Very relaxing with an absolutely gorgeous view of the canyon. The sunrises were spectacular!

We arrived and instantly was taken away by the breath taking views. The pictures in VRBO do not do it justice. The house is spotless, well maintained, has everything you need. Unfortunately we had to leave after 1 night bc hurricane Beryl hit our home and a 100' tree fell on our house back in Houston. We had to leave immediately the morning after arriving. We were heart broken not to get to hike and explore the area and enjoy such a wonderful property. We are already planning a return visit in the fall.

Cliffside was perfect in every way. The view was really to die for. The grill, hot tub, ac, game room were all totally functional. The kitchen had so many beautiful touches that made this place a perfect stay. We felt so comfortable staying here and have great memories of family fun that will last through the eternities. Our stay was wonderful! Everything in the house was super clean. The views were amazing!! David called us before we checked in to just check on us. One day we had an issue where we couldn’t get into the gated community and David quickly fixed it for us. He was extremely attentive to any questions we had. We loved being able to watch the sun rise and set over the canyon. Such a calm and relaxing vacation. Would love to stay here again!

We stayed at this house the weekend our sons graduated from WT. it was a busy weekend and I wished we had more time to spend at this house. The view was just beautiful. The house was perfect and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own food. We will be planning another visit to Canyon just to stay at this house.

Our stay was too short. We flew in Friday night and left before dawn on Sunday. The house is perfect. The hot tub dissolved the 12 hours of travel quickly. The view from the picture window actually took my breath away. One small issue was quickly dealt with. Would highly recommend this house for anyone.

The view into Palo Dura Canyon was outstanding! You have the view from the dining room, kitchen, living room, deck, and hot tub. Watching the sunrise was magical. It is a spacious property with lots of fun activities. It is very close to the State Park enterance.

Beautiful home situated on the cliffs overlooking Palo Duro Canyon with great outdoor spaces and all the inside comforts of home. Relax on the outdoor swing or hammock after a great day of hiking in the canyon. At night the skies turn to stars as you can relax in the hot tub. We will be back!

We had a great time in the state park enjoying various hiking trails. This was a great home with a splendid view of the canyon, the perfect place for us to unwind in the evenings. Kitchen was well equipped and all beds were comfortable. Ping pong and shuffleboard were also a bonus.

We had the best stay at Cliffside. It was my family of 5 plus grandparents- there was plenty of room for everyone. We opted to stay in and cook our meals. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The view is stunning and there are so many fun games for the kiddos and adults. The home was very clean and had all the essentials. Beds are comfy. This truly felt like a home away from home!

Description of "stunning canyon views" is an understatement!! We loved everything about the house and it was very comfortable for our family of eight people. The guest contact was very responsive and incredibly thoughtful. We appreciated all of his helpful info and restaurant recommendations, especially Green Chile Willy's chicken fried steak! If we return to the area we will definitely be hoping this house is available.

The house has been wonderfully updated with huge windows that give you an amazing view of the canyon. Also there is a nice toasty hot tub on the patio and again, with canyon views. Wonderful property. Also, for anyone staying here, I heartily recommend the local mercantile - the Sad Monkey - for coffee, craft beer, and essential hiking and camping items.

We stayed at this property over a long weekend and had an amazing visit. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The view from the deck is amazing, that's where we spent most of our time. Internet and TV worked well. Kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of space for a group, and lots of activities. The proximity to the park was unbeatable. We were able to access the hiking trails in the park within about 10-15 minutes drive of the property. I would highly recommend this property and would strongly consider staying here again if we return to the area.

Fantastic property right on the Canyon. Back porch overlooking canyon faces east, so you get a perfect sunrise view every morning. The house is spacious, with plenty of room for the four adults in our group. Everything was clean and working perfectly. The house is located inside a gated community, so we felt very safe. Easy five minute drive to the State Park and about 10 minutes back to town. Perfect spot for our vacation. We will be back!

We were all overwhelmed by the location, home, and hospitality of the owner of this place. We plan on being regulars and the 8 hours we drove to be there was well worth it. We got to hike and see some wild life and the people living in the community was also kind.

The house was perfect. Large enough for 4 adult males. We were hoping to get as much hiking and biking in 2 days as we could. It seemed after the first full day, 2 days are not enough to take in all Palo Duro has to offer. Look forward to next years trip, thank you to David for being so easy to get a hold of and more than accommodating to slight changes in our reservation. This is surely a perfect spot to stay being less than 5 mins from the front gate of park. Loved It.

Great property. The view is unreal. Nice house very functional for a family and has everything you need. Hut tub and foosball, ping pong, shuffleboard were fun touches. Kitchen is fully stocked and well organized and the grill is also great. Loved sitting and just watching sunset and sunrise over the canyon. Perfect.

Cliffside house was a very comfortable place for our family (age range: 4 1/2 - 69) to explore Palo Duro, Canyon, and Amarillo. The view from the house is mind-boggling! The kitchen was well-equipped with cooking essentials including utensils, pots, spices, coffee, tea and popcorn. We enjoyed the ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball and board games. The hot tub was great for muscles tired from hiking. The host's suggestions of trails and restaurants were quite helpful. We enjoyed the dark skies for star gazing and were lucky to catch a couple of nighttime thunderstorms across the canyon. Beautiful!
We hope to return to Palo Duro and would love to stay at Cliffside again. Thanks for sharing your great house with us.

Top notch property with an attentive and thoughtful host. This home is clean, spacious, comfortable, and has all the amenities one needs for a relaxing stay. The view is breathtaking and can be enjoyed outside on the porch or inside through the floor to ceiling picture windows. The neighborhood was peaceful, quiet, and easy to get in and out of. The game room kept the kiddos entertained, and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after a long day of hiking in the canyon. The owner was easy to communicate with and gave great advice on where to eat and hike. I highly recommend staying here and hope to do so again in the future. Thanks again for a memorable stay!
