Fresh and clean

All was good. Handy for buses and uber. Very pleasent when needed to spk to the owner answered and sorted anything straight away

The house was beautiful, clean, light and spacious. The furniture, furnishings and beds were comfortable and of a good standard. Four of us stayed at the property and we all felt relaxed and completely at home.

The property was lovely and clean, very modern and had everything we required for our short break.

Excellent pre-communication from Sarah. Arrived to a lovely property with off street parking. A very sweet arrival message was left on the chalk board, which was appreciated. Beautifully clean and fresh. Soft carpets. Spacious bedrooms. Cosy and warm with great WiFi. Kitchen was fully kitted out, we only used kettle and toaster for our short stay, but there was everything you'd need. Back garden looked perfect for enjoying meals outside, but the October weather and us being very busy exploring York, we didn't venture out the back door. It was great situation, quiet street and Aldi just across the road for supplies, with just a short drive in to the centre of York. Could be walked if you had plenty of time. The washing up liquid, loo roll and lovely handsoaps etc which were in the house, we're also much appreciated, as it means you do t need to buy these items for short stays. A selection of dvds was available and we even managed a family game of Scrabble. Would definitely recommend it, and would stay again.

We were 3 adults and an older, bigger teen, so the single 3- seater sofa in the living was just too small for us to be comfortable. Using a wooden chair from the kitchen to sit and watch telly was ok for a really short period of time, but another armchair would have made all the difference. Likewise the towels - there was 1 towel per person, and not big. They were probably bath towels but definitely not bath sheets. Finally another very small point, there was only 1 bedside light per bedroom, and I would have like one on both beside tables for reading.

Everything!!! The house was beautiful and in a perfect location. It was like going from home to home. So comfortable and had everything we needed.

Beautiful house and garden. Off street parking for 1 car. Comfortable and immaculately tidy. Modern and stylish. Taxis to city centre were unbelievably prompt.

Beautiful home. Decorated to high spec. Very comfortable beds, lovely bed linen, had everything we needed. Garden was amazing. Sarah replied immediately if I had a question. Superb. A luxurious 2 day stay had by all.

The only thing I can think of to find something to write is I'm used to a superking size bed so that would have been great but thats just a personal preference 😁

Everything, house was lovely and clean, everything was thought of, the little notes were great.

Good location within 20 mins walk of the race course and 35 mins of the city centre or easy bus route. Lidl around the corner for fresh croissants which were enjoyed in the beautiful garden.

Place2be is beautiful the house and garden is well maintained it’s not far to York centre will defo be booking again it’s like home from home loved it

Such a lovely place! Very quirky and in a fantastic location! Decorated and furnished beautifully! My girls loved the garden! Absolutely recommend!

Everything! Very friendly host, lovely home which was very clean, bright and airy. There was a personalised welcome board and sanitiser wipes/gel for our use which was very thoughtful. The beds were comfy and the garden was very inviting. Perfect distance from the centre of York - 10 mins and both pubs nearby were within walking distance and friendly too.
