We have been looking forward to this vacation for a year! We love the gulf coast and had 13 adults and children attend from our family. Overall, a good stay - not great, considering what we paid for it.
The Good:We loved the location - far enough out of town but easy access to town. Having beach right at the house was great. House was well stocked and great that every family had own bedrooms and bathrooms. pool was a nice addition and kids spent plenty of time there
The Not So Good: on arrival we were surprised to find a number of the steps going upstairs had the step ends removed and duct tape on the steps - probably 6-8 of the steps. Several steps had something sharp sticking up and if you stepped directly on the taped part it would give. This meant being extra careful going up and down not to step on a sharp edge or slip from foot placement. For what we paid very disappointing. I mentioned it on the first day and got no response or reply. Secondly, after we arrived we found ants in kitchen and all over couch and chairs. called and told maintenance first night, and no one showed up. The next day I called back again and that afternoon someone sprayed. Told someone would come back to spray fully and to clean the couch. next day a guy sprayed whole house but no couch cleaning so had to sit on a somewhat dirty couch with dead ants in it. House smelled like bleach when we checked in which wasn't pleasant
Not sure I would stay here again for the price I paid

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were wonderful with plenty of room to sleep and spread out for two families. The walk to the beach was super convenient and perfect for the little kids. We would stay here again!

Overall, we thoroughly enjoy our stay and loved the proximity to the beach. The property was as described, and the house was exactly what we were looking for. The beach was not overcrowded, and we had plenty of room for the kids to run free.
We had three suggestions for improvements. First was that under some of the furniture it was quite dirty with potato chips and other garbage. We also found about a dozen nails/screws in the driveway. Luckily no one ended up with one in the tire. Lastly, the grill should probably be cleaned on a more frequent basis. The bottom was quite full of wet ashes which made it a hassle to get going.

This house was perfect for a big family it extended family. Kitchen is well stocked!!! Great decks with beautiful views. It was so nice for everyone to have their own bedroom. Pool is great too, a nice break from direct sun. We had a few issues with the air but maintenance was very quick to respond and act. My one wish would be to have the beach private in front of our property. We went out early to put chairs directly in front of the house. We will be back with our extended family. Wonderful experience with the management company. Great communication.

Perfect for our three families. Had 7 adults and 6 kids and we had plenty of space. The house was clean when we arrived. We had some hiccups with the wifi not working and a bathroom fan, but both were fixed promptly. Would rent again.

Five kids, five grandkids. 14 of us all together. Great Spring Break. Short walk to beach. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Pool was small but heated and the grandkids loved it. Property manager was great. Very responsive. House and property as advertised.

We enjoyed our stay quite much! This house exceeded our expectations! Very very clean and up to date and especially loved the private balconies for each set of rooms.Each bedroom had its own bathroom so that was a plus.The one n only negative is the beach area is not super large but it wouldn’t keep us from staying here again.Also the pool isn’t very big but thts ok we like to enjoy the beach!Would be nice if pool was heated in the evening.Will definitely stay here again!!!Thanks!!!

We enjoyed our stay very much and the space was perfect for our group of 16. The beds were comfy and the space was accommodating. The only negative was the beach which is very small in this area and at the time full of seaweed. But we made the best of it! Would recommend this home to anyone!

Perfect Location
We loved our stay! Having a private house right on the ocean was a phenomenal experience. What a luxury to be able to go back and forth from the house to the beach in seconds. The layout of the house is fantastic - open main floor, a full bathroom attached to each bedroom, gorgeous decks overlooking the ocean, etc. The kitchen was by far the most well stocked of any rental I’ve experienced. Great communication from start to finish. The clothes dryer stopped working mid-week and they sent someone to repair it the next day. We had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this property!

Fantastic house and location but house was dirty.: food on floor, cans and cig butts on deck.
Enjoyed the stay but the degree of filth in the house took away from our stay. I can not see how a cleaning crew could have done such a poor job. There was food behind the couch, trash on the 2nd floor deck (including beer can and cigarette butts). We cleaned the house in order to tolerate the filth. Someone should look into the cleaning crew. I read other reviews stating the same.

Livinit house
Very dirty, ceiling fans dripping with dust in all the rooms. The floor in the kitchen has bad boards and are hazardous to your feet, stubing your toes on them. The entry way coming up the steps from the parking is dirty and needs painted. I think the owner of this house needs to take a look at what he is renting. Lots of other things need attention. Did enjoy the pool and the close drive to town. I turned in a list of 8 issues that need attention immediately but doubt if they were corrected before the next guest came. Parking area under the carport floods and going into the pool area. Will not stay there again.2

Everything as advertised
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect. It had so much room. We didn’t even use the upstairs bedrooms. We could sit in the living room and hear the ocean waves. The beach was not crowded at all. Clean and well cared for property. My daughters loved the pool. It was great that it was heated. It was a small pool if you really wanted to swim but it was nice for my 5 and 2 year old to soak her around in as the ocean was cold when we went. The only drawback I would say about the property was that it is kind of far from things. You can’t really walk to anything but it made us feel safely isolated during COVID to not have anyone so close to us. We look forward to renting again.

The house and beach were wonderful. First time we have been to gulf shores and we loved the beach. The house was clean, the management team was quick with our issues when the coffee maker went out. The pool was wonderful for our little one.

This beach house was beautiful and in the perfect location, with direct beach access. There were a few minor maintenance issues throughout our stay but they were resolved the same day when calling the on call property management staff. Would recommend this rental to anyone!!

Best beach location
This property was a great location if you want quiet. We were so happy that the beach was only really occupied by other people that had rented houses in our section. This property fit 15 people comfortably. Each bedroom had its own bathroom plus a half bath for the main level. We plan to make a trip back next year and will rent this again. The kitchen had so many cooking utensils and dishes. We had about a 2 mile drive to the downtown area stuff but we didn't mind that at all. If you are looking for a relaxing beach front location this is it.

Absolutely perfect, the place was spotless and everything as advertised. Very close to all the restaurants but just far enough away to have your own piece and quiet. The ocean is so close to the house versus staying in a condo. Watching Dolphins every morning from either deck was perfect. Have already inquired about getting the house for next summer vacation

A group of us went down for the big beach half marathon and stayed at this house. It was perfectly located on the beach and it was a quick drive to everything! House was wonderful and I highly recommend it! We had a blast!

Great House
Great location and really cute decorations. We were the first visitors after a hurricane, so the pool heater wasn’t working at first, but they fixed it after a couple days. The floor in the kitchen was sagging a little and one of the the upstairs fan lights did not work, but overall it was a wonderful house. It was clean when we arrived and had plenty of towels and linens. It was a great space for families and we enjoyed our visit.

Great location and beach access
The property was nice and updated but could definitely use a good cleaning. The location was great and close to restaurants. The beach access could not have been better and that made it worth every penny. The pool is advertised as heated, but only heats to 80. Which, if you have a pool, you know that is not super warm. We did have a couple of maintainer issues, but as soon we contacted the manager the issues were taken care of. Overall, great property and would stay here again.
