This house is beautifully decorated, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The hot tub feels great. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook your own meals. The location couldn’t be better! The house is in Trinidad which has the friendliest people and wonderful restaurants. They also have a beautiful beach and their own nature trail. The location is close and convenient to the redwoods. My young adult sons and I absolutely loved the house and the town of Trinidad. We will be back and we will definitely want to stay in this house!!

We also accidentally left a pair of shoes there which the owner happily mailed back to us. We also had an issue issue with the plumbing while we were there and The owners had a plumber, there the same day to fix it. Great service!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Redwood Retreat house. The kitchen was well stocked, including plenty of cookware, dishes, and pantry essentials. The rooms are very spacious, beds are comfortable, and the couch is cozy. The hot tub was amazing and the backyard was perfect for sports for my kids. This was a freat choice for us as a family and everyone enjoyed themselves.

This home was perfect for us and our 2 kids (2 & 4 y/o) it had all the finishing touches that made the home feel cozy under the redwoods. The kids loved the hot tub which was clean and perfectly hot. The kitchen was easy to use and stocked perfectly for making dinner at home. The beds were so comfy!!!!!!!! Like very comfortable even the pillows, blankets and sheets. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

They have instructions for everything including the wood fireplace, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there were plenty of supplies. Every room has a king bed which made sleeping arrangements easy and they were all very comfortable. The hot tub was very clean, hot, and well maintained. We got lucky and had a nice day out on the back patio just soaking up the sun. Checking in and out was really easy and we didn't need to contact management for anything during our visit. The house is extremely close to everything in Trinidad making travel convenient. We would definitely all stay here again.

Fully stocked from spices to tea to firewood and kindling- we were extremely impressed with the attention to detail and comfort. All guests exclaimed how comfortable the beds and pillows were. The hot tub is so great for a group of teens to chat in for hours at a time- puzzles and games galore are fun for all- but the layout to me is the best because the living dining and kitchen area are one (very) big room so all of the guests feel they are together while cooking, eating and cozying up in the large L shaped couch. We will definitely stay again- this was already our second stay and it was even better the second time!

The house was great, inviting, clean and very comfortable. Communication was efficient and friendly. We have no complaints and highly recommend this location, especially if you’re looking for a nice quiet coastal getaway. Our family enjoyed the proximity to Trinidad Stare Beach, Clam Beach, the redwoods and some local eatery’s. Of course, relaxing in the hot tub after a fun day of adventuring!

Lovely restful place under the redwoods. The hot tub on the deck overlooks a roomy fenced yard with an ancient apple tree. The king sized beds were comfortable and we enjoyed using the cozy fireplace as well. Nice and quiet though Trinidad is close by.

Perfect location to travel north and south to view all the state parks. Home was clean, comfortable and had all the necessities.

We stayed here for our Redwoods vacation. Great location to the park and to the beach. The property itself is spacious, clean, organized, and has a wonderful backyard surrounded by forest! The place also has a very clean jacuzzi! The bed is also so comfortable. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

This property far exceeded our expectations! It is incredibly comfortable and the location/accessibility to everything Trinidad and thd surrounding areas have to offer is ideal. The neighborhood is quiet and even though Hwy 101 is close, the traffic does not disrupt the peace and quiet the property offers. The home was spotless and we had every creature comfort we needed. We had nothing but great communication from the owners from the time we booked in January, right up to/during our trip in July. We love to visit the area and will plan to try to stay here again during our next trip!♡

The house was great, very well furnished with all the kitchen stuff needed. Hot tub great. You do need to make the tv easy to use. People want to get the news etc. so offering an easy access to the major channels like cnn, msnbc, is important. The tv in the bedroom as dead.

You can be in the kitchen and enjoy the company of someone at the dining table or in the living room. Not to mention the cozy fireplace and large couch. We had 6 adults on there. Step out the dining room onto the deck with a hot tub and outdoor shower. The backyard is fully fenced with loads of room for activities. It was snowing when our group was there. Which made the hot tub experience even more memorable.Our group would definitely stay here again!

It is clear this house has been loved and cherished. Beautiful art and healthy house plants made it homey. It was spacious and comfortable, filled with games (we did 6 puzzles!). The open floor plan made for lovely family time- some were lounging on the large comfy couch, some playing games at the large dining table and some were cooking in the kitchen but we were able to all talk and enjoy each other’s company. It was extremely clean and organized and had every kitchen need that came up for cooking three meals a day for three days. Superb and efficient wood burning stove with some complimentary wood. The huge yard with lush green grass was perfect for the dog. The deck and the hot tub were beautiful and lots of fun especially for the teens. All three of the beds were extremely comfortable. This house was better than we imagined it would be, the hosts were conscientious and communicative and we will definitely be back. The location was great too- super close to the local supermarket and walking distance to great trails and restaurants. Can’t wait to see it in spring or summer when the flowers are blooming!

We travel a lot and have stayed at many rental properties over the years. This rental easily falls near the top of the list for us! We stayed with our young daughter and golden retriever and the fenced yard—which is huge—was perfect for both of them to explore safely. The interior of the home is well appointed and very comfortable while also being very family friendly. The kitchen is amazing and all the rooms were very good size with comfy beds. The cute coastal town of Trinidad is three minutes away, yet the property feels very private and is surrounded by redwoods. It’s the perfect home base to explore all that Humboldt County and the surrounding area has to offer—oh and the hot tub comes in handy after a long day of hiking! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again!

I loved the quiet and every room in the home was very comfortable. The trees surrounding the house really gave a sense of seclusion and retreat from the rest of the world. A surprise for me were the games and puzzles in the closet. The skylights throughout the house really allowed for a lot of natural light which made the house very comfortable and easy to be in. I did not try walking to the beach as it is a downhill walk all the way there... I will definitely stay here again.
