flood in the hallway that kept one of us in the condo at all times because they didn’t see to care. I have asked for some sort of refund and to speak with a manager with no success. Rebecca at the ECDI actually hung up on me when I asked for a resolution.

It all started at the guard house. When we pulled up we were greeted and welcomed with a smile. And every moment after that we did not have any issues. It was a very enjoyable stay. Place was clean. Beach area was not crowded at all. Pool was nice and not over crowded either. Will definitely be back and hopefully it will be as good as this time. Thanks for a great time. Can’t wait to get back.
