We stayed here for our daughter's graduation weekend and it worked perfectly. We had plenty of room to spread out vs. staying in a hotel room, and it was easy to get back and forth from campus.

Our group absolutely loved our time at the Elm House! Our group of friends reuniting together for the weekend enjoyed all of the amenities on offer, especially the hot tube! The house was very spacious for our groups and fully furnished with everything to cook and grill within the house. We were also impressed by the amount of towels and linens available for our stay. The hot tub robes were a nice bonus too! Unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the woods around the property, but the whole area looked beautiful. Also within close distance to Oliver Winery and Bloomington to explore either! Would highly recommend this property and we would stay there again!

We had a great time at Elm House. A group of 7 moms escaping for the weekend. Went to Nashville for the day. House was equiped with kitchen supplies and bathroom towels and was very clean. Plenty of seats for everyone to sit and enjoy our time away.
Our biggest regret was not getting out on the trail behind the house!!!

My family lives in Ohio and we meet up regularly with friends who live in Illinois. We split the distance and find places to stay in central Indiana. Our kids are 9 and 6 so we look for places that lend themselves to outdoor adventures. This has been one of our favorites. There are many well-marked trails on the property, streams good for exploring, and a few "nature observation posts" (hunting blinds) to climb. in addition, the laserdisc collection was outstanding. We were able to show the kids the original Star Wars movies as they were before Lucas started tinkering with them. The 9-year-old is also recently obsessed with the 1960s musical Camelot and did a dance of joy when she found it in the library. Amazing.
The house itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking. The hot tub was appreciated after some long hikes.

We throughly enjoyed our stay and family time. Would definitely rent again, hopefully in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors, large yard, and the seating areas.

We booked this for IU’s homecoming football game. It is a short distance from the stadium and provides a relaxing location to come back to after the busy game!

Family Vacation
Our family enjoyed our stay. Highlights included the fire pit, the hot tub, and the hiking. The house had everything you could need: plenty of sheets and towels, dishes, appliances, and lots of room for the 7 of us.

Weekend
Our weekend was wonderful but too fast. Trail was easy to navigate. Cooked out on the grill and enjoyed the back deck. Fenced back yard so no worries about kids. Played games and a few used the hot tub. A very enjoyable weekend!

Very secluded, nice, clean, well maintained.
Was a great getaway, loved the lazer disc player with all the old 80's and 90"s movies, enjoyed the hot tub. The only negative thing was the drive, the roads from little Nashville aren't the greatest but every thing at the house was above and beyond what I expected, if you're looking for a nice quiet place to relax this is it.

Property was adequate but very far off the beaten path. Could not get uber service and very dark winding roads leading to property. Just be aware as I would not want to make this drive in the winter.

Relaxing Stay
The house had plenty of space inside and out. The trails near the house were nice to explore. Everyone really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the night. The house was clean and well stocked with towels and robes.

Weekend Getaway
We stayed here for a weekend for IU's homecoming football game. The property was about 15 to 20 minutes away from Bloomington and easy to get to. It was very nice to come back to a relaxing location after being at the busy football game.

We had an absolute blast! Robert was always quick to reply to me and the Josie is absolutely beautiful: even better and bigger than the pictures. We had so much fun and we plan on booking again in the future!

Quiet getaway
Loved this house. Quiet no matter the time of day. Forest was excellent to walk through and explore. Tho the creek wasn’t flowing it was still real cool to check out!

Great place for college girlfriends long weekend
This space was very clean and highly functional! Lots of space, great backyard with a fire pit and hot tub. Wish we had more time because we loved relaxing on the propert but also there is so much nearby - a beach, hiking trails, winery and cute nashville downtown area! I would recommend for nature lovers and friends wanting to just catch up lounging around cooking etc.

Great House
We had such a wonderful stay! This home is beautiful and relaxing! During our stay the storms got rough, the owner reached out with a basement for us, if we wanted. He was so thoughtful and you can see it it his home!

Nature abounds!
This property does not disappoint! Extremely clean with everything you need for your stay. Beautiful nature trails, privacy, plenty of space inside and out. The pictures are accurate of this property. We didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub or the fire pit, because the weather did not cooperate during our visit. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Elm House
The house was very clean. I had plenty of space for the 7 of us. The worse thing was the distance to Nashville, In and the road to get there. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay and don’t want to leave it is the perfect place to stay.

Refreshing weekend away
My husband and I took our 4 kids (ages 3-11) here for a spring weekend away from Indianapolis. Everything was very clean and in good condition. The area felt very safe to let the kids play outside. We really enjoyed walking in the woods and the hot tub under the clear night sky was so relaxing! We also enjoyed wine tasting just a few minutes drive away.

Elm House Weekend
House was older, but was clean and off the beaten path. We enjoyed our stay. There was a little too many special rules, that made the stay a little uneasy. And a high cleaning fee, when you are expected to do much of the cleanup yourself. That said, we did enjoy the property. Bob would respond quickly thru text messages, would answer within a few minutes. I would recommend it to others.

Surrounded by nature
Spacious home with lots of outdoor amenities. Love the balcony off the master bedroom. It made birdwatching easy. During our four-day stay, we saw 25 different species from the balcony! Comfy and quiet!

Other than a large blood stain on a bedspread and a nail sticking up in a doorway threshold, it was a great stay.
