La Cumberland River House (Permiso # CASR-201528745) está escondida en una tranquila calle frente al mar que está llena de historia, con varias famosas estrellas de la vieja escuela Opry que viven cerca. Estamos en una península privada formada por el poderoso río Cumberland en el frente, y un estanque de 5 acres detrás. Aquí es tranquilo y seguro. Hay muy poco tráfico de automóviles, por lo que es ideal para caminar. Vemos regularmente ciervos, gansos y pavos, y disfrutamos de la pesca en Cumberland y desde el muelle en el estanque administrado por TVA en la parte posterior. Es un barrio especial con gente amable. Sin embargo, está a solo minutos del famoso Gaylord Opryland Hotel, Opry Mills Mall y THE GRAND OLE OPRY. Dentro de 4 millas hay más de 2 docenas de restaurantes y el parque acuático más grande de Nashville. Hay una chimenea al aire libre en un patio cubierto justo al lado de la habitación de Florida que es perfecta para entretenerse o relajarse. Si te gusta cocinar, encontrarás una cocina bien equipada, con todas las ollas, sartenes y todos los pequeños electrodomésticos del hogar. Perfect for what we needed. Celebrated my daughter’s 21st bday. Plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone. The pool was an added bonus. Check in was effortless. We had everything we needed.

This house had the best bed in the master that I have ever slept on. We did have a couple of problems. When we plugged in a hair dryer in the upstairs bath the breaker flipped and there was no access to the garage to fix it, so we showered in the dark all weekend. Also the top step to the pool was broken and one of the guest fell in instead of stepping in.

The neighborhood was great! The size of the home was really good. Lots of space! The furniture was very old and uncomfortable. The beds were comfortable however. The kitchen was very old, the oven door wouldn’t close all the way. But, we made it work. It felt a bit like camping. (We love camping)
We made s’mores outside in the fireplace.
There were deer every afternoon, which was so cool!!!

The location of this house and the neighborhood it's located in can't be beat. In the middle of Nashville but very quiet with quiet neighbors. We felt very safe here and it was very peaceful. Unfortunately it rained quite a bit during our stay so we didn't get to spend much time enjoying the outdoor amenities.
The photos make the house look much brighter than it is. There's also dings and marks on the walls, especially upstairs in the game room. One of the comforters had several stains on it. One of the toilet paper holders was broken. You can tell this house has seen a lot of use.
The hosts were great to work with and very helpful. They were quick to respond to inquiries that we had.

We checked in Friday and left Sunday. This was a great space for our group to get ready before going out and the hot tub in the morning was perfect. Thanks for having us!

Few small issues but nothing bad. Great spacious well appointed home. Lots of wildlife seen daily, deer, turkeys, raccoons, groundhog. Front door opened with code but wouldn't lock with it, so we just went out the back door. If you want to fish it's down decking and climbing down side of mountain, but owner cannot control river dried up so if it rains a lot soon shouldn't be an issue. Close to everything, within 20 minutes mostly freeway drive.WE LOVED IT! Enjoyed the 3 decks immensely and would definitely stay again

This place does not represent themselves correctly. The photos are nothing like the property. The property is seriously neglected, filthy. The yard is like a junk yard. One of the toilets didn't flush. If the house was cleaned properly the cleaner would have had to flush after they cleaned the toilet realizing it was broken. The house had dead bugs, cobwebs, used band-aids in the shower, open food packages from previous renters, cans out side were filled with old cigarettes butts, webs and dirt on all the decks, not from a storm, floats that were not useable, the cover to the hot tub old and moldy, the steps to the river were missing steps. The pool has a leak. They did send the cleaner to clean the cobwebs....seriously.....it should had been done before we arrived. We had to clean the outside to use it. Shame on The River House.

My family (husband, 9 year old, 3 year old, my mother, and myself) stayed at this house in August of 2021 and absolutely loved it. There was plenty of room for all of us, and of course the kids had so much fun in the pool.
The house was very clean, and all the rooms were just as they looked in the pictures. Check in was easy, and communication with the owner was clear and prompt.
I took a walk one afternoon with my mom and 3 year old, and while there weren’t sidewalks, the street was very quiet and safe to walk along. The neighborhood was very peaceful, and felt very secluded even though you’re just a couple minutes from the highway and plenty of restaurants and stores.
My 9 year old already wants to go back this summer. I told her we could go to other cities, but she loved this place so much she wasn't interested. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Property was great. Nice quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable rooms. Only suggestion would be to have kitchen towels and dish cloths along with a couple of extra trash bags.. Would certainly stay here again on our next visit to Nashville.

We had a great time with our group of 9 celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday. The pool and hot tub were perfect for during the day or late night antics. I was worried our boisterous boys’ voices would get us in trouble with the Neighbor’s but happily we did not! We had groceries delivered using Shipt which worked great too. I thought the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was minimally supplied with not enough garbage bags or dishwasher detergent to last us just the 4 days we were there which was kind of a pain compared to some other places I have stayed in but it was nice they had beach towels and laundry with soap there to use. There was both an owner and a property manager - one day when we were eating breakfast one of our girls let the property manager in - she was there to check on the pool and she walked through the house to do so in the middle of all of us hungover eating breakfast- that seemed a little odd to me (especially that she walked through the house- especially with COViD at play) but they were both sure to smooth over any misunderstandings and were genuinely interested in making sure all was well. It was a little drive to downtown which was ok got this trip of bonding with friends, but I could see how it would be a detourant for some. We made some great memories!!!

We ventured out quite a bit but with all the entertainment happening Luke Bryan and Garth Brooks concerts traffic was a bit overwhelming. Preferred hanging out at the house swimming or having a fire. Very nice private and peaceful neighborhood. Owner's provide nearly everything you need, just bring the groceries.

Management was wonderful working with us when we were schedule in July 2020 during COVID. They allowed us to move our trip out to 2021. We loved it. Beautiful house with great amenities.

Was great home for a getaway. Pool was dirty, spent 1hour cleaning that when first arrived. Wasn’t a big deal for our group. House has everything you could need. Wasn’t far from downtown and in a quiet neighborhood. Suggestion though, toilets run unless you shake the handles on them. Door code was super hard , you had to do it really really fast, not sure if that was the way it’s set up, but seems like some people might have trouble like we did. Great place, over all, clean and well stocked!!! Lots of room for everyone!!!
