Pro’s Early check in was a bonus, Million dollar view and close to all amenities, building was clean and well kept and the staff of Castle Waikiki were very nice. Con’s We were lead to believe this was a 2 bedroom from the description and pictures at time of booking. They have since changed the pictures so you can barely see the twins beds in the picture with the couch which btw are in the living room area with an accordion room divider. Reviews state that the beds are comfortable - they are NOT - main bedroom king bed, squeaks, is lumpy and all of our backs ached everyone morning in all of the beds, pillows were terrible, wallpaper loosing on the walls, dirty walls, paint chipping off in the main bathroom, shower vents dirty, light in shower didn’t work, roller blind in main bedroom broken, dryer vent not hooked up properly so the dust balls come out and it makes the second bathroom so hot it was like a sauna, old and worn furniture looks like it came from the Golden Girls set, main TV remote broken, end table light broken - the bulb was actually dangling, worn kitchen and bathroom cabinets, very minimal cookware and dinner ware for a family to cook, fry pans Teflon peeling off, all door in the bathrooms and bedrooms are slated so anyone can look into the rooms and sound carrys across the entire condo and the worst thing was we killed 2 cockroaches and 1 escaped. I am usually not a complainer, have stayed in 2 or 3 star hotels but they were not misleading.

The view made everything better!! Great experience. We only had a small issue with the ac and ice maker not working. Unfortunately they never came to fix it for our stay. But it was the best time of our lives.

During my stay, the alarm in the room malfunctioned and was noisy, but it was fixed immediately.

Our 2nd stay in this condo. Just as impressive as last year. Front desk again very responsive to any requests. Small issues were the need for some new pots and pans and some sheets were old enough to have wear spots. This in no way detracted from our great enjoyment of this extremely comfortable and perfectly located condo with fantastic views. Will definitely try for a 3rd stay next year.

Overall, it was an awesome condo. Little things, blinds came out the track, air-conditioning unit leaked water, ice machine and water not working in the fridge, one of the bed frames was not stable, very hard to open door of armoire, but none of those things impeded on the great experience we had on our family vacation. Would stay there again.

The location is great with kayak, snorkeling, and surfing rentals right downstairs. Walks on the beach were enjoyable in the morning and evening. The beach was not crowded and very clean. Overall A++++ and we look forward to our next stay.

We enjoyed our Christmas week at this amazing property. The views are incredible from almost every room. The online pictures look amazing and the reality is that the place is better than the pictures. We enjoyed cooking breakfast in and sitting on patio or ordering take out to sit out on patio.. Only negative would be that beachfront is small and crowded… but that is Waikiki and there is a beach within short walk that is bigger. Staff at front desk are very responsive and helpful. Overall amazing place to stay!

The views from 360 degree windows are stunning! The condo is updated and well appointed. It was very clean. The master bed is very comfortable. We also loved the corner extended balconies. The remotely operated ACs and window shades are a plus! I highly recommend this unit and would defiantly stay there again!

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very helpful front desk staff. Hard to find enough superlatives to describe the expansive views over the water and of the nighttime city skyline. Perfect water's edge location. Easy walking to groceries, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Hope to be back soon.

Amazing property! Management replied quickly when I sent a question. It was easy to extend our stay when the extra time became available! They were really very helpful throughout the stay, as well. When we needed new supplies (i.e. trash liners, dish soap, toilet paper, e.t.c.) it arrived within 20 minutes. They apologized when we discovered that the dishwasher was broken and a new one was ordered from the mainland. Because the kitchen was so modern and view so beautiful, we ate in for every meal. Huge refrigerator kept our alcohol cold as well. Plenty of pots and pans. Our only suggestion would be a sunscreen on the balcony to provide some filtered shade from the brutal sun in the afternoon. Surprisingly, only one unit facing the ocean had one.

Great location, views, property, and beach. There needs to be a door between the bathroom and master bedroom. Love Castle Shores Waikiki!

This property was MAGNIFICENT. Best layout, beautifully appointed, more beautiful in person. When I go again, my family all agrees we'll plan our vacation around this apartment's availability. You will never find a more desireable location or view. We absolutely loved staying here and much much less than a comparable hotel would be. We felt at home.

We were very surprised at how run down the area was in many places and the amount of homeless people in the area. The condo was wonderful, and loved the steak shack. We did enjoy our stay but was glad to get away to Captain Cook in a more secluded location. We’re not about the party scene so Waikiki wasn’t for us.

The beautiful view made our stay wonderful! I would stay in this unit again for that reason alone. The check in process was a bit unclear. The parking near the lobby is very tight and there was construction going out front. When we arrived after a very long day of travel from the east coast (US), the driveway was blocked by work vehicles, so that was frustrating. It was unclear where to park to check in. Once we were checked in we were able to park in parking garage. My biggest complaint about our stay, we paid a big cleaning fee, but yet were told we had to wash all of our towels and sheets, due to COVID. We all were tested and negative with armbands from our airline. We had proof of negative test results. So I feel that was ridiculous. (We had another rental during our stay and that was not the policy. Since this was the policy at Castle Waikiki, then the cleaning fee should be cut in half!) The washer and dryer are inadequate and we had to get up a 5am to do laundry and still were not finished at 9 am. This made us late to our scheduled tour! (We only had 2 sets of sheets and 2 sets of towels) These are the only issues we had. Other than that I can say we loved the location. We could walk to restaurants and shopping. Waking up to the view every morning was amazing!

I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Waikiki. The condo is nicely furnished and comfortable. The location and views are absolutely stunning. Ocean and beach views on three sides, almost entirely unobstructed. Watch the sun rise and set from the kitchen table. Worth every dollar.
