La espaciosa casa de tres dormitorios / 2 baños cuenta con techos abovedados de pino nudoso, una terraza envolvente y muchas ventanas para disfrutar del aire libre. Construido a medida en 2010, esta casa incluye revestimiento de cedro, construcción / ventanas / electrodomésticos de bajo consumo, pisos de madera y habitaciones alfombradas. Gran salón grande al lado de la cocina abierta y el comedor. Dos amplias habitaciones, un baño completo y cuarto de lavado en la planta baja. If you need to get away and want peace, animals, and clean beautiful mountain mornings then Gary's place is it. It was just my wife and I but this place can fit 2 families.

We had a wonderful time , the cabin is beautiful and in a quiet location .. off the regular path. It’s relaxing and enjoyable ! Excellent kitchen and room for our family. We drove into Sonora, Twain Heart, Pincrest Lake, had dinner at Mia’s and my brother went fishing . We saw many deer and my brother went fishing .

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautiful and comfortable house for our snow trip with the family. We took the the kids up to a SNOpark up highway 108. The house was spacious, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. The host was very helpful, ensuring we had a smooth check-in and even followed up with us during our stay to ensure everything was going well. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We had a great time. The house is very well stocked.
Gary is very responsive and the neighbor was very helpful to us when we needed a bit of help getting up driveway. All and all great experience. Only thing that I would say was not great is the driveway! Check weather and park up top if rainy or snowy conditions. Also back into driveway. We lost power due to storm so generator should be more accessible in emergency. Owner was very appreciative of our feedback. Must be absolutely beautiful in summertime cause it was beautiful in the snow!

We had a lovely little vacation in this very comfortable, well-appointed house overlooking a beautiful creek. We were lucky enough to get snow which was a delight to watch from our cozy warm space. We cooked some great meals and wanted for nothing. Highly recommended - hope we can go again in future.

Wonderful home with great communication from owners. Beautiful scenery right outside the big windows and awesome wood stove to stay warm. Plenty of room for two families (8 people). Easy drive to Yosemite and Big Trees filled with all the needed amenities. Would stay again!

We loved our stay. Perfect for our girls weekend with plenty of room for all 8 of us. So cozy and lovely to watch the rain out the big windows. We took quick trip into town for boba and snacks than wanted to get back to our relaxing retreat. We will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a private getaway nearby many activities in the area then this is the place for you. The cabin was more beautiful in person and everything was top notch from communication with the hosts to the tiniest details. It was very clean, comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen and host who went out of their way to create the best guest experience. Great linens, comfy beds, stream nearby, wildlife galore and great instructions for using the fireplace, hot tub and jacuzzi. Beautiful home and a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

My friend and I LOVED staying here. We made great memories and got much-needed refreshment by being in nature from the busy day to day. Gary's place had everything you needed to stay comfortable. I also really loved the trail by the water behind his house! I recommend everyone to walk through it! My husband and I enjoyed seeing some deer roam through; it was quiet and beautiful. All my friends got to explore the friendly little town of Twain Harte and we all said that we would come back again!

The cabin is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space surrounding the property and it backs into a creek so it's very private. There are plenty of space for a family of 4. Very clean, organized and well-stocked, if you love to cook, you will find everything you need in the kitchen. We only stayed for the weekend but plan to stay longer next time. Gary is a fabulous host and very responsive. Highly recommend this place.

We have now stayed at this home two times and just love it. The amenities are amazing and the layout of the home is fantastic for large groups with kids. The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet. Lots of wildlife to see. The owners are very easy and great to deal with. They check in multiple times just to make sure your stay is going great. They answer any and all questions within minutes. Will definitely stay at this home again!

My children and I really enjoyed our time at this lovely, well-equipped home. It was exactly as pictured and even more spectacular of a setting in person. We loved the wood-burning fireplace, hot tub, jacuzzi tub, and the holiday decorations were a lovely touch. We also enjoyed the board games and the many streaming options.
We had a nice walk along the aqueduct. We sledded one day at the Sno-Park and enjoyed nearby Pinecrest Lake.
Very relaxing and cozy stay. Fast communication with the hosts. Heads up for coffee lovers, bring your own, but the filters, makers and sugar are there for those who need it.

My wife and I were there for a fishing trip. This place is really on an ideal location for fishing!! We caught many trouts at the creek just below the house.
We will look forward to booking this place in the near future.

Great for Multiple Families
Everyone had a comfortable room: two couples, a mom and child and a grandmother. Beautiful views and we loved walking along the aqua duct. The trees were beautiful and we enjoyed seeing the deer. The kitchen was well equipped and the space was attractive, comfortable and well organized. Would recommend over shooting the drive way, then backing in, due to super sharp turn. We would book this house again and highly recommend it.

lovely cabin retreat
We were extremely delighted with Gary & Anne's cabin retreat in Sonora. We saw numerous deers and tons of squirrels. It was a great get away and very clean cabin. My kids demanded that I comment on how comfortable the beds were. We've stayed at other locations and the beds have been ok or terrible but not at this place. We slept like we were at home! One small issue with the hot tub that was corrected when we brought it to Gary and Anne's attention. Looking forward to another adventure here!

Short but nice trip
We spent a short weekend with a friends family at this cabin. It’s a very lovely home. We enjoyed everything in there. Excited to see the deers on the road and creek nearby. The host Gary was so nice n sweet to remind me on the instruction and direction to his cabin. We would stay again if we are going to ski next time.

Cabin Retreat
My family and I spent a weekend at the cabin, and everything came as advertised. The cabin has all of the conveniences and amenities listed. Beautiful view of the forest and creek. Very quiet. We spent Saturday at Leland Snow Play, just passed Pinecrest, and later explored Twain Harte and Sonora. Gary was quick to respond and followed up once we arrived. Overall, I'd recommend the cabin.

Great Getaway in Relaxing Cabin
We loved our stay. The house was clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. We loved the view of the deck and enjoyed the walking trail along the creek. The kids loved seeing all the deer and loved sleeping in both the loft and the bunk beds. The driveway took some getting used to for us but we managed. Lot's to do, see and explore in the area. The owners were responsive and helpful. We hope to stay again someday!

Great new cabin
My friends and me stayed there on Christmas 2021. I was great experience with tons of snow. It's modern bright cabin with good forest views, good kitchen and friendly neighbors. I would like to return there again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
We enjoyed the cabin over a long snowy weekend. The property manager had a path down the driveway shoveled and wood ready for a fire when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed playing video games and board games and just looking outside through the big windows in the living room, cozy under blankets. We were able to drive up to a snow play area just past Strawberry for the day and had a great time sledding down the hills. Can’t wait to go back!

Great place
Great place to stay, there is so much wildlife to see just outside from the deck. A nice walking trail is also just right behind the house. Owners are very communicative as well. We will definitely be back in the future.
