What an amazing property! We had 8 adults and 6 children and never felt cramped. The property is set up perfectly for large groups and was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beach is beautiful and easily accessible. The home is close to everything but far enough that you don't have to deal with crowds. We loved this place!! Highly recommend

We stayed at this house in late June for a family reunion. It was perfect! Great communal space for all the families and kids to come together, but also big enough to allow some privacy when needed. The location doesn’t get much better. Right on the beach, makes it so easy to spend as much time on the beach as you want, and it was in just the right spot that the beach never felt overly crowded. Daily swimming, fishing, shell searching and night strolls. We have done this type of trip before, and I was very impressed with the accommodations in the house. High quality cookware made cooking big family meals super easy. Would definitely recommend!

The location was great. The beach access was wonderful and super close. The house has a fenced in area downstairs for pets / children which was very helpful. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of all furniture and cookware. Towels were all stained and very cheap sheets. One couch was an outdoor couch, the other was stained. Every surface needs to be deep cleaned. All vents were surrounded by water damage and mold. The countertops are overdue to be sealed. Many places needed to be painted. The cookware is past its prime and were impossible to keep from sticking / burning. When we arrived the cleaning crew had a broken chair at the garbage. Turned out we were missing that chair at dining table. The house is very spacious and for that I was thankful. The revenue made off of a house that rents for over $9000 a week needs to be better. Super disappointed in upkeep of the property.

Lagniappe II exceeded our expectations. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen items (minus sauté pan). There were PLENTY of towels and blankets. The beds were very comfortable! AC was cold as could be (even upstairs). They have plenty of beach items and toys stored away for use which was a nice bonus. Very convenient to restaurants and groceries. No complaints!

Lagniappe II is the perfect beach house. I will start by saying the house was immaculate. The kitchen is very well equipped and organized. The beds were very comfortable. We will return to this house next February. The location is perfect for off season rentals when the beach isn’t full of summer tourists. The rental agency is very quick to respond to any questions, and I love that this is a locally owned business. I highly recommend this property and Gulf Shores Vacation Rentals.

My family has suffered great losses this past year. My children and I lost my mother and father (their only grandparents). We also lost my husband ( their father). This is our first holiday without my husband so we thought we would start a new family tradition. We were able to visit with some nearby family members as well. It was a wonderful trip filled with food, fun , family , friends , beautiful sunshine and the beach!! We loved it!! It is our happy place.

Overall we were happy with this rental. The house was as we expected from the pictures and reviews. The location was great. We had a small issue with the Wi-Fi (we had two college students with us taking summer classes so internet was necessary) and the issue was resolved right away. The house could use a deep cleaning but overall it was good. The beds were comfortable. The ice maker was a game changer, loved it!

Great communication from hosts leading up to and during our stay. Ice maker was broken, but someone was by within 15 minutes with bags of ice for us. We had our own, but there was lots of great beach gear to use.
Good distance on both sides from public beach access which made this spot less crowded. Very good kitchen layout with plenty of tools and dishes.
If you cook most of your meals, bring ice chests for extra cold storage as the fridge is standard size and a little tight unless you make regular trips to the store- which is easy enough.

Property was as described. Great location. Living room furniture could stand to be upgraded. Air conditioning stopped working but after calling a maintenance person came in a couple of hours and fixed it. One downside was only one bath towel, wash cloth per person. The free tickets for several activities were much appreciated.. All in all, a very enjoyable stay for our family of 12.

This property is perfect for larger families. Plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own space. The living area and dining areas are bigger than the pictures show. The beach is in the backyard. We have been coming to gulf shores for over 20 years, and a house right on the beach is by far our favorite beach trip experience. We have already rebooked for next year.

The house has a perfect view of the beach from its great room and porches. The house is away from the public beach which made it very private. The kitchen is HUGE for many hands in the kitchen. We hope to stay here again. Management was timely in responding to 1 issue that was just an “FYI “ comment, rather than a “need”, so they have their guest as priority.

We had a great time on our first trip to Gulf Shores. The house was plenty big, had comfortable beds, and the beach was beautiful. One of the upstairs bathrooms could use some TLC but other than that the house is in great shape. The ice maker stopped working the day we arrived and it wasn’t able to be fixed but we didn’t let that ruin our trip. We will be back!

We have rented this house for several years now for our annual GIRLS Beach Trip during ShrimpFest. We absolutely have loved this house. Perfect location, perfect set up as far as bedrooms / bathrooms, etc. We thought we had found our forever house to rent each year as we have been doing this trip for over 13 years now. We had ALL INTENTIONS of rebooking for next year...until....we went to rebook and the cost had gone up over $2500.00 for the SAME exact number of days during the SAME timeframe. We have now been OUTPRICED unfortunately of the house we love so much!! I did question the amount and was told that due to insurance and the renovations they were going to be doing to the bathrooms that they had to increase the price. But over $2500.00??? As much as we love this house, we did not rebook / could NOT rebook at the new total price so we had to find something else within our budget. We are heartbroken, but it is what it is. If you are willing to pay this price, then this is a great house for a large group. Great location, kitchen very well stocked, bathrooms do need some repair / upgrading, but overall we would definitely recommend staying here if the price works for you. It unfortunately no longer will work for us due strictly to the price increase.

We had a wonderful time! The house was spacious and clean. The location was convenient to restaurants and shopping. We saw dolphins and sting rays. The grandkids had fun playing in the sand and water. The swing area with decking and a picnic table was a nice plus. I hope we will be able to return some day!

The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a problem with ants but the leasing agent took care of getting someone to spray. The only thing that keeps me from renting again is the furniture on the main floor balcony. We are outdoor people and love the beautiful views from the balcony. It looked like they may have had new railing built which was nice and safe for children. The furniture was nice chairs but they were too low and the new railing blocked the view to a level we didn’t like. Update the balcony furniture and you will have yourself a solid 10 rental.

This was our first vacation blending families (adult kids and teens) and it was so nice to arrive and not have to be concerned with bedroom setups etc. Very spacious and clean. Mgmt was very communicative - emails with lots of details on how to make the most of the stay .. and also texts checking in on us. We had one thing that required maintenance and they immediately responded and fixed. Would definetly stay here again! Thank you for providing all the things to make the stay enjoyable (dishes, pots, pans, games, beach toys etc - perfect!) To be directly on the beach was incredible - we all left having enjoyed our stay!

This vacation rental home is perfect for families and friends who want a relaxing place to call home while visiting Gulf Shores and the surrounding area. It was tastefully decorated, very comfortable and large enough for bigger groups. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of prep space. The dining area had plenty of seating and the living rooms were spacious with comfy sofas. The location was just perfect; right on the water making this house a destination in itself. Staying here added to the enjoyment of our trip. The home is beautiful and spacious. The decks provide a fabulous view of the beach and gulf. We spent lots of our down time on the deck. It is closer to the beach than many other homes. It is also close to restaurants (by driving) but still in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again. The management was very responsive answering questions.
