Loved the inground pool and socializing on the patio. The outside needed some bee treatment . My daughter got stung coming in the front door. There were bees nest all around the door. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

The pool and ping ping table were a hit among the kids. There is only a tv in the master bedroom. Carbondale is pretty spread out but the location of the house made everything pretty easy to get to.

This was our second time staying here. The property is exactly as advertised and the perfect get away for a family that included 3 generations. The house was big enough that everyone had their space if needed and we loved sitting out by the pool. Also the ping pong table was a hit for us.

This is a beautiful house. There are areas where repair is needed, however it did not negatively affect our stay on any way. Clean, quiet, excellent location and most of all, we were incredibly comfortable.

This is a very relaxing comfortable home. The outside pergola/backyard/pool area is fantastic. This was our third year there and we are going back next year. That is the best endorsement.

Neighborhood and home were lovely and really enjoyed the pool. Home and pool need a little TLC (which signs assured us would be coming soon). I would suggest new mattresses in all but the master bedroom and perhaps a handrail for the pool stairs. Overall we had a great time and would return for another visit!

We stayed there with some friends, had a wonderful time in the pool and the basement games! Easy check in, fast responses, everything looked very clean!
Only things I would say, there were a bunch of fruit flies and flies when we got there, it might have just been the previous people not closing doors, but a dehumidifier might help with that since the pool is right there.
The kitchen cabinets do smell older, they’re clean, just have that smell that reminds me of my grandma’s house.
Only other thing would have been good to have a heads up that the pool cleaning lady was coming at 9pm. My husband was ready to defend us against whoever drove in the driveway and turned off the lights. All was fine, but definitely made us a bit nervous that late at night.
Otherwise fabulous beds, great layout for the house, great pool the kids practically lived in, cute towns and parks nearby for the kids!

Very nice neighborhood. We had major issues with mosquitoes in a fountain where the pump was not working. We were unable to enjoy being outside around the pool because of this. Also, lots of mosquitoes got into the house as well. The upstairs bedrooms were extremely warm, except for the master bedroom. We did follow the instructions that the host gave us, but it was still uncomfortable. I think the pool area needs some cleaning. Lots of mulch everywhere. Felt very damp back there which causes more mosquitoes. If these two things were fixed, it would be a five star. We still enjoyed our time. Very nice host. hopefully those things are fixed cause we would love to come back again. Late Saturday night the host did send someone out there to try to rectify the mosquitoes.

My whole family loved this house. It was absolutely amazing. The pool was perfect and gorgeous. Big enough for the whole family. Everybody loved their own rooms. The basement was so much fun. We played so many games of pool, darts, and ping-pong. I am now a huge fan of nine ball. The pool and patio are absolutely amazing. The whole house is gorgeous. We loved using the dining room. Easy to check in. Everything we needed. Everything worked great. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a great time on our short girls’ getaway. The house was so nice, but is in need of some updating and touch up paint here and there. The pool also needs a little makeover, but it was still refreshing and enjoyable with the high temps. We look forward to returning for another quick getaway and seeing some of the updates.

We had a blast! This was our 2nd or 3rd time staying and we have so much fun. I deducted 1 star for cleanliness only because there was standing water in a fountain which attracts mosquitos, otherwise, everything was fantastic!

The house was perfect for our needs. We loved the pool and the kids enjoyed the many games that were available to play. The property was clean and comfortable. We came to the area to visit family and definitely plan on booking this property again for future visits.

Needs a little TLC, but fit our needs. The kitchen update will certainly improve the place. Kids loved the pool and we spent most of our time outside. Mosquitoes were fierce. We made great memories with our family from Ohio and Kansas meeting in the middle.

Spent the weekend in Carbondale to attend our son’s graduation from SIU. This home is conveniently located. We had plenty of room to spread out and all the amenities we needed. Our sons especially enjoyed playing pool and ping pong in the basement bar/game room. We would love to come back when the pool is open…the back patio and pool looked beautiful. But, best of all this house truly felt like home…it was comfortable and cozy. There was a note that a kitchen remodel is coming soon. I’m sure that will just add to this lovely home. Located in a quiet neighborhood.

Family Vacation
The house was perfect for my family of 5. The kids loved the swimming pool and game room. It felt like a home away from home. Plenty of outdoor activities, wineries, and orchards in the area.

Amazing backyard
The neighborhood was very quiet and the backyard was amazing. The house was nicely decorated and they are planning a kitchen remodel which will definitely help the place feel more spacious. The kids did wish there was more than one tv but with the pool table and ping pong table downstairs they managed. Would stay again if in the area.

This home was really amazing. Me and my family had a great time bring in my birthday, but also to surprise my soon to be wife. Yes I gotten engaged. It was really unbelievable, and having the place to surprise someone planned out perfect!! Thank you once again!!

Spacious home with lots to offer
Our family had a great visit with lots to do at the home. They offer a swimming pool and game rooms in the basement with billiards and ping pong. The region offers lots of hiking opportunities and a budding wine industry.
