Cozy Golden Isles River View Home
Nuestra casa está en el río Tortuga, a veces vemos delfines desde la ventana de nuestro comedor. El apartamento que va a reservar es todo el piso de arriba, que está completamente separado de nuestra zona de la planta baja. La única forma de acceder al apartamento es por la escalera exterior que ves en la imagen. La puerta roja en la parte superior de la escalera exterior es tu puerta de entrada.
Usted tiene una hermosa vista del río. Hay un muelle público a unos 300 pies por la pasarela que corre a lo largo del río frente a la casa. Puedes pescar desde este muelle. Pronto tendremos nuestro propio muelle en el río justo en frente de nuestra casa.
Es un hermoso entorno entre robles vivos.
Estamos a unos 20 min. Desde las famosas islas St. Simon's y Jekyll Island.

This upstairs apartment is like walking into your grandmother’s house. Antique furniture, quaint, decor, and very comfortable. It feels like home.

Commuting from South to North. Perfect stop over. Nothing fancy but perfect for our needs… including a massage chair! Also pretty view.

The location of the apartment on the river is nice and there is a lot of space. I liked the massage chair!. The bed was comfortable. The cleaners need to know that they need to clean the baseboards. A deep cleaning would be a good thing to do for this place. The shower head needs to be replaced. It is in very bad shape.

The apartment met our needs for our one night stay along our driving route. Although there is a lot of noise from being close to highway 95 and the fan in the living room, it was very quiet and peaceful in the bedroom with the door closed.
We did a walk along the water, a few geocaches and had a nice dinner at Gnat's Landing in St. Simons Island.

Golden Isles is a perfect stop over on the way to visit grandkids in Florida. Brunswick has nice restaurants and is not far from Jekyll Island if you love the ocean. Quiet place even though close to 95. Mary and Frank are welcoming hosts.

It was a very nice stay. I was only in town for two days, but this is a great alternative to the hotel on Jekyll Island if you're attending a conference. It's close and you can avoid the high rates. Clean a very comfortable.

This was a perfect stop for us, breaking up our trip back to NC from Florida. The apartment was quiet and comfortable, in a beautiful neighborhood with big trees, Spanish moss and a view of the water. The dolphin statue and massage chair were nice bonuses! I wish we could have stayed longer but I enjoyed drinking my coffee by the water before we headed home. Definitely recommend, much nicer alternative to a hotel.

After eating out a lot during my trip, it was nice to have a kitchen to cook for myself.
The toaster oven and hot plate were enough to whip up some nice meals.

Mary and Larry were great host. No problems at all. We were moving our son back home and had a trailer. We were able to unhook it and go to Jekyll Island and the area for the day. Beautiful neighborhood. We loved waking up in the morning and looking out over the river drinking our coffee. Even though the interstate is near by, you'd never know. Definitely would stay here again.

This is a great location to the islands so that’s a plus, owners are nice to talk with plus, things that bothered me was the low light in bathroom and in kitchen as when you do dishes it is dark, drawers in bedroom dresser were already full so had know place to unpack our suitcases, mattress was just ok and lots of household stuff that added clutter

Quiet upstairs apartment. The river view from the living room window is enjoyable. We saw dolphins one afternoon during our three night stay. Apartment is clean and comfortable. There is no TV but it was good for us to disconnect for a few days from TV. Met Mary upon check in who was very nice.

My husband and I enjoyed a 2 night stay at this property. It was in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views and a walkway along the waters edge. The apartment had all the comforts of home with the perfect room temperature at all times. Bed was comfortable. We recommend this location for anyone who has physical ability to go up & down stairs, as this property is on the upper level of the home. The hosts are friendly and available when needed.

Beautiful property. The apartment floors were quite uneven which was a bit disconcerting, but everything else was lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area.
