Plenty of space. Several age related/ wear and tare issues most can not be helped and thats ok because it was a nice home. Loved the beach and high tides were amazing!

This is the fourth property we’ve stayed at managed by Jekyll Realty and they really do a great job. Check in is easy. The properties are clean. Communication is great. And if there are any issues they’re quick to take care of them. This particular property was great for our large family of 8, plus 2 dogs. Ample beds for everyone and a large living area kept everyone happy. The beach access directly next to the house was unexpected but a great convenience and made for some nice after dinner walks on the beach, We had some relatives visiting Jekyll at the same time and the living space worked great for shared dinners. We loved this property and have already talked about going ahead and booking the same spot for next year.

Everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. House has a beach view through trees but no direct access. It is an older home but everything was in perfect working order. It felt like we were on the set of the Brady Bunch :-) It was nice to be able to bring our old dog with us. We couldn't have asked for better weather either!

We have 4 dogs that we love to take with us when we travel or go camping. Not only was this property pet friendly, but it was in a great location as well as very spacious and comfortable. We could see the beach from the property (though there are some trees, there is a small path to walk down). The owners of the home had left "dog towels and sheets" that made it easy to clean them up after romping through the sand and to protect the furniture from pet hair. There is a side entrance that is close to a walk in shower, making it easy to rinse off after a walk to the beach. The master bedroom was very spacious with lots of windows and an opening to a rooftop deck. The bed was super comfortable too! The price was very reasonable, especially considering you could comfortably fit more people into the home. The people at the office were super friendly and low key. I definitely want to stay here again!

We had a great stay Seascape! The house is old and the furnishings are outdated but it was perfect for our stay! It had everything we needed and it was so roomy and the beds were very comfortable and you can’t beat the location! I wish the view was better but I know you can’t cut the vegetation at the beachfront. My dogs loved it! The only real negative were the ant beds in the yard (but I have a feeling that is just part of beach living!). Thank you for having us and I can’t wait until my next visit!

Older and slightly is dated is one thing, but Seascape is run-down. Many screens were ripped and falling off. Paint peeling is several rooms (a concern in a house built before 1978 lead paint changes). It was dirty. And we saw cockroaches running up the walls n multiple occasions. I was not pleased that Jekyll Realty carried this rental without some sort of screening, it is not up to standards of past Jekyll Realty rentals.

The pictures were misleading to believe there was beach access from the house. There are fences up, so you cannot access the sand at all directly from the house. I even called when they changed the house on me to make sure I could access the sand from the house and was told I could. When I brought this up at the office, I was told the fences "just went up", but the tour guide said they had been up for months. Felt there should have been some kind of compensation for the misrepresentation.

This is our 4th time staying at the Seascape. We love it here, we have stayed at many different places on Jekyll Island by far this is our favorite for many reasons 1. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need. 2. Plenty of room for large families 3. Love the patio up and down stairs 4. Wi-Fi is excellent 5. We noticed this year the house has be updated with new furnace , A/C unit (made a huge difference) it works great This year the one thing we do not like (which has nothing to do with the house) we could not access the ocean water (but you can access the beach sand the water is on the other side of rocks). They added more rocks and sand so the closes access to the water is 3 streets up (Thorne Road) .

The location was great and the layout of the house worked really well for our needs. We knew the house would be dated, but it really needed some maintenance work. The roof leaked, screen doors to the patio either didn't close or came off of the track easily. There were fixtures that didn't work and some that the bulbs were burnt out with no replacement bulbs. Some of the windows did not open.
The house looked fairly clean when we walked in but there was dirt in corners and a dead roach in the upstairs. Ceiling fans and ledges were filthy! The windows were also very dirty. It appeared that it hadn't had a good deep cleaning in awhile.

We have been coming to Jekyll Island for about 30 years. It is a wonderful place for family vacations. The beach is great and the wildlife amazing.

We had a great weekend. We had everything we wanted here. Ocean views from most rooms as well as from the deck and patio. Well equipped kitchen and great WiFi. We hope to stay here again soon.

We stayed very comfortably in this awesome retro home with four teens, four adults and two dogs with room to spare! Don’t be fooled by the age of this house it is very well maintained and clean. The location is a little farther out from the shops but it’s also very quiet and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this house to my friends and family. We are all ready to go back!!

Although it has not been updated since the 70s (reminded us of the house in the Brady Bunch), the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. This could be a super nice house after kitchen and bath remodels! Due to the shoreline damage from recent hurricanes, we could not access the beach from near the house. This was the case along many of the beach access locations. Clean up was going on steadily and the island will recover given time. I just wish we could have had a longer stay to enjoy a bike ride.

We were only here for 3 days to attend a family wedding on the island, but it was a well needed escape to the ocean. Jekyll is still in the recovery process from hurricane Irma as many of the boardwalks down to the beach are inaccessible due to sand erosion and stair damage from wash out. Once you get down on the beach and sink your toes in the sand, you will forget those minor inconveniences.
