Our stay was everything we could have imagined and more! Patti was so helpful in any way she could be. She was so quick to respond to any questions we had. Patti made our stay even better she is a great host! The house was clean and stocked with so many things that made our stay even better and more convinient!

We love staying in Kihei and Kauhale Makai is just perfect for us. This was our third time renting this unit! We love being so centrally located to the beaches and restaurants we enjoy. It’s wonderful that the unit has the basics of lawn chairs, a cooler, and beach towels as well as all of the basic kitchen needs and SOFT bedding and bath towels. The swimming pool and bbq area is super clean and well maintained. It’s a slice of home away from home and it is a JOY to reconnect with Patti when we are ready to visit again — she was willing to accommodate our special request to come a few days early which was super appreciated. Mahalo and we hope to come again soon!

Condo was very clean, parking convenient to the unit and we were in 20 minutes of the majority of the places we went. Central A/C was strong in living areas, not so strong in the bedroom but the fan in the bedroom compensated for it.
Owner and property manager were responsive too.
Will stay here again next time we come to Maui.

The location of this condo was fantastic and quiet. Felt like being home rather than on vacation at a typical hotel. Loved being on the ground floor. Communication with the manager and others was easy and quick and very detailed information is given prior to the stay. Definitely somewhere I'd stay again when I get the chance to visit!

Our stay was great, the location was perfect as it made everything easily accessible. We didn't spend too much time as we were out and about but it was quiet and peaceful. My partner and I had a great time during this short stay of ours in Maui and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay here in Kihei as it was central to everything. We were able to check out and experience activities in all the different regions in Maui, which included snorkeling, Road to Hana, and much more. We were super thankful for the advice and tips given to us by our hosts and definitely recommend this stay!
Check-in process was quick and smooth, parking was plentiful and accommodation was clean and had all the necessities we needed for a day in or out. We definitely will be back as the island has so much to offer!

It was very clean and prepared for me. Communication was quick. They also had nice accessories like beach chairs that included masks and snorkels. I never made it to the pool or hot tub as they close a little early, but that is probably for the best. I mostly appreciated the firm bed. Would stay again.

Condo was nice, well equipped, short walk to the beach, description said partial ocean view but there was none, when we went to change our bedding after a week, the sheets folded in drawer had stains on it so we ended up rewashing the same ones, as well as some of the towels looked questionable, otherwise our stay was lovely.

This place was absolutely fantastic! Very clean, it had all the needed things to cook meals with, close to the beach, beach chairs and umbrella were provided, sunsets were awesome, close to great places to eat. Driving from the airport and surrounding local places was quick and easy. I would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for an amazing week!

We were thrilled with the location of the condo. On the 7th floor we had a wonderful view of the town and harbor from the balcony and a beautiful view of the mountains from the front. The condo was well furnished and made our brief stay in Kona very pleasant. Easy to walk into town. The only drawback -- minor -- was the road noise. Condo was clean and comfortable.

It is a great apartment right by the beach with swimming pool and hot tub. It has everything for a short or long stay including Tupperwares (great for packed lunches)! The room is right by the parking lot so it’s very easy to move in and out. Patti is fast at responding questions and provided a helpful handbook for the apartment and surrounding area.

We had a sister trip and decided to stay here at this condo. Lovely condo and close to everything. Beach is walking distance and other beaches was a short drive. This condo had everything we needed. If we had any questions for the host, she would immediately respond. We would definitely stay here again!

The power went out one night, and the flashlight in our room did not work. The next day we purchased batteries in case it went out again, the flashlight itself was broken. Had to leave the batteries there as you cannot take them on the plane. Also during our stay someone punched a hole in the gas tank of our rental vehicle and took all of the gas. We have been to Maui numerous times and nothing has ever happened to us before like that. The parking lot was a mess from all of the mud from the rainstorm. It was a tough trip.

Exactly what we anticipated. A quaint quiet condo community. Our host Patti was sweet and very helpful. The unit had everything we needed to cook and also great beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and beach towels. A short walk to the beach to watch great sunsets. Multiple beaches within minutes as well as bars, restaurants and shopping. We used the shared grills and everyone we chatted with was very nice.

The hospitaliity of hosts was outstanding, felt welcomed and very comfortable. Cottage had all modern conveniences, wifi worked well, laundry facilities excellent, saw whales from deck with binoculars. Will recommend to friends on other islands, great spot for getaway weekend. Close to lots of attractions and nature outing locations, especially Kealia wildlife refuge and boardwalk, and whale viewing lookout on highway to Lahaina. Nona Lani Cottages, we'll be back!

We really enjoyed being in this lovely condo in Kihei. Most everything you need is here and it is just a short walk over a grassy area to the beach.Though I would have liked a few more towels for kitchen and bathroom, there was a lovely trove of beach equipment (chairs, towels, noodles, cooler) that was much enjoyed. The owner, Patti, was very helpful and always answered my questions ASAP. I really appreciated that. There are some rules and regs to follow for the condo building, but it all seemed very reasonable. If you stay here, be sure to get a Shave Ice at "Beach Street" down the way on Kihei Rd. WOW!! Overall, Great place to stay!!
