Beautiful home! We had such a wonderful stay. It was fully stocked and our family felt taken care of. It was a perfect home for our family vacation and there were many amenities for our toddler as well. It was raining for most of our stay, so we spent a lot of time in the house. We were also very close to the beach, so we took some nice walks during our stay. It was perfect. Thank you!

This house had it all! From check-in to check-out, the process and stay was perfect. We walked into a beautiful home that was equipped with more than we could imagine. We were a group of 4 moms and 4 teenage daughters that were down for a sports tournament and didn’t want to stay in a hotel. The house is in a perfect location, great neighborhood, two blocks from the beach, quietly located at the end of the strip, which was nice to be slightly away from the hustle and bustle of vacationers, but still vacationers ourselves. Great restaurants within a 5 minute walk, some a shorter distance. The management team was accommodating and very responsive. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed and didn’t know we needed until we looked! From extra blankets, beach towels, all the beach gear you could imagine, to a kitchen that had everything… our group kept repeating how perfect this find was (and we are picky people). I highly recommend this house (although with some reservations because we want to come back and we selfishly don’t want it to be booked). Thank you to Jackie and the Sojourn Team!

We had an amazing stay at 301 Winston Salem Ave, the house was immaculate and gorgeous, plenty of room to sleep comfortably. There isn’t a single complaint. Would definitely recommend working with the company again in the future and book the same residence again in the future.

We are grandparents with four grown children and three grandchildren and chose your house for our first family vacation. Kids Ages 4-71! This house was perfect and the location was an easy walk to the beach. Lots of things you normally have to pack in the car were provided for in the house so that was a great plus! Very clean and lots of dishes spices cookware small appliances and utensils. Amazing stay. Everyone loved it and already talking about going back. The beach cart was a lifesaver! The new management company was very responsive to our requests. Thank you Jackie!

Even though this isn't our first VRBO stay, it's the first I'm reviewing...I had to review this property!
In a word, AWESOME. Jackie was so easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. We had such pleasant exchanges we invited them to stop by one night and have a beverage and we chatted for a long while.
Aside from being such nice hosts, this property comes with everything one could think of and more! The location can't be beat...a super easy walk to the beach and a good restaurant literally across the street. If you don't mind a morning walk, we discovered some great coffee places a mile or so from the house.
We were a family of 9 and all agreed how much we enjoyed staying at this property.

We didn't have any issues but I'm sure if we had, Jackie would have taken care of them right away. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Plenty of opportunities for people-watching sitting out on the porch. We would absolutely stay here again.

BEST VRBO!
Even though this isn't our first VRBO stay, it's the first I'm reviewing...I had to review this property!
In a word, AWESOME. Jackie was so easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. We had such pleasant exchanges we invited them to stop by one night and have a beverage and we chatted for a long while.
Aside from being such nice hosts, this property comes with everything one could think of and more! The location can't be beat...a super easy walk to the beach and a good restaurant literally across the street. If you don't mind a morning walk, we discovered some great coffee places a mile or so from the house.
We were a family of 9 and all agreed how much we enjoyed staying at this property.

Virginia Beach Getaway
We are incredibly happy with our stay in Virginia Beach. The property was clean and stocked with everything we could have needed. We didn't have any issues but I'm sure if we had, Jackie would have taken care of them right away. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Plenty of opportunities for people-watching sitting out on the porch. We would absolutely stay here again.

well decorated home to a very CLEAN HOME and how everything is labeled in the kitchen, and comfy bed. The home's location is great very short walk to the beach and jet skies para sailing steps from the beach home. People always want to know what they can improve on in their home there is nothing everything at this home is great. Keep doing what you guys are doing.
Please if you have a large family and we did. We rented hotels that was close by the beach home. The beach home served as central location to come together for breakfast and dinners because that most food places can't commentated large families for dinning for walk-ins. beach home made it really easy to be with your family together for meals. and yes we still dine out too.

Lovely house
Great house, very nice decor, we loved all the seating areas on the main floor. The kitchen was very well stocked, though we didn’t cook much due to the huge number of restaurants in walking distance. Very convenient to the beach and boardwalk, and the view of the marina was nice (master bedroom balcony in particular). The garage had all sorts of great supplies, we used the bikes and beach cart and chairs. I think there were a bunch of lawn games that we didn’t get a chance to try. Bedrooms were very comfortable, the kids bunk room was very cute! My only negative comment isn’t about the house but just the location. If you don’t know Virginia Beach, there are military jets that fly over the main resort area regularly (the number of flights seems to vary by day, with some days being busier than others). I know the locals are used to them, but they are quite loud if you aren’t used to them. But the house itself was great.

We loved our 5 day stay at Jackie’s property over spring break 2021!! She was extremely helpful throughout from being super speedy in her replies, to offering restaurant recs, to describing to the smallest details what to expect in the rental home!
The pictures are completely accurate and I echo other visitors who expressed how comfortable the master bedroom mattress is! We were equally pleased at how well stocked Jackie’s kitchen was - there were ample dishes, utensils, appliances, etc. and with plastic options for small kids. Thank you Jackie for such a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Stay
My family carefully gathered at Christmas. We rented this home to help assure safety through distancing. Not as many came as originally planned so our group was mostly smaller. The layout of this home was perfect for us. The pictures on line are perfect but do not show it all. The extra touches (decorated for the season and other touches of care) made it all the more special. We absolutely made beautiful memories for our family that will last a lifetime.

Just minutes from the boardwalk, well-stocked with everything from beach bikes to spices to plenty of towels, we couldn't have asked for a better stay in Virginia Beach. We definitely plan to return!
