The location was fantastic - it’s so close to the tram, a supermarket, cafe’s etc. and the facilities were great. It was handy having two bathrooms, an equiped kitchen and laundry facilities. The view was definitely the stand out!!
The booking was for six persons based on the description being for two beds and a fold out bed. In reality I would describe the third bed as a futon, with one side of the futon being on an angle and therefore making it impossible for two people to comfortably sleep. Also I found the bedding insufficient for the futon with only a sheet and a mink blanket, meaning you had to either be touching the couch itself or the blanket which is unhygienic. We were provided with a doona on request. Overall, the apartment would be great for four or maybe five people but definitely not six.

The apartment we stayed opened up to the Yarra river view, the apartment was clean and had everything one would need for a short stay. Shops and restaurants are a stone throw away and major attractions are only short distance. Uber was easy to get. I would had given a 5 star if only the booking was managed properly. Unlike many other accommodation in the precincts, they don’t offer any free cancellation, it was a nightmare to process the bond money as their system kept on rejecting the bond payment. When we contacted the management and wanted to pay onsite after arrival, we were first assured that this can be done but later told us there will be no one to process the payment and they will not give access until the bond money is processed. We prepaid about $1100 and the bond was $300. Surely they could had given us access to the property and settle the bond money the next morning. We were driving 700km from home and in the mid way had uncertainty of a accommodation we paid for, they have caused us a lot of stress.

The stay with “the luxurious” Pars apartments isn’t luxurious at all. Rosie one of the person whom we came in the contact for the property is very very rude and unruly towards their customers which has surely did leave us shocked. They had hard pillows as rocks to sleep on, water doesn’t come till 11 in the morning, spider webs around the house, in the balcony the floor is shaking because tiles are not fitted properly and without a doubt we were injured too, they don’t guide properly as to how to enter the lobby and when put an email towards the same they forget to reply for a week and when called Rosie shouts at us and hangs up the phone while we were speaking. Pathetic experience, can’t even call it an experience it was so bad and poor from their end.

The views of The Docklands and Melbourne were amazing. Loved how the many Melbourne sights were easily accessed by public transport from your door.

The apartment was overall exceptional. We are a family of 5 and the apartment still felt spacious.The location is excellent, in the free Tram zone, and it is extremely easy to get around. Seemed a relatively new complex, swimming pool was really good, and the concierge staff helpful and attentive.
