my 3rd time staying at the Crow's Nest and so glad to have met Casey years ago. We have grown up coming to Trinidad my entire life for over 50 years ! Such a treat to bring my cute parents to celebrate their 62 th wedding anniversary ! Thank you Karen for taking good care of us ! upgrades are nice and I love the painted ceiling :)

This was our fourth or fifth time staying here with our two kids ages 5 and 6, and we will be back again year after year as long as they’ll let us! It is just the most beautiful, cozy home with an enchanting garden and breathtaking views, and walking distance to the beach, cafes, store, restaurants, and hikes. We love not having to use the car much here and the kids spend most of the day frolicking in the garden. I can’t think of a way to improve it, except for one suggestion, which would be to replace the sofa bed in the little room because it’s pretty uncomfortable (even for kids) and swap it for two twins or a full bed or bunk beds or really any other mattress that is meant for sleeping rather than a sofa. I didn’t have to sleep there so still give this place 5/5 stars and will always be begging to come back, but I do think making that second room into more of a sleep room would be much more useful than a random couch in a little room. The crow’s nest is by far my favorite little place to stay in the world, and anyone who gets to stay here should consider themselves lucky!

Trinidad itself is such a cute little town! This VRBO was so cozy and had so much character. We were there for a wedding I was in so unfortunately we didn’t get to spend much time at the rental but would definitely make the trek back out to stay! The location was great walking distance to the Seascape restaurant and pier and would have been easy to walk to the grocery store as well. The rental was clean with plenty of linens available. The hot tub was wonderful! No complaints!

First time visit to area and was told Trinidad would be a great spot to base out of. Suggestion was spot on. Local area was friendly and so welcoming. Rental was perfect with tremendous and relaxing views of the water through huge floor to ceiling windows. Perfect size for 2.

We loved our stay here! The house was very well-stocked, clean, and comfortable. The gorgeous beach and quaint town (with restaurants and shops) are just a short walk away. The hot tub was so fun and relaxing after a long day of hiking. And the view from the house is absolutely stunning! We were sad to leave and plan to return.

From the amazing view to the great location this home is perfect. Beach, pier, hiking & restaurants are all right outside your door. You can watch the sunrise & fishing boats leave the cove in the morning. In the evening you can watch the sunset from your patio or walk down a sort block to the beach! We absolutely love this little house!

This is a fabulous place to stay in Trinidad. Great views of Trinidad Bay, watching the crab boats go out to sea, kayakers & part of the pier from the front windows. Short walk down to the bay, to Trinidad beach, to Trinidad Head & into town for exploring & food. House has nice furnishings, a well-appointed kitchen & loved all the sitting areas inside the house & the outdoor patio areas.

Great location/ocean/harbor view, easy walk to the beach/town. Recliners would be more comfortable instead of a couch in kitchen area to enjoy the great view. We had hoped the hot tub was working. All hot tub information should be removed from VRBO website/inside house, unless owner plans on replacing the hot tub??? It would be awesome if they did. Overall great place will be back and recommend it.

We had a wonderful time in this clean, cozy home with a spectacular view. The location couldn’t be better. You can walk down to the beach or the Seascape for a meal in just a few minutes. The home had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. The wood stove was a nice addition on a chilly evening as well. We’ll be back!

Perfect location and grand view. When visiting Trinidad, first choice is the Crow’s Nest which is on a short dead end road. Washer/dryer is a real plus, as is the hot tub!

This is one of our favorite places to stay as a family. The location is perfect, the views are unbelievable, the beaches nearby are fantastic. Everything is an easy drive away and it's always so wonderful to spend the evenings gazing out at the sea. The house is comfortable and I especially enjoy the access to laundry to help us pack light for our long trips along the California coast.

the view from the living room makes the house. The place was spotless and the owner/cleaning crew must be OCD on organization! Spoons and forks were stacked lined up perfectly as was all the kitchen cookware. (Being OCD on cleanliness I relate!)
The cooking material (pots/pans etc.) was of good quality. There were a few basic spices such as salt and pepper and basil, but not a lot more. If you drink coffee I'd take your own.
The porch was nice to sit on and watch the Pacific.
Overall a great place and no complaints at all.
