Sean was super to deal with. Location couldn’t be any better for East Hampton.

We stayed for a week as a group of people for a work trip in town. We really enjoyed the property, pool, and the house after work each day. The owner is very easy to communicate, responds in the very short time, The house has everything you need and the owner has an eye for every detail and item you may possibly find yourself looking for. There is a gas as well as charcoal BBQ equipment, and we BBQ’ed 4 nights in the row. The appliances are a bit dated; however washing mashing and oven work better then any modern appliances. I highly recommend this property to any group of guests.

I joined 8 family members, ages 14 to 80, plus 1 mini-doodle, to spend an extended Mother’s Day weekend at this gem of a house. Sean was an extremely informative and accommodating host. He was always available to answer questions, from the minute we expressed interest in using the pool so early in the season, until the final detailed instructions that he provided for check-out day. The house is conveniently located (note: since it’s in the middle of town, be ready for some passing train noise, which you will quickly get used to); it’s well appointed with all appliances/TVs/WiFi/etc you might need; as well as extremely neat and comfortably furnished. In addition to the pool, there is a large backyard that the mini-doodle enjoyed most of all. Yes, it’s an older house, but, my family grew up in a house that was even older, so we know that the years of natural wear and tear only add to its charm. Our one wish would have been for more room in the driveway to maneuver the 4 SUV’s that we arrived in. We all hope to return, perhaps with some other family members, as soon as our schedules will allow it, and when the weather is a bit warmer, so that we can actually enjoy the beautiful pool and nearby beaches, and explore more of the neighborhood shops, restaurants and local trails, and visit more of the suggested locations that Sean so graciously took the time to outline for us.

Great location, accommodating host, spacious property. Could do with a little updating but also part of its' charm.

We had a great time staying at Sean's home. The location was perfect. Walk to town and a beautiful playground/park.

My friends and I decided to take a girl’s trip the weekend of September 12th to enjoy the last bits of summer. We considered some other properties on VRBO, but Sean’s home was the clear winner. We loved the central location in East Hampton for exploring Montauk & Sag Harbor as well and easy walking distance to Newtown Lane and all shopping/restaurants. The home was very comfortable and well appointed, we spent a lot of time outside in the backyard and in the heated inground swimming pool, it was perfect. Sean was an excellent host, his communication was perfect and he provided us with very detailed local guides which we used that made our stay even better. Vacationing in the time of Covid-19- when we arrived at the property we were all masked and so was Sean, the professional cleaning crew was finishing inside and were also all masked (we arrived early). Sean took the time to show us some outside features of the property while the crew finished and inside when the cleaning was complete. We felt very safe and secure with the protocols put in place and were happy we found this gem to spend a lovely weekend outside of the city. We are already talking about when we might return.

Amazing! I stayed here with a group of girlfriends and we all loved it! Sean was incredibly helpful and thoughtful when explaining particular details of the house and was very responsive before and during the stay if questions arose. The house's location is perfect... a 5-min walk to the nearest coffee shop, sandwich shop, train station, and to the main town.The pool and backyard is beautiful - and the house itself is inviting and comfortable. It was my third time to stay in the Hamptons and this was by far my favorite experience. Can't wait to visit again!! Thank you!

My daughter got married over the summer and they will be soon be moving away for work. We decided to start a yearly family reunion tradition and chose this beautiful home for our first one. Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Such a great location in this charming town. We made or bought picnic lunches nearly everyday and just walked till we chose another tranquil spot to enjoy our meal surrounded by nature. Our host provided excellent suggestions and left us a local hiking guide which never failed to deliver. Even though it was the end of September, we lucked out and had some very warm and sunny days so the pool was also enjoyed more than we anticipated. We are all looking forward to returning again, hopefully next year.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sean’s house. His house is so nicely decorated and offers so many nice amenities. It is a huge house with so many different sleeping options, which are all very nice to choose from. His swimming pool is beautiful, clean, refreshing and very relaxing. We loved hanging out by his pool! His house is perfectly located near everything in the small town of East Hampton. We loved walking with our pet bulldog to get coffee across the street each morning; we even ran into some celebrities a few times there and in nearby Sag Harbor which is always exciting. Our favorite time during our stay at Sean’s house was enjoying each others’ company while eating dinner (which we grilled in the backyard as well as cooked inside- it was quite a feast) outside by the lit tiki torches and graceful fireflies that lit up his entire backyard and pool; it looked like a storybook or movie set. Simply beautiful!! Sean definitely takes wonderful care of his home and his guests, and we greatly appreciated all the wonderful hospitality! We would of course definitely stay again! Thanks for a great time and all your excellent suggestions, which definitely ensured a fabulous vacation for us all!!

all was as described and everything worked out fine for our group of ten --2 families--over the Thangsgiving holiday.

Why we love it: 1. LOCATION Hands down the best location we could ask for. We wanted relaxation as we live in Hong Kong we wanted peace and quiet. But we also don't want something so secluded that going to restaurants, shops and some city life necessities (yoga class or spa treatment) end up being a chore. This house is so close to the best restaurants Hamptons has to offer - Babette's, Nichol's Serafina, Nick and Toni's among the too many of them to mention. I sweat we never had a bad meal. When I mean close, it is close because we walked to almost all of them (except Nichol's which was a 3 minute drive) The main street beach was really close, a 10-15 minute bike ride. The shopping was topnotch as you get a selection of a well curated retailers which are again a 5 minute walk from Sean's house. 2. CLEAN, WELL-EQUIPPED AND COMFY EVERYWHERE Sean's house was made and decorated for someone to be living in there. Not the type that's all polished, stainless steel and concrete. The most important for us is that it's clean and functional and we got it. This house doesn't aim to give hotel standards, or make you feel like you're in a serviced apartment. And that's what we love about it. As soon as you walk in, you will feel the warmth of the place, a house with a character that you can almost believe that it's your own after a few days. That's how comfortable it felt for us to be staying there. And this house has everything you need. Bread maker? Check. Bicycles of various sizes? Check. Condiments of all sorts, everything really. We had more than what we need. The pool was ace. The dinning area was our favorite with lots of sunshine in the morning. 3. THE HOST Sean was the most accommodating and attentive host ever. Beats every concierge I've met! And we've travelled all over the world in top cities from London, Tokyo, Milan etc. He will list everything from food, farm fresh eggs, train schedules even booked us a spot on the jitney just in case we decide to take it back to the city. I could go on and on about this place. This has got to be one of my favorite holidays ever!

My family tried to book this property for July 4th but we waited a bit too long so we ended up booking it for the following week. It was great! The location was so close to everything we biked or walked with my kids to just about everything. There was a free electric shuttle to Main Beach with really nice drivers that would even take us right back to the house since it was so close to one of their regular stops. For grocery shopping Sean gave us a classic Radio Flyer Wagon to use so we didn't even have to take the car for that. There were great food options all so close, we went several times to both Villa for sandwiches and Sam's for Pizza. Sean, the owner, gave us a dozen farm fresh eggs from a local Chicken farm when we arrived which was really a nice gesture, and we later went back there to get both more eggs and a fresh Chicken which was amazingly delicious. We slow-smoked it on a Charcoal BBQ. The owner was genuinely helpful. He set up his volleyball net and provided a Bocce' set for us to use. There were also a large selection of bicycles available for use but we had actually brought ours with us.

We had a great stay in East Hampton with 8 people, our baby and our dog. The house was very comfortable and close to everything. We rented the house in May, so the pool wasn't open yet, but that would have made it even better I guess. Sean was of great help both before, during and after our stay and although returning the deposit took a little longer than expected, I can warmly recommend this wonderful house to everyone and would love to rent it again some other time!

I will start out with the good aspects of this rental, as I do have to credit Sean with the location of this house. This house is literally right next to the main strip in East Hampton, as well as the train station. The grounds/pool outside of the house are all expansive and semi-well manicured. The house was not exactly "pristine" when we arrived, nor was it throughout our entire trip. The "loft" is actually an attic with a couple of twin beds. There were old, personal details spread throughout the house, which we actually ended up putting in a safe spot, as they looked as though they were easily destructable and we didn't want to be held responsible. The fence in the front yard was completely damaged and the outside/entryways were not exactly aesthetically pleasing. All in all, we had fun with what we were dealt, but I would go and take a look at the house before you rent. We have yet to receive any communication back from Sean regarding our deposit/stay. I have been forced to look into other ways of getting a hold of him.

Our first time in the Hamptons and we picked a great house and location. The house was extremely comfortable and plenty of room for all 8 of us! The pool was phenomenal! Access to town was ideal - a very short walk. Sean, the owner, was extremely helpful in making this a wonderful vacation for our family. It is such a beautiful area to explore on foot, by bike or car!

Sean's place is a beautiful home, 5 minute walk from downtown East Hampton on a great block of land. The home is considerably larger than the photo's let on and very clean. Sean was very quick to reply to my initial inquiry about staying and communicated frequently and thoroughly making the rental process smooth pleasant. Sean also shared many details of the history and local area knowledge during our stay and is a great wealth of knowledge. It wound up raining during our stay so we spent a lot of time in the house where Sean had cards and games that kept us busy. If you're looking for a nice home near East Hampton this property is a sure win!
