Such a brilliant stay. The bach has the old, retro, Kiwi bach feel to it with its seaside/surfy design elements, while having all the mod cons needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Positioned almost halfway between the beach and town, it was only a minute or two stroll to either of them. Bach is well equipped with everything needed for a short or longer stay. It definitely was the perfect place for us.

Great Kiwi Bach
We had an awesome stay in this Kiwi bach. Older house but homely and tidy and suited me, my husband, our 3 young kids and our dog very well! Perfect position, super close to the beach and the shops. Had everything we needed for a winter weekend getaway and the oil heater kept the house warm and cosy. We would definitely stay again. Thanks!

What a fabulous bach!
Love this retro styled bach with plenty of room for our family.
Love the fact that it's a short walk to the beach AND to town.
Love the fact our little dog could come along and had a nice big yard to wander around in.
Love the outdoor shower after the beach.
Would love if there was a microwave to heat up leftovers is probably the only suggestion to the owners.
Booking again soon for next year!

Amazing place to stay
Gorgeous property and so relaxing.
Great amenities and felt like a home from home. Two minute walk to the beach which was perfect waking the dog for a morning stroll.
We would definitely recommend and visit again.

Wow! What an awesome location. Walking distance to main street and the beach. Our fur babies had the best holiday! Lots of pats from people walking down the adjacent walkway, Their Mum and Dad enjoyed their stay too. Neat surf beach get away. Great lay out with a good family vibe.

Outstanding in every way
The location is incredible. So close to beach and town with the walkway right outside the door. The property is secluded and very well setup and was perfect for us in every way.

excellent location, great for kids
Perfect bach for us. Exactly half way between beach and shops right on an access path (about 250m walk to each). Great that we were able to bring our dog and that section was fully fenced so safe for him and our small children. A lovely classic kiwi Bach. Outside hot shower was so handy for rinsing off little sandy feet. The only thing extra that would have been good was an outside area that was covered: it was quite rainy the week we stayed and would have been good to have a place outside under cover to hang our sandy wet clothes and store our bikes. Everything got a bit wet. But we would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much!

Perfect spot, awesome showers
Such a convenient bach for beach and town. Heated outdoor shower a real bonus! Kitchen a little small but two fridges very handy for two young families. Comfortable kiwi bach that you can sit back and relax in. Great outdoor area and plenty of parking in a fully fenced section makes for a safe environment for young children. Thank you for sharing your family gem with us.

Great Kiwi Bach in the heart of Whanga
This traditional kiwi Bach has all you need for a comfortable stay. It is well equipped with a lovely outdoor area and BBQ. We particularly liked the outdoor shower which was great after a day at the beach. The location is fantastic - a couple minutes walk to both the beach and the shops. We really enjoyed our family holiday here, and would love to return in the future.

Nice clean property close to beach and amenities
A hick up with arrival was the only negative, but that was due to a technology failure. a cool place with lots of space, nice outdoor area, a short walk to the beach along the walkway.

The Bach has a good layout. We particularly loved the outdoor shower. Nice modern bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor seating area was nice and private. We definitely would love to go back.

The bach is close to both the beach and main street.
The bach is close to both the beach and main street. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is new and well equipped. The kitchen has 2 fridges and we used them both. The cleaning lady Mary was very accommodating and delivered the key to us in person. I would recommend this bach to anyone, and hope to use it again in a future trip.

The Bach was fantastic! We were very happy staying there with the walkway to the beach and town beside the Bach it was very convenient. The updated bathroom was very nice, and the open space plan had such a good family feel to it. Looking forward to returning!

The house smells very damp / musty ...not sure what the cause is of that but it didn't leave over the 4 day period...otherwise all as to be expected for this price bracket. The hot outdoor shower is a bonus ! Thankyou.
