Loved the pool, would have liked a door between the two half’s . Lorraine was available when we needed her.

From day 1 this has been a 5 star booking. Lorraine helped us with all the extras we needed for a large party of 19 ranging in age. She was always prompt to send me recommendations, answer questions and provided extra! We rented both sides for 4 families plus my mom. We had lots of room and everything we needed down to extra air mattresses for the kiddos. Pool was the highlight for the kids and bonus on rainy non beach days. More than enough sitting room on the deck as well as extra umbrellas for those sunny days! We were able to let the kids swim at night with the flood lights. Pool was kept chlorinated appropriately throughout our stay as well. The beach is less than half a mile walk down the road but you can also drive to a parking spot if necessary. It was great to pop down to the beach for the afternoon and finish up at the pool in the evening! We would take nightly walks as a family to the ice cream shop about a mile down the road next to waves (another highlight of the trip for the kids). Back to the rental! Bedrooms were all setup with necessary items including floor fans. Beds were comfy and clean. Bathrooms were clean and having 2 on each side for 19 ppl was great. We grilled out some nights doing family style pitch ins! My mom really enjoyed this memorable 70th celebration with her family all week! We couldn’t have asked for a better host and property!

We came with my family and had a great time. The pool was a hit with my kids! Lorraine, the property manager, was very kind and replied quickly (within 24 hours) to all my messages prior to coming. The home is 2 separate units that share a wall and outdoor space and this worked out well for us. They each have their own separate keys and entrances. You can easily hear any noise and walking from the other side. That didn't bother us because we were all together anyway. They give you dish soap, a pod for the dishwasher, special cleaner for the stove, a grill (but you have to lift it up a flight of stairs to use it), smart TVs in every room, family games, one set of towels per bed space, kitchen appliances like crockpot and waffle-maker. The linens and towels are not good quality. They remind of what they have in hospitals, very thin and small. A few things I expected to have and didn't have in the home: - towels for the pool and or beach - Keurig machine (there is a coffee pot) - complimentary shampoo/conditioner/soap (there was soap but it smelled like cleaning solution) - laundry basket or hamper - drawers to unpack the children's things (there are drawers in the master and bins in the other room, but not anything useful in the kids' room) - plastic dishes (everything was glass and I was afraid my kids might break something) Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back! These are just notes of things I wish I had known beforehand so I could pack accordingly.

We found the Sun Princess to be a great location near the beach. Unfortunately, the pool was out of commission for our stay, but Lorraine made up for that. The beds were a little too firm for our liking, but we loved having 2 separate units for our stay. The units were clean and had everything we needed.

Beautiful location and having pool was an added plus. A few cleanliness issues. Lovely spot among beach houses. Lots of room on the beach. Master bedroom bed mattress was hard. Smoke alarm going off, trash under bed and clothes from previous tenant found in closet. I would rent this again!

We had a very large party but never felt too crowded. The pool was very nice and it was super close to the beach. Had a hiccup with the AC at the very beginning of our trip and the property manager was very quick to respond and come check it out. No complaints!

We had a great stay! Only one issue with the pool for a couple days but owners worked it out to make it right! Enjoyed the property with 3sets of family, plenty of room for all us, liked the pool and patio spaces! Little walk to the beach but would definitely stay again!

We had family, kids and grands, travel from Iowa, Michigan and Las Vegas for a togetherness vacation time. This was the best place and best time. The pool was perfect for the littles, the adults enjoyed it too. The beach walk was enjoyable and not too far, again for all. The units met all of our needs. We were fortunate to have both to help accommodate all the family. We have already given recommendations to others. Our host was great to always check in, via email. To make sure all was going ok. My family, along with my in-laws and all the siblings and cousins, came to Gulf Shores for the first trip of its kind in 20 years and it was spectacular. Our house was an easy walk, one block from the beach. The kids loved that we had a pool they could jump in at any hour as well! Everything we needed was within a 10 minute drive. We would definitely stay again!

The house was perfect for our large family. It was clean, modern, and close to the beach. It is not far from the beach and it is within walking distance of a couple restaurants. I locked myself out of the house at 10:30 pm and Ms. Lorraine did not complain not once. She came right over and let us in. Communication with her was open and immediate throughout the entire process. This is a great property that comes with a great owner. I would definitely stay here again!

Charming & rustic.

We had a nice time staying here with our extended family for Thanksgiving. We had both units with enough room for all 14 of us. Also within walking distance to the beach.

We loved our little vacation over the 4 day weekend! It was a pretty easy walk to the beach and a quick drive to all our favorite spots. The kids loved the pool and everyone had a place to sleep (all 18 of our family)!

We really enjoyed having our own pool and both sides to spread out. A connecting door at the top of both stairways would be awesome though. Plenty of parking, not too far from beach access. WiFi was slow which may be the area . Pretty much everything we needed was there and my grandson enjoyed the sand and pool toys provided. Beds are very firm which could be a plus or minus for some. Great water pressure and washer, dryer and dishwasher didn’t take forever like some do. Great place for a large group and would recommend. Friendly very reponsive host also

Great location and we had a wonderfult time!

Their were 8 of us so we booked both sides of the duplex to have plenty of room. We loved the property ,especially having a private pool just for us. It was in a great location, close to restaurants and shopping and only a few minutes walk to the beach!

We had an excellent stay! This house was clean, close to beach and the pool was excellent to have all to our selfs! We had 4 teens, 6 adults, and 5 children in our family and had plenty of room! Lorraine was awesome to rely on if needed!

Overall everything was okay,

We had a great time with our stay at this house and it was perfect for our needs. Loved the location with easy walking distance to the beach and being able to use the pool throughout the day. There were pool/beach toys for us to use which was unexpected but much appreciated. Our host, Lorraine, was very easy to communicate with prior, during, and then after our stay. We did a grocery pickup on the way to the house, we did wish we had known to add toilet paper early because there wasn't any extra. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. It is a great location, great communication. Thanks for a great family vacation!

We loved spending our family vacation here! It was impossible to stay out of the pool and the communication with Lorraine and Ray was incredible. Can’t wait to come back!

We had grandparents and 2 families staying. Beach was a short drive away. House had everything we needed. Even games and puzzles. Kids loved the pool.

We rented both sides and were instantly impressed with the size and cleanliness of the property! Our multifamily group of 12 had plenty of room to have our own space and not feel like we were packed in. The kids loved the pool and the adults loved the constant breeze on the deck. We loved our time in the Sun Princess!

We had a great stay this past week. There was plenty of room for our family group of 16. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and pots and pans. The layout was great. The pool was a big hit as well. We will consider renting this property in the future, if it is available for our dates. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
