House was just across from beach access. Kitchen well stocked and nice to have two fridges and two stoves. The only down side was the TV in living is to far up, you have to sit with head tilted back to watch and the bunk beds in with the main beds. which give very little room to move around. The main thing is we had fun with the family

Everything was fine, was surprised we had to strip the bed's and sweep the house. When we do have to pay a cleaning fee.

This wasn’t a awful property, but it definitely needs remodeling and repairs!! Proximity to the beach was good. Keyless entry made for easy check in and check out was easy as well.

We had a great time- the house accommodated 5 families nicely. Kitchen is well stocked and all porches ( there are 6!) had very comfortable furniture. The access to the beach is right across the street. The lower level bathrooms were small but it was nice to have 6 bathrooms. We’d rent again.

We had a great time at the OBX while staying at "Sea Biscuit". It is located near a lot of activities and the beach in the southern part of Nags Head, NC. The home has plenty of room for our family to stay and prepare a meal to eat together in the large dining area.

We were very impressed with the large eating area, multiple kitchens, decks, and the location. The view out back is nice and there is an ocean view out front.

Pros: Great price Great location Very well stocked kitchen. Loved all the pot sizes, plates, silverware, etc. Cups is only thing short on stock Elevator was great for some of our family that struggled with stairs Amenity package being included Overall, the house served our family well. Cons: I understand sweeping a beach house is a bit like trying to sweep the beach itself...I expect sand. However, under the beds we found a bit of trash (Ex., an open juice bottle that thankfully didn't have bugs yet). Outside of floors, everything else was cleaned well. The king size bed on the 3rd floor really needs a new mattress. My in-laws have been married 51 years, but still didn't appreciate rolling into each other all night. The doors...The 3rd floor front door will not stay closed unless the dead bolt is latched. This was problematic for the folks that stayed on the ground floor and needed the elevator. If they were the first up, they had to wait until someone else was up before they could come upstairs. We didn't realize the door didn't latch well and left the deadbolt unlocked on the first night (my wife woke up in the middle of the night to find the door wide open). The door handle on the backdoor (3rd floor) fell off a few times. Also, a number of the door handles inside the house could use someone with about 30 minutes and a screwdriver to tighten them up. The house is loud...not much can be done about it, but anyone walking around can be heard throughout the house. My kids went to bed before the adults and any conversation on the 3rd floor can be heard in the bedrooms on the 2nd floor like they are in the room with them. The dual shower heads were nice and I especially appreciated them for showering my kids, but some of our vertically challenged family could not reach them to switch them to the main shower head or direct the shower head in.a better direction. Not a huge deal, and easily remedied after the 1st shower, but something to be aware of when you rent this home. Things you need to bring: Dishwasher pods. 3 were provided on the top floor, and 3 on the bottom...so we had enough, but had we been there one more day, we would have needed more. Coffee filters - we bought some and left our extra, but I don't know if they can stay in the kitchen with cleaning procedures. Cups - not a lot of cups stocked, we needed more for our group of 8...if the house was at capacity, there would definitely not be enough.

The house was a little dated on the interior with strangely small TVs throughout but the location and size was great and hard to beat at this price. Overall we had a great time at this property.

Sea Biscuit was very clean. NO bugs! Us 8 ladies had a great quilt retreat!

Family and friends here for my brothers wedding. Great stay. Great location!! Just understand the house is on the older side. Doors don’t close unless you do a back flip and say a pray. We were also told the kitchen was going to be updated but that being said we did want for anything. Plenty of room and enough beds. Bathroom showers are not made for sharing. But all and all great stay!!!

Great location and the house was amazing!

I stayed at Sea Biscuit with all of my kids and grandkids last month. We had a great time there. The pool was clean and nice sized. The kids played games, watched movies, and ate popcorn in the theater room. The walk to the beach was short and easy. There was lots of parking for the various families arriving from different locations. The check-in process was easy and timely. There was plenty of seating for all 24 of us in the dining area. The elevator made light work of getting everything hauled in and out. There was only one hitch, which was a discrepancy in the listing regarding which rooms had bunk beds. That was quickly and satisfactorily resolved through messaging before we arrived. We cooked a lot of meals and had everything that we needed at hand. I had read some reviews about upgrades that are coming. They will serve to make a good thing better. For our purposes, it was a great place to stay, and I have no reservation in recommending it to others. And as a final note - I left a laptop behind, and was on the road a few hours away when I got a call that it had been found in the house. It was sent and back in my possession before it was even missed! We would definitely stay there again.

I have been renting homes in the OBX every summer for about 30 years. This is the first time I was inviting a very large group where a home of this size was needed. I generally rent a 4 bedroom unit that is in KDH for about 1/5 of the price. It is also one block from the beach but the quality of the homes doesn't even compare. I realize that rental homes take a lot of abuse but this home is very dated for the price. The initial impression of the property is set when you enter the front door - it is rusted badly and in dire need of replacement or at least some fresh paint. The front porch is covered with flies (not a few - but thousands). Inside the house, it is functional and is as described in the listing however the entire house screams of being dated. The paneling is old and the kitchen cabinets are in need of an update. The pool deck is a mixture of gravel and concrete (not sure why) surrounded by a privacy fence that is moldy and in need of paint. The bathroom showers are TINY - we are not big or tall people by any stretch of the imagination but the showers are so small it is actually uncomfortable. The grout and walls around the tub in the master suite are "nasty" and moldy. With all of that being said, the home is large enough for big groups and does provide plenty of rooms for renters with multiple families under the same roof. The location is excellent and even though the pool deck isn't great, the pool is fairly large and welcoming. The pool table is quirky and "keeps" the balls from time to time. Also not sure why? The technology is decent - good wireless signal throughout most of the home and televisions in every room, The elevator is a bit sketchy - had one person get stuck inside for about 20 minutes - the phone and the alarm don't work.

A little dissatisfied with the wifi, movies kept buffering. 3rd floor bathroom needed wall repaired. Called property manager for pest control and did not receive a call back. Some updating still needs to be done. Theater room was great.

Sea Biscuit really did have it all! And the staff who assisted us were wonderful!

Our group of 15 ranging in age from 2 - 72 spent a wonderful week in Sea Biscuit. The house was clean and well equipped for all our cooking and eating needs. We had plenty of room to spread out as well as to come together. There was great beach access right across the street and the salt water pool provided a break from the sand. I found the managers to be quickly responsive any time I contacted them, whether it was with a question or when we had a slight problem locating the balls for the pool table. I would definitely rent this house again and would recommend it to friends.

Property manager was great to work with and had excellent response time. Property is exactly as pictured. It’s nothing fancy, but great location to beach and town.

Very pleasant stay house had more enough room, beds comfortable, kitchen stocked,movie a great hit with grandkids,including popcorn machine,pool table great for adults although a little tight areas on some shots,easy access to beach,the foundation for great time. Can't say enough about the 2 lady's from rentals on the ocean ,Ronnie and Ashley they where helpful and understanding in any concerns I inquired about and just good people to talk to. I thank them both. Value for rental was right on. Will repeat in future visit.

Property was as advertised. Very spacious and clean. Management company was very responsive. Love the area and the beach.

The house had just about everything you could ask for. Public access to the beach right across the street. Just off the main strip but close enough to be a short drive to anything.

This was the perfect property for lots of guests. There were several bunk beds and fun places for the kids. I wish there had been at least one roll of paper in the bathrooms to start out though. Very frustrating coming in from out of town with 3 kids and expecting to be able to use the restroom but had to go buy toilet paper first. Otherwise, fun stay.

Everything was very clean and you could see updates were being made.

I was beyond pleased with our stay! Although the cottage itself could use some upgrades with like doors and ceiling stains it fit our needs perfectly! The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed to make our dinners. (You don’t find that too often!) The beds were so comfortable! Everyone raved about how great the were. The hot water was so nice beings we had 12 women taking showers! We enjoyed a movie night in the theater room and upstairs. View of the ocean was wonderful! I will definitely be renting this one again!

Property was in just as advertised. Updated appliances. Great communication with the management company.

Close to the beach and nice property

The beach itself was amazing but the property left a lot to be desired. The kitchen had an ant infestation, the porch had a bees nest, only one back door to the pool worked properly. We didn’t have wifi or cable for multiple days. It was very frustrating for people trying to do work.

Enjoyed our time here.
