Everything was very good. We all loved the swimming, hot tub, paddle boards and kayaks. We mistakenly thought we would see July 4th fireworks from the dock and would plan differently next time. We had a somewhat rainy week but it didn't spoil our stay.

Wonderful location, right on Mirror Lake in Lake Placid. We caught and released fish from the dock, went kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing with equipment at the house. Cooked meals for family of 5, finding all we needed in the kitchen. We hiked nearby and walked around the lake into town where we enjoyed the view of the lake and quaint shopping area. Any issues were promptly addressed. Outside - Bugs and weather can be an issue this time of year but we managed with the right clothing and bug spray.

My son graduated from Northwood HS (right up the street). This home made this already special event even more special. Everything was perfect and our host could not have been more accommodating. Example: We ran out of propane while cooking on the grill. We let Bill know and he had someone out to replace it with in five minutes. FIVE MINUTES! As for the home itself. Well put it this way it was so beautiful that many of the senior parents requested to take pictures of their son in the backyard with the lake in the background. This home will forever have a special place in my family’s heart. It’s that beautiful

We were two families, each with 3 children, and had a wonderful/cozy stay at the house. The house came just as listed and pictured and it was fun for all generations!

We had a wonderful long stay at Mirrors Edge over the Christmas and New Years holidays. The home had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable - which helped after our ski days! We enjoyed using the fireplace, playing games with friends and family, the hot tub, and the easy and scenic walks into town. We were lucky to ice skate on both the lake and the Olympic oval! Both the owner and property manager were very responsive and helpful when we had questions or needs. We’d love to stay again!

Nice house for our family. Kitchen was well appointed. Fun to swim off the dock and then use the hot tub. Use of the boats and SUPs was a bonus.Only issue we had was with the gas grill not getting sufficiently hot to cook our dinner one night. Would love to go back.

This was our tenth time in lake placid, first time at this property. It was our best trip yet!!! We all loved being lakefront, especially our golden retriever. Also great access to the cobble hill hike which is one of our favorites with our young kids. Spacious house, well equipped. Highly recommend!

Very relaxing home. Some basic upkeep is needed like fixing broken drain in tub and ripped screen. Windows didn’t open close properly. Overall very clean and nice but does need a bit of care.

My family of 6 adults and 4 children had a wonderful time at this property and enjoyed every minute using the provided paddle boards and kayak’s on the lake.

We stayed with family of 5 (kids are teens and young adults) and had plenty of room and enjoyed the house and being right on Mirror Lake. The property had one kayak, one canoe, and several standup paddle boards. The row boat had a leak so we didn’t use that. Would have loved one more kayak so more than one of us could go kayaking together, but that’s pretty minor. We had a great time and would come back. It was a nice bonus to be able to hop in the hot tub after swimming in the cool lake water. We fished (and released) off the dock and in the lake with great success, which was so fun! We built a fire in the outdoor fire pit and made s’mores. We also had a fire in the house on one of the cooler nights, which was easy and cozy. House is within walking distance of town, and we walked/ran around the lake every day for a bit of exercise (2.6 miles). We also hiked Mt Van Ho one day, which has a lovely view. And we enjoyed the local restaurants and shops. All in all a terrific visit was had by all!

House was clean, comfortable and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A few highlights were using the hot tub after skiing, ice skating across the lake to town, enjoying the fireplace and cooking dinners in. Would go back in a heartbeat!

We spent Thanksgiving with our two adult daughters and their family’s at Mirrors Edge and It was perfect! The kitchen was spacious enough and well equipped to make our holiday dinner. The fireplace made it cozy as the snow was coming down and the hot tub was clean and large enough for all the adults to enjoy some relaxing time together. I would highly recommend this property.

We loved this space! The house was perfect for our second annual family Lake Placid trip. We had a group of 9 and a dog and everyone loved it. We took the canoe out on the lake for a nice paddle. The proximity to town is great, we walked around the lake every day. Great communication leading up to the stay and easy check in process. We highly recommend Bill’s place!

Mirrors edge was a perfect spot for our family get away. The house was spacious, the kitchen was great for cooking dinners. We brought 2 extra kayaks and had a great time kayaking, paddle boarding, and using the canoe to fish! Will definitely be back!!

The house and property are exactly as represented in the VRBO listing. It was exceptionally clean, cozy, and convenient. It perfectly accommodated our group of 8 adults and 2 children. Some confusion w/ the TV connection was promptly resolved by the property manager and Tom was equally attentive in making sure firewood was supplied at the beginning of the week. We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the canoe, kayak, paddle boards, and hot tub daily! The kids had a blast fishing off the dock every morning too. Smores around the fire pit was the nightly wind down for all. The kitchen is very convenient and well appointed with dishes, utensils, coffee makers etc. We appreciated that small portable fans were available in the bedrooms too. It is a beautiful spot on Mirror Lake and is also an easy walk to town. There is a nice easy hike up Cobble Hill accessed by the trailhead just across the street. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this property to any group looking for a comfortable quiet stay.

This house has everything you might need- comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, grill, hot tub, kayak/canoe, access to hikes, the most beautiful VIEW. We had an excellent stay and loved every minute of it. Access to the lake in your backyard is priceless- we started and ended our days there. Saw the most gorgeous sunset! The kids had plenty to keep them busy too. Owner and manager were very responsive. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing this gem with us!

Bill's house was the perfect long-weekend spring getaway for our family. The kids loved the option of the hot-tub (and even took a polar plunge in the lake) and the adults loved the view and proximity to town while still feeling like we were in a very private setting.

Easy walk to town and great to be on the lake. It was our first time in Lake Placid, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The boys loved their hot tub time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mirror’s Edge. We travelled with another family and the home was perfect for eight of us. The kitchen is larger than pictures which was a bonus. The location is spectacular. We would love to rent again sometime in the summer!

What a lovely property--everything was as promised in the listing. A well-appointed house in a great location. Plenty of room for 4 adult couples. We made great use of the hot tub. The property manager was very responsive when we realized we needed firewood. We hope to make this a yearly trip to this same property!

What a terrific experience from start to finish. The property is perfectly located just off the village , a nice walk to everything . The property itself is well kept comfortable and cozy although by no means small or cramped , just comfortably homey . The property owner is a delight to work with and the property manager was available and friendly . I can’t wait to return.
