This lakefront home is a dream to visit! The hosts were reachable and even sent reminders so we’d know when to put trash cans out. They had organized manuals, labeled light switches, and a kitchen stocked for all cooking. It couldn’t have been a better experience. And the lake! Oh my goodness. It is gorgeous, the dock is large and stable, and the water is deep enough there for fishing. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you, Larry and Stuart, for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us.

I don't know how I was so lucky to find such a perfect rental but I'm grateful I did. The house was exactly as it was portrait. The owners were so good about answering any questions I had. I wouldn't hesitate to rent here again!

This property was even better than I expected, and I expected a lot from online pictures. We went to leaf peep, and the colors were very good although just past peak. We had a problem with a malfunction of the water heater the final day of our stay, but the owners gave us a partial refund without us asking for it! We expect to stay here again in the future.

The property was just as described and very comfortable. It is really a beautiful spot and very quiet when we were there. The kitchen is one of the best equipped for a rental I've experienced. Really enjoyed the visit and hope to come again.

We absolutely loved staying at this home. It’s a spacious house and extremely well stocked. Anything we could possibly need was there. The owners, Larry and Stuart were very responsive. They always got back to me immediately. They provide thorough instructions about the house. A lot of what makes a stay pleasant are the hosts. We loved fishing off the dock. We caught lots of fish, and we released them all back.
My husband and I truly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the back deck that overlooks the lake. Our nights were cozy by the fire pit making S’mores.
We used their kayaks when not fishing. So much fun!
We have rented 5 different homes (either my daughter or me) on Lake Sacandaga over the years. This home is in the top 2!

My family and I had a fantastic stay in the spacious and well equipped lake side home. Pros are amazing view of lake and mountains, direct access to dock and water for swimming and boating, great kitchen with great space for the kids to play or lounge downstairs. Use of the water toys/floats and fireplace was a great added plus. We created some great memories on this lake and in this house during our stay this July.

This was the most beautiful home I have stayed in at Sacandaga Lake in 30 years. The property surrounding the home is gorgeous and the view is outstanding. Can’t wait to return!!

We had a great weekend and really enjoyed relaxing and playing at this house. It had everything we needed and we were impressed with how well stocked it was compared to other places we've stayed. There was plenty of room for everyone and very comfortable. We hope to return.

The house is spacious and very livable. We found everything we needed for an enjoyable visit. The view from the deck is stunning. The kitchen is well equipped and the furnishings are comfortable. It is a house waiting to entertain a big family.

Beautiful lakefront property!! Had everything we needed, plus more! Enjoyed sitting on the deck each morning/evening. Quiet, relatively secluded neighborhood. Communication with owner was good. They provided very thorough rules/guidelines for our stay. Would definitely recommend and I can't wait to go back!

We were looking for a peaceful family vacation where we could be close to beautiful scenery, and this was perfect. Right on the lake with beautiful sunrises. Close to plenty of mountain hiking. Or a perfect house to stay and relax in/around. The homeowners were easy to reach and quick to help out with any questions that arose. We highly recommend!

The property had everything we needed to get away for a few days. The view is fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped and has a ton of cookware for any style of cooking you may do. The large walk in shower is great with tons of natural light coming through the window (which also has a lake view) as well as the skylight above’ and another skylight in the kitchen as well.’ Being late winter and cold, we spent a lot of time playing table tennis, foos ball, laughing at each other, played board games, cards, listened to music with cocktails next to a warm, cozy fire! Hoping to get back here in warmer weather to take advantage of the lower patio, and upper deck. We did get dinner to go the first night from the restaurant two miles away. It was really good with very large portions and friendly staff. A wonderful home with owners who love and appreciate their property. Our adult son is already on board with going back with us the next time. Thank you Larry and Stuart for sharing your lovely property with us. Hope to see you again soon! Audrey and Bob Chagnon, VT.

The house has everything you could ask for and more. Amazing views, water access, entertainment space, kitchen amenities, privacy, and comfort, are all just a few of the features of this amazing rental. The owners took great care to ensure the house was well equipped and appointed for any group staying here. The pictures do not do the house justice. I look forward to staying here again anytime of year.

Best trip to ADK we’ve ever had
We loved staying here on Great Sacandaga. Every room has a beautiful view of the lake. The house is very well-equipped. We’ve rented other places and have found only one pan to cook with and a handful of plates. This is not the case with this home! If you need it, it’s most likely there. Our kids loved jumping off the dock and using the kayaks. The ping pong table got lots of us as well. It’s close to Northville, which is a cute small town with a Tops, Walgreens, and really nice little bake shop, ice cream, pizzeria, and an old five and dime store (kids loved it). Would definitely recommend and stay again

Our 40 th Anniversary
The house and setting was beautiful and well kept up . We had never rented a lake house before so it was an amazing way to spend our anniversary with friends and family !! We’ll be coming back next year .

Everything was truly fantastic. We lost power due to the crazy storm, the property owners were really great in doing everything possible to mitigate the situation. We will definitely stay here again if renting in the area.

This was a perfect family get away. Hosts were very accommodating and the house was absolutely gorgeous. House had every amenity we could think of.
