What an amazing find. The best part of visiting Summerville was the B&B. The house is impeccable. Loved the home. Maintained it's heritage. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. Bed was very good. The owner is wonderful and very friendly. She was such a nice person to talk to. The breakfast which was a French pancake was delicious. Ate at Oscars in town which was very good. I would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the area. I can't say enough about what a great place this was. You will love the home and outdoor space. Great backyard. porch and back porch were wonderful. Gardens were awesome. They had more cottage like rentals in the back that looked like great fun. Awesome job

The Flowertown B&B was so charming. As a constant traveler, it was one of the nicest B&Bs I have visited. The proprietors were hospitable and the breakfasts were delicious. Right off the Main Street, it was convenient for our girls week around Charleston and Savannah. We stayed in the room with a queen bed and daybed and it was comfortable and spacious. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again and again.

Breakfast is FANTASTIC and the owner is a pure angel. This is a hidden gem and I hope that it stays this way so that I can continue to book stays before it gets over crowded.

Even parking and glimpses of the quaint beauty of the building itself were but an introduction. Upon the entrance it was impossible not to notice an age old elegance. Which only continued. The room was draped in loveliness. Beyond comfortable. The best sleep in quite a long time.

This place is like a trip to the 19th century (except with modern plumbing, internet, TV and air conditioning!) The rooms are full of delightful antiques. The garden is especially lovely - flawless without being fussy - amazing! Breakfast was delicious, the staff was wonderful.
Most of the beautiful chairs in our room were rather low and seemed to have been made for smaller people. Also there is no desk in the room where one can sit and write or use a laptop. And then there's the 22 step staircase, oh my Lord! Arthritic old ladies like me, be warned! I expected some stairs, but this is a real challenge.

Lovely garden to explore, lovely porch and chairs to sit in and rock, fresh water in the fridge, beautiful restored property and delicious & generous breakfast. Great location for quick drive to the airport.
The bed had a quite thick, very soft foam mattress atop the regular mattress in our room. One sank into it and it was hot, sticky and smelled.
Situated on a very busy road with quite some noisy traffic.

Breakfast was delicious and I’d love the bread pudding recipe. It was also a treat to know the stories behind some of the antiques. The garden has many comfy nooks to retreat to for a bit of peace. Close convenient walk to quaint downtown Summerville.

On our arrival, room we had reserved had not been cleaned for new occupants--we were given a different room, but this required another room change for the final night. Fresh towels and washcloths were not routinely provided until we asked for them (owner admitted she should have notified us that her B&B policy did not include daily room cleaning or fresh towels--these have been routine services at the several B&Bs we have stayed at in Charleston, and Asheville, NC.) Final morning's breakfast service had been set out and prepared for 6 guests, when a total of 8 guests were present. The building, rooms, garden area, and furnishings were pleasant, maintaining the Victorian appearance throughout.
See above comments regarding room availability, apparent miscommunication to staff regarding need for preparing room for new occupants, or number of guests for whom breakfast should be prepared, and need to request clean towels for each day (the owner asked me if I had ever stayed in a B&B prior to this one, because of my expectation for fresh towels--I answered that I had always received fresh towels, routinely, during at least 9 stays at 5 different B&Bs, and therefore did not realize this facility had a different policy)
