Our stay at this beautiful home was nothing short of perfection! This was a family vacation with our children and grandchildren. Six adults and four children - ages 13 to 21 months. The home is beautiful, spotless and provided numerous spaces to gather separately and together. When we weren't at the beach or the boardwalk, we had the pool table, ping pong table and outdoor pool to keep both the adults and children busy - and having a blast! In fact, we found ourselves spending more time at "home" rather than going out! The house is located on the north end of Virginia Beach in a beautiful residential neighborhood. Location was perfect as we could walk to the beach in 5 minutes or make a quick drive (10 minutes at most) to the boardwalk where there was a lot of action. Best of both worlds! The host, Maria, was very responsive with all communication. Our experience was 10/10 and we highly recommend booking this incredible property.

This property is perfect for large families to relax ,enjoy all the amenities that Maria offers in her beautiful home.
All the rooms are beautifully appointed and the kitchen is well stocked with whatever appliance you may need.
Maria has also supplied many options for fun activities and the location is great (2 blocks from the beach)with ample parking.
We had a wonderful time and would love to return.

Only downside is 2 bedrooms have double beds, which we knew about, but queens are better! 😉😉😉

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. Although the weather wouldn't cooperate for a portion of this week, it didn't prevent us from having a great time in the saltwater pool. The accommodations were absolutely splendid. We had more than enough space to spread out for down time and great spaces (main floor kitchen, dining, sitting area or the basement TV, billiards, bar area) to enjoy each other's company. The kitchen hits the mark in size, well-appointed appliances, and all the "necessities" to cook any meal for a large family. The use of the beach wheelbarrow definitely came in handy and was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this property for a family vacation and look forward to booking this location again for our next Virginia Beach vacation.

We had a wonderful time at the house with our family (including two young kids). The house is just a short few blocks from the beach and comes fully equipped with just about anything you’ll need— including beach gear. The pool too was fantastic. Would highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay. House was exactly as described, spotless, and beautifully appointed. Loved the pool and all the outdoor seating. Just a quick walk to a very clean and quiet beach (note you do have to cross a busy street). Far enough away from the downtown area to be peaceful but quick enough to get there to enjoy the boardwalk. Lots of little touches in the house to make it kid/teen friendly like the music system, games, etc. having the second washer/dryer was genius. host was super responsive to questions. Even our pup had a blast!

Very nice place.
Very clean, very quiet, and very convenient to the beach as well as the downtown area.
The sound system was so nice and we utilized it the entire week.
Communication with the property manager could not have been better.

The home was very nice! Nice size pool in the back yard. Beach is a 5 minute walk, with a nice cart in the garage for your beach necessities. Bedrooms are nice, especially the king bedroom. Lots of room in the house too!

The place is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It was beautiful and clean and close to the ocean. Our favorite part was the pool of course. Everything was within driving distance and not far away. The host was very responsive anytime we had a question. One suggestion I would make is with the sound system, it’s a great system but for the technically challenged I would suggest a guide at the house that gives directions for it, other then that the place was amazing and I hope to stay there again I’m the future.

The owners went through great length to make this house feel like home and more! There are so many spaces to gather together or just catch some quiet time and each one was well thought out and designed to bring relaxation and serenity. The location is a few blocks from an entrance to First Landing State Park. It's an easy walk to hike, bike, or enjoy the beach by the bay. The oceanfront is also one short block and easy to travel with the beach buggy that is provided. We all wish we had another week to stay!

Perfect Beach House
This is without a doubt the nicest pet-friendly house we've stayed in. We had 6 people and a dog and it was perfect. The pool is so fun. We didn't spend much time at the beach because of the heat but it was a quick walk from the house. The house has a large beach cart that made it easy to get chairs and other gear to the beach. The owners are great. They have put a lot of work in to making sure that the renters have everything they need to enjoy their stay and responded to all questions quickly. Will definitely rent this house again.

Best Beach Vacation Ever
The actual written Vrbo looked very good but the actual experience of staying at Summer Breeze was more than excellent !!! From the ease with check in procedure to actual check out there was no problems at all. Summer Breeze was extremely well kept and beech looking . We traveled with 3 generations the youngest being 18 months old. He actually did very well with a pack and play set up in master bedroom closet where it was dark and quiet. proximity to beach was very close indeed , just a short stroll. Also very thankful for beach buggy , chairs and beach toys that were readily available in garage.
The bonus was being able to bring our pet dog who had a wonderful time at the beach and also walking along the service road that is easily accessible for biking and just an evening stroll.
There was plenty of room for everyone and much entertainment offered with pool table, ping pong table and pool.

Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, and towels. Enough cookware , dishes and glasses with the bonus of plastic glassware for pool area.

The house was great but two of the beds were terrible (master bedroom & the queen on the 1st floor.
We liked the house and the location but the beds were unsat in both the master and 1st floor room with the queen bed. The ice maker was detracted from our sleep at night because of the noise!

Beautiful home
This is a well-decorated home which does not feel like a typical beach house. The pool is wonderful and really allows you to extend your day after time on the beach. The home is on a very quiet street which worked well for my three girls and myself. It may not be a great fit for a larger, louder family as the neighbors are very watchful (and not all are friendly). This property may be best for a well-behaved group of older adults.

Vacation Perfection
I needed a place to get away, relax and enjoy the beach. The location is perfect--one block to the beach in a lovely neighborhood with friendly people. It's about 30 mins walking to the major hotels but a quick 5 min drive (hotels and boardwalk). The house has it all! It's beautiful and well appointed with every amenity you could want. The pool is a huge plus! It was my morning swim and afternoon relaxation. If you bring your dog, the back yard is fenced so you don't have to worry about them wandering off. There is a nearby feeder road where everyone walks, jogs, rides their bikes and walks their dogs. Edgar Cayce spa and restaurant (Graze) are 2 blocks away; highly recommend their services and delicious food. The owners were also amazing; very quick in responding to any questions that I had.
I hope to return next year for another getaway! I actually hated to leave!!!

Awesome house, great location!
We loved this house! First time vacationing to Virginia beach and we loved it. We had 2 families in our group ( 4 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs!) We had plenty of room to spread out. The house beautiful. It was large and very clean. We spent our days between the beach and the pool. The beach was nice and very quiet ( not busy at all like down by the hotels) and a short walk. We had a couple rainy days, but the house had alot to keep us entertained ( tons of board games, ping pong table and pool table). The location of the house was great, on quiet street with friendly neighbors. it's only a 5 minute drive down to the boardwalk. Owners were great to communicate with, very responsive if we had a question. Highly recommend this house if you are looking for a nice quiet beach vacation with family or friends. We would definitely rent again! Thank you!

This home exceeded our expectations! The pictures do not do it justice! It was very clean and had everything we needed and more for our week stay at the beach. FABULOUS PLACE!!
Awesome property and is exactly like the photos! The owners have everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, at the beach and indoor recreation like billiards and ping pong. They have a outdoor pool and plenty of outdoor patio furniture that would be great to use in warm weather. Beach very close. Very roomy for six of us plus our dog. Definitely stay here again!

Great proximity to the beach
Just the size house we were looking for, for our family of 7+ a newborn. Very open floor plan. We stayed over Thanksgiving, so ample supplies for our family dinner. But it definitely a great place if you want to be close to Virginia Beach and close to the state park and all it has to offer.
We had a couple of minor issues that I brought up to the owner and she was very accommodating to my concerns and all was taken care of.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Easily the nicest beach rental we have experienced in Va. Beach. The home is stylishly decorated with quality furnishings. Mattress quality is good and kitchen is well equipped. We will certainly rent again when we are in the area!

This home was better than expected and the pictures don’t compare to actually being there in person! An absolute goldmine. Went down with family and my toddler daughter. The home was spotless when we got there, very spacious and fully stocked to enjoy the week. At night we we’re able to put the little one to bed and enjoy the house, without her able to hear a peep. We will be back in the future

We had a great vacation while staying in this beautiful, well equipped and clean home that accommodated 10 guests. The host was very accessible and responded instantly to any questions we had. The neighborhood is very quiet and only a 5 minute drive to the the boardwalk area and a short walk to the beach. There is a beach wagon, umbrellas and chairs provided. We truly recommend this five star property for a relaxing and memorable vacation at Virginia Beach.

Wonderful Stay!
The house was great. We were just outside of all the action which made it a peaceful but convenient location! The house was equipped with all we needed to cook meals and store leftovers. The bottom level was lots of fun for the kiddos and adults as well. My only suggestion would be that the owners put a tv in the big den on the second level as that was the most widely congregated area in the whole house because its attached to the kitchen besides the pool area. Other then that, house was absolutely wonderful and very accomidating for our large family!
