Realmente disfrutamos de la calle principal con sus tiendas exclusivas y restaurantes. Sobre todo después de un largo día de senderismo, ciclismo, remo o simplemente dando vueltas con buenos amigos y familiares. Nos gustaría que nuestros huéspedes y visitantes a compartir en esta experiencia en cualquier época del año.

Took my three boys ages 8-14 and their grandmother for the Summit lacrosse tournament. Location was great. Place was clean and weather was mild so no AC wasn't an issue. Boys loved the loft. My oldest slept up there. The night we arrived and the entire next day it rained and thunderstormed. The property didn't have a smart TV but there was a wii so boys played wii sports all weekend.

Very happy with our experience. Family of four with two young children. Booked it for IMLP and it was only a few blocks to walk to the oval. Home had everything you would need along with being clean and well stocked. Had a problem with the drain in the bathroom and it was quickly fixed! Communication was outstanding and quick to respond. If I come back to Lake Placid i would not hesitate to book again. Definitely one of our better experiences. Thank you!!!

We really enjoyed staying here. The listing was very accurate. My family of 6 felt very at home. It had everything that we needed to relax and to continue on our road trip. The location was great and very accessible to town. The ladder was a little tricky, but my kids only needed to go up/down a couple times a day. We would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect place for my family of four! We were just a short walk to Main Street and the rinks (the main reason for our stay). The kids loved the loft - it was their little hideaway. We were there during one of the coldest weekends with -27 degree temps but we wouldn't have known because the house was toasty.
Our host was very quick to respond with any questions, especially when I accidentally locked myself out! Sorry about that!
We loved our time in Lake Placid and would absolutely stay here again.

Great Cottage and Better Location
The Ohana Cottage was an amazing place to stay. The house was beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. My children loved the loft with its library ladder. Even better was the convince to town, being less than a half mile from the Olympic Center. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Perfect location!
This house is perfect for kids and teenagers. The loft has enough room for 3-4 people to sleep and it’s really cool for them because of the ladder they can easily climb up. My boys are 7 and 9- they built a fort up there and enjoyed the space. The house was clean and in a perfect location. Will definitely book here again!

Great place for a family vacation!
We really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and well maintained, with plenty of room for our 3 teenagers, my wife, and myself. It took us <20 minutes to walk to the far end of the Main Street stores, so we enjoyed the location as well. The access was laundry was key since we were in town for a baseball tournament. Great place for a family to stay!

This space was perfect for me, my wife, and two kids. My oldest especially loved the loft he could have to himself. Within walking distance to stores and beach.

Beautiful interior!!!
We were very impressed with the upkeep, cleanliness, and decor of the inside of this rental!! My teen boys thought the library ladder was cool and argued over who got to sleep up there. Everything was very organized and clean, and very well appointed with sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, paper supplies, utensils, dishes, cookware, condiments, etc.
We loved that it was within walking distance of downtown LP (half mile) so we didn't have to pay for parking downtown, we only wish we hadn't gotten caught in the rain every evening we went down there. lol
Only a couple drawbacks:
-no AC (wasn't an issue for us since the owners had aired it out prior to our arrival and it was pretty cool during our stay)
-check in time was later than advertised, and check out time was earlier than advertised, so be sure to verify before making your travel plans
-we were asked to strip the beds and empty the trash even though we paid a cleaning fee

Perfectly Located
We were happy to find that the place looked exactly as pictured, and our family of four was very comfortable and had room to stretch out. It was only a 10 minute walk (tops) to Main Street, Lake Placid, which was key for us on such a short stay (two nights). Our only complaint was that we brought a bunch of DVD's knowing we might get bad weather, only to find that there isn't really a DVD player. (The owner told us the wii could be used to play DVD's, but we could not get that to work, and the internet suggests that it's not actually possible.) Despite that, we had a nice stay and would recommend the place to others.

Best VRBO yet
This property was top notch. I was very happy with this cottage. The house is fully stocked with all that you need. Washer/dryer, utensils, plates, cups, cooking supplies and my favorite was the plentiful supply of towels in the bathroom! The pictures are very accurate depiction of the place. It was big enough for the 4 of us to have our own space. The wifi was spotty and we couldn't figure out how to watch television but my son was able to setup his gaming systems. The owner was extremely easy to work with and when an issue arose he responded immediately. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your cottage.

Darrin’s place is clean, comfortable and excellently located within walking distance of town. WiFi is very good and we also appreciated the selection of coffees in the morning! This would be a great home base if visiting the town with one or more couples. Laundry machine is available for use and everything was very clean. We hope to return again.

Our family of four loved this quaint place that still had space enough for all of us! Our 14 year old son loved the loft and our 12 year old daughter enjoyed her own room as well. We definitely plan to come back again!

Summer Heat Escape
The cottage was perfect for what we were looking for in our first vacation to Lake Placid. Super Clean and as advertised. Darrin the owner was super nice and easy to get in touch with. Would definitely recommend this place to future guests. Short walk into town if you don't mind a little exercise. It was great to escape the heat wave near NYC and get to LP. Will definitely be going back next summer. Only regret was not staying longer.

Great place with a warm and cozy vibe
This is just as it looks in the picture. It has a lovely welcoming feel, and lots of sleeping space. The loft stairs are definitely for agile people and the 2 younger members of our group loved it up there. The other rooms are very comfortable. Nice that there was a wii, full laundry, and lovely cross breezes when the windows are open.

Lake placid cottage
Great location for fair price. Close to everything, yet a little removed from Main Street to afford a little quiet. Home is fully stocked and adequately appointed. Could be a cleaned with more detail and door security would be an improvement, although the location seemed fine- just for peace of mind. Thanks for a great stay. Would book again if available next time.
