Our group of 18 of all ages had a great long weekend. There were a lot of unique features that kept our stay interesting. The huge commercial kitchen was great, and having the space upstairs for all of us to eat together was a plus. The golf course, fishing in the pond, visiting the animals, the workout area in the silo, and more, kept everyone active which we really enjoyed. The huge covered firepit area was a hit also! The hosts were responsive and helpful - we really enjoyed our stay.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The facilities are spacious and the owners great with responses to questions. The kitchen was well equipped. There were 34 of us using all their housing locations with beds to spare. The only alert to future renters would be to be aware the main congregating area and a lot of the bedrooms require going up a flight of stairs. We loved to large room we could gather in, the big fire pit and the spacious grounds.

As with previous reunions spots, we used this place as a central point as we explored other activities in the area. We could have stayed at this property the whole time because there was plenty of room to roam, things to do and places to just chat. Dining together is important to us and there was plenty of space to do just that. Kids had a marvelous time playing games indoors and outdoors and adults and older kids enjoyed talking in various areas of the property.

Easy access. Great location away from distractions with view of countryside. Buildings had everything needed for large family. We all had a great time. Close enough to enjoy several outings on day trips. Excellent assistance by host!

So much to do on the property itself and lots of room inside and outside for the 9 families that gathered. Such a relaxing and peaceful spot. No one wanted to leave and we’re already talking about coming back.

The property was as advertised. The fun little "farm" par 3 golf course was unique to have at a property and added to the fun. The host was excellent.

A getaway with our children and grandchildren. The main lodge offered a great area for meals and fellowship and there were enough bedrooms between lodge and Blanche House. The group enjoyed the golf, fishing, canoeing. We did the catered Pinsa meal by owner Dave along with the ax throwing and corn hole game. Everyone enjoyed it! Thanks for a great place to get our family together!

We rented this property (Big Barn Main Lodge and Blanche House) to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary with a party and reunion weekend over Memorial Day weekend. It was perfect!!!
From the commercial kitchen to the large gathering space upstairs complete with a sound system and a pool table and deck with plenty of seating, we ate and enjoyed and celebrated all weekend.
Communication with Wendy and Dave was superb. They were amazing hosts and responsive within minutes of my texts and ensured we received everything we needed. (And we were 20 family members staying overnight and about 40 for the party—lots of needs!). Their pride in the property and their absolute dedication to us having an excellent stay was spectacular…5 star.
We will be coming back for future reunions, and I’m dreaming of hosting retreats here for my business. So much fun.

Awesome property and outstanding accommodations. Dave opens everything up to your group and makes sure you have everything you need. Plenty of beds and industrial kitchen. Awesome bar area upstairs along with outdoor covered hangout area. 10/10 highly recommend.

Such a gorgeous place to stay at! The place had more than enough room to accommodate all of our guests, along with having many different amenities and activities to do on the property. Along with this, the owners were super nice and considerate to all of us!

The bar room was large enough to hold our large family. They loved the bar and pool table.
Our adult grandchildren also liked the workout room, nice variety of equipment. My son and son in laws like the golf course! The casino was a fun place to go for our 21 plus grandchildren.

My family and I gathered here to celebrate Christmas together. (about 25 people) We loved the space and there was room for everyone! It was nice that there were the two levels so adults could still talk while the kids were playing and watching movies. We couldn't have asked for a better place to meet up!! The property is beautiful, and the drive in is scenic. The owners were so gracious to answer our questions when we couldn't find something, and everything we needed was there! Would love to stay again when the weather is warmer!

The facility exceeded all expectations. Gathering spaces for 20 adults and 14 children were exceptional. And the different activities available kept all entertained. The property is beautiful. Wendy & Dave were very responsive to all our needs. I can’t say enough good things about our experience.

It was all we thought it was, we all gathered in the big kitchen and the most popular room was the upper room with the long bar, pool table, couches, chairs, and tables. The deck was also popular loved at all.

There were 35 of us including children and the property was very adequate. We did have a little trouble having enough water supply for running multiple showers but once we learned that we just tried to stagger our showers and water usage. Overall a nice quiet property with plenty of room to spread out. There was plenty to do on the property to keep everyone occupied. Thanks Dave and Wendy for the accommodations! The property suited our needs very well

We had a very nice time with our family. So many things to do. The owner met us and explained everything we needed to know. She responded quickly by text and was so helpful. It was a very special time celebrating our 50th anniversary with our whole family. We played games, golfed, fished, and had other special family activities. Hope to come again some time. Definitely recommend for families.

We were very pleased to find a place that was big enough for 40 people. There were many different spaces for people to hang out, and we got the benefit of snow for sledding and the pond being frozen for skating.
The commercial kitchen was certainly a benefit, and Dave was very helpful in his tour of the place and answering questions as they came up during our stay.

We had a wonderful time. A Family of 32 for Christmas celebration. Owner was there to greet us and give us a tour of the expansive property. We played nine hole frisbee golf. The Big kitchen worked really well for our large group.

Wendy and Dave were wonderful to work with and very accommodating. We had a group of 25 co-workers for a work retreat. It was a great location and amazing setting for our retreat.

This is our second year staying somewhere on the Elk Ridge property. The property is well maintained, plenty to do, and Dave and Wendy are excellent Host.

Wow is all I can say. This property has everything you need and more. Very private and secluded to spend time with your guests. Wendy and Dave were so helpful throughout the whole process. We had my bachelor party here with 20+ people and we had an absolute blast. The bar upstairs was where we spent most of our time hanging out and playing pool. The table rolls great! We are already looking for another excuse to rent this property for another long weekend. Had a party bus take us the short trip to the French Lick Resort for a night, too. 11 out if 10 weekend.

This property is very spacious and property manager response was excellent. We had a great time. The golf course was disappointing as was the frisbee golf - the grounds were not up to par. My advise is if you want a rural house with family/ friend time to bond and enjoy it is the perfect place. If you have “experience golfers” with certain expectations it will be a disappointment.

Great commercial kitchen, lots of sleeping area. Great areas to get away. We brought bunch of fun stuff to do and they had a lot of area for family fun. We brought golf cart, archery, kickball and had our on bingo night. Great family time.!!
