Our family of four generations loved our time at this cabin! It is so beautiful. It was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed all the games and the theater room. Communication with Sierra was great. Beautiful home. Great location. On the mountain but not so far that you can’t run to the store for something. Great layout. 2 upper bedrooms and loft area with pullout couch. 2 main floor bedrooms with stocked kitchen and plenty of living room seating. Lower level had 1 bedroom and a pullout couch in game room area. Theater room with new couches is also downstairs. Small kitchenette downstairs with bar area.
Manager was super fast to respond when I had questions. Some things I brought to her attention after we left that I’m sure will be resolved: upstairs freezer had a water line leak which has affected the floor under it, possible mold above 1 shower, jets didn’t work in 1 tub and the gas grill needs replaced. It is not safe for use. The downstairs freezer was left open and the fridge was definitely not wiped down by the cleaning staff.
One thing that is note worthy is that they ask you to connect your phone to the tv to stream anything because they only have dsl.
As a side note: I loved that the linens were nice. They weren’t the typical white, nasty reused linens you find in a lot of rentals.
I would absolutely rent this home again. It is by far our favorite we have rented since we started coming to the area 6 years ago.

The property was as described. It was easy to find and in the perfect location for going to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. My whole family was able to stay all together in the cabin with plenty of room for everyone. We all enjoyed having our own space but also big enough spaces for us to all be in one room. Property manager was quick to respond and get immediately get a plumber on site to fix a leaking faucet handle we noticed shortly after arriving. We definitely would stay here again

This is our 2nd time staying at the "Time Out" cabin. It works perfectly for our group of friends/family. We love that the bedrooms all have king beds and jacuzzis. The hot tub, movie theatre, game room, and large dining table are also a hit! The cabin is located in a great area to access both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back again! :)

Excitement until we entered the chalet, dust everywhere, ceiling fans, mantle, air vents. All Bathrooms had dead bugs on the floor and shower. The stove worked but is in bad shape when we cooked breakfast an dinner, smokes a lot. Electrical outlets by the stove did not work. Bathroom had no soap and 1 roll of toilet paper. Gas grill was disgusting and needed to be cleaned before we grilled. The dinning room chairs all had plastic on them and ripped to pieces. Brother in Law came downstairs barefooted and walked around the kitchen making breakfast, sat down with his feet up and his feet were black. Only 3 dishwashing tablets and only 3 kitchen garbage bags, only 2 kitchen towels.
This place has so much potential but as of today we would never rent this place or recommend it to any of our friends until I know improvements were made.
We love Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge and can’t wait to return. Please take this critique as it was meant, to help improve vacationers experience.

Some couples in our Marriage group take a yearly trip to get away and refresh and reflect on our marriage. The cabin’s layout was perfect because it had five master bedrooms. But the cabin wasn’t cleaned, we found mole, dishwasher dispenser broken, filter hadn’t been changed since January ( it was documented), shower curtain liners were ripped, rings around the toilet bowls, hot tub was damaged on the outside (busted cabinet looked like it had been smashed, could see wires but owner thought we’d take her word on it being safe), chair in theatre room broken, screen to back porch ripped! I texted the owner but she said everything wrong had to be reported in 24 hours. It hold her I should not have to go in and do a thorough inspection, the cabin should of been as the pictures were online. We rented in good faith that the cabin would be clean & no repairs needed. It was so much until we took pictures and sent to her. We paid her the asking rental price and had to deal with all the problems we encountered. She refused to do anything about our inconveniences and aggravation on the condition of this property. It was totally embarrassing for my husband and I. We go to the smoky mountains every year to retreat and have stayed in other locations but never have had any problems such as we encountered at cabin “Time Out”. Usually property owners try to make make up for their slackness by discounting but this lady didn’t seem to care about our vacation not being relaxing and enjoyable.

This was a very clean cabin, but unfortunately the amenities that were advertised were very sub par. After contacting them about the fridge that was broken all we were told is that there is one downstairs and the upstairs was going to be fixed. (This was not informed to us prior to arriving at the cabin). Downstairs fridge cannot support food and drinks for 10 people.
Communication on VRBO before check in dates was not great did not receive a reply.
Communication was obtained after check in through phone # in cabin.
Majority of remotes were missing batteries. Half of the lights in the cabin were burnt out. Dishwasher was not secured to the cabinets. Wi-Fi was throttled (could not stream) (should be included into the description.)
Golf machine did not work. Only 3 chairs at a poker table. Basketballs were mismatching and deflated. Theatre remotes were missing.
Overall very happy about the cleanliness of the cabin, but the amenities were disappointing.

The house I was big enough to accommodate our family. The refrigerator did it cool and we had to throw away several items. The owner did have someone to look at it but he was unable to repair it. One of the bathtubs upstairs h had dirt and mold coming out from the jets when used so it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The hot tub was usable but was dented on the outside. The games downstairs were nice to have but some didn’t work properly. There weren’t enough utensils for a large group . Overall the house was a good size for a large group but it needs a new refrigerator, games repair or replaced, purchase of utensils and hot tub upgrade.

Cabin was large, clean, nicely decorated and had a great layout. There were 7 women and we each had tons of space and privacy, but the living room was spacious enough for all of us too. Water pressure, water temp and internet were great for the mountain location. I was surprised it was in a development or neighborhood of cabins so there were a lot of people around and it is far from secluded. However, you couldn’t hear the other cabins if you were inside so it was no problem. Easy to get to and close to town. Would recommended

We feel that this property was not cleaned before we came (dirt and crumbles all over the house, tabletop and countertop had food on them, no personal products to get us started, had to clean all the bathroom sinks before we could use them, no use of fireplace. The home was very nice after we cleaned everything.

Excellent communication from the owner the entire time. I had booked almost 6 months in advance. Game room is awesome. Hardwood floors could’ve been a bit cleaner and there was an exposed electrical outlet on the main floor that could cause issues but all in all it was great.

This was an awesome house for our families to stay at while visiting Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We all had plenty of space and the kids loved the game room and theater room. The kitchen and seating area were plenty large enough to accommodate and the views were great of the Smokey’s!

This was by far the best vacation we ever had . we were able to fit all of us in one house, which is what we all needed to be together. We will go back there again, all of us were entertained with the huge game room, movie theater and breathtaking views from our deck and balconies. Thank YOU !!

The cabin was nice. Not the view that I was expecting & didnt realize how many cabins would be close by. I did receive a call the day of check in about the dryer not working. She knew on Monday it didnt work but waited until Thursday to check with her tech or get a new 1 ordered. There was 4 or 5 movies missing from their cases. Black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom in the bedroom at the top of the stairs. The bedroom downstairs was missing the tub drain plug & when I was checking rooms the day we left, there was little centipede looking bugs crawling out of the drain. For the amount of money that people pay to stay at this place, I guess I expected a little better but overall we had a good time & made memories with family & thats what we had planned the trip for.

Mom, sibling get away for Mother’s Day
The home is easy to get to and as pictured. There is plenty of space. We had 5 in group, all over 40. The games all worked fine, and we were able to get the projector going (multiple remotes).
Because they rent their beautiful home out…there was typical wear and tear on kitchen items and dishes. The handle on the microwave was completely unattached at the bottom. Most of the sliding glass doors in the bedrooms had broken locks. But they did have a piece of wood for the door jam to prevent it from opening.
We don’t typically iron on vacation, but we had a family photo shoot…and the base of the iron was completely broken, we had to lay it on the floor to iron.
Coming from Florida, I understand the bug issue, we checked in with quite a few dead ones laying around. Which was okay for us, because the pest control was working!
We didn’t use the hot tub, or take the top off so I can’t speak on that. But the base of the tub has seen better days.
Overall, all of my family members were happy with the space and would stay here again. Nothing was big enough to be a deal breaker. We appreciate them sharing the beautiful home.

Experience like no other!
We have been doing couples Retreats for years and I was very excited about this one. Even before we arrived, the owner reached out to ensure we had everything we needed. The cabin was amazing for what we needed! It was literally the perfect place to have a retreat! The owner was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. There was more than enough space in the home! Everyone was impressed!

Booking and check in were very easy. Loved the property. The cabin is beautiful and spacious. We loved the hot tub and enjoyed the huge back porch. The game room was a lot of fun. Movie room was cool as well. Would definitely stay again.

Better than the pictures!
This house was amazing. The views were incredible. It was close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We traveled with 5 families and everyone had their own suite. The game room was the perfect spot to chill and drink the moonshine we bought after a long day of hiking. The only flaws of this property was the overall cleanliness. Pictures and shelves were dusty, the vent in the main living space looks as though it's never been cleaned. There were some items that needed repair (screen door ripped so couldn't let air in and dryer is VERY loud). The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and the other issues did not impact the excellent time we had. Communication with the property owner was great! We would stay here again.

Very nice, but had to clean when we arrived
Upon arrival, we noticed that stone below the front door had been damaged. Inside the unit all the dishes were dirty and in the dishwasher. We had to was the dishes and put them all away. Downstairs we noticed trash under the gaming stations. There was damage to the legs of both gaming tables, and trash was left in the trash cans down stairs. Outside the hot tub has been damaged, with panels missing on several sides, and a large hole in the front. Trash was all over the back yard, including bottles filled with cigs. Overall the stay, and the cabin was nice, but had to clean and put away, and take pictures, before we could enjoy. The first day was a bust, but the rest was great. Not owners fault, but not what we expected to walk in to paying that much.

Amazing
Everything about the place was amazing! We had a small problem with the jetted tub and maintenance was out in a extremely short time. Definitely didn't want to leave.

Christmas at Timeout Cabin
I would have rated this property 4, possibly 5 starts were it not for the following:
1. Check-in no earlier than 4PM. Our party arrived shortly after 4 and had to wait for the cleaning crew to finish.
2. Dirt left on floor of bathroom in bedroom #3.
3. King bed in bedroom #5 (downstairs) was broken previously and jury rigged with a fence post and small pieces of cut 2 x 6 dimensional lumber. Bed completely collapsed when one of our guests went to lie down on the bed.
4. Jacuzzi tubs in bedrooms #3 and #5 in operable (jacuzzi jets not turning on). Jacuzzi tub drains in bedrooms #4 and #5 missing threaded insert to hold the drain plug in place.
Contacted the property manager and owner about the above issues. The owner was more than willing to have maintenance people come to the cabin to effect repairs. Being that it was Christmas Eve, and that we were able to make more sturdy repairs to the king bed and find and reset the GFCI outlets for the jacuzzi tubs, we did not have the repair crew come out.
The owner was very gracious and concerned about these issues (of which she was unaware).
Overall, we had a decent time, but feel that for the cost for rental of this property, these types of issues should not be happening.

This was my first time ever being to pigeon forge . This cabin the TIME OUT was very amazing and clean .

Awesome Family Christmas!!!
Each year our family selects a cabin to come together from Ky and NC to celebrate Christmas. This was the best experience yet. Loved the large kitchen table since we play a lot of games and loved the game room and theater room on the lower level. No bears this time…..maybe next year!!!

Not what we expected
The cabin was beautiful, but for the price we paid we expected more. From my past experiences, we have been able to rent for less and have 10 times the view. We had a really bad wasp issue and 2 family members are allergic. The check in time was 4pm, I reached out to the contact person asking to check in early, but was advised someone was still cleaning. When we arrived the kitchen was not swept, the refrigerator was not cleaned and the dishwasher did not work great. The washer and dryer make a horrible noise and both are outdated. The dryer barely works and I had to remove an excessive amount of lint for it to work a little better. The view was not what we expected and we didn’t realize we would have so many cabins close by and so much noise from construction. The positives were clean bathrooms and plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The rooms were clean as well, but there were alot of dead lady bugs on all the window seals and on the dressers/nighstands and in the bathtubs. Obviously we are in the woods and expected some bugs, but the cleaning crew should of cleaned all the dead ones before arrival. The small tables in the livingroom weren’t dusted and the house seems to be on a slant because some of the doors close by themselves. The rail of the balcony from room #2 seems very wobbly and unsafe.

This place was amazing!
It’s centrally located between pigeon forge and Gatlinburg! All 5 bedrooms are exactly the same, no arguing over rooms. Game room and hot tub were amazing for the kiddos! We will be back. Hoping to make it an annual trip. We had the best time.
