Location was fantastic. I didn't realize what a busy square it was. Walking distance to all the major locations. The apt had plenty of room for 6 people. The beds were ok. Back bedroom could use a new mattress. There was some wear and tear to the apt. Mold in the air vent in master bedroom. The showers were amazing. Owners were very responsive with any concerns.

Lots of tours go by the apt. We thought the windows were open because you can hear everything and every conversation outside. Drunk people at night screaming. I realized what the additional floor fans were for, to help muffle the outside noises. That was the biggest downfall. So, sleep was hard to come by.

The location was incredible; close to resturants and shops. The views were peaceful. It was nice to do a load of laundry. The decor was lovely. The entire flat was very well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the towels were large and thick. It was fun to have so much space- walking into the front door was a "wow" experience.

This is just a matter of policy I know, and it's part of the deal when you book a place like this, but I would have liked to have more people or stay longer to justify the $190.00 cleaning fee. That was a lot of money for a couple that used only a small part of the space, didn't cook, and spent only one night. It would have been worth it if we had used even one more bedroom/ bathroom or used the kitchen for more than coffee and wine glasses. As it was, we needed the room for the night and this was a wonderful treat to ourselves.

Bugs, mold, mildew, deactivated smoke detectors, dirty mattresses, gross furniture, doors that don’t lock

The pros: the master bedroom is bright and large (although again, furnished with a lumpy and stained mattress), the living room looks over the park (although there are no curtains so everyone from the street can see inside) and the location is great with easy street parking that is inexpensive.

This apartment is not "newly" renovated. The floors were scratched, the cabinets were dented, and there was MOLD. There are moldy vents in the kitchen, water damage in 2 bedrooms, and there was mold on the walls in the bedroom (along w/ a mildew smell). During our stay, it rained for an hour, and we saw it dripping from the ceiling. We could not use the 2nd bedroom because of the mold and lack of windows for ventilation. And we also couldn't use the 3rd bedroom for 2 safety concerns. First, there was mold. Second, there was a balcony door that did not lock. That is a SERIOUS safety concern. Because the door leads to a 2nd-floor balcony (easy to access from the street), we were scared of sleeping and leaving our belongings in the apt. We barricaded the door, but it was insufficient and prohibited us from using the balcony. Also, there is only 1 smoke detector in the entire apartment - surely a safety code violation. The apartment was not renovated. It seems the owners threw in old furniture from yard sales. The mattresses are gross. When we removed the sheets, we saw the surfaces were stained and even ripped. They were also lumpy. It was gross. Because we couldn't use one of the bedrooms due to mold, my husband slept on the couch while I shared the master room w/ my toddler. My husband ended up covered in bug bites from the nasty stained couch. The furniture was mismatched. For example, the kitchen table had 2 chairs and 2 high-top stools. The stools were as high as the table so it was impossible to sit on them. The building is a brownstone that was converted into apartments. The apts above and below are also rentals so expect noise. It is an old building so there is NO sound barrier b/w the units. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs and a sound machine. The apartment is falsely advertised. The bathrooms are new, but the bedrooms have not been renovated, 2 are moldy and dark, the furniture is sinful, and there are bugs.

Excellent space for our Bachelorette weekend. It is in a good walking distance from the main strip. Parking was accessible, and it was worth it to get the weekend parking passes.

Location is perfect.

Could provide more towels/hand towels for guests.
