Beautiful, chic property with great amenities, and the owners/staff are wonderful!

The stay began wonderfully with a personal check in and explanation of the hotels and amenities. The fresh cooked breakfast was outstanding! Huevos rancheros one morning, waffles the next day, a panini the following, all of which included delicious fresh fruit. The location is close enough to the main center area and an easy walk to the beach. I was able to wake up to see the sunrise on the beach, come back for breakfast, and then go out again to explore the area. Or I could easily relax on any of the lounge chairs and read a book in relaxation. I will gladly return here and look forward to it. Thank you Johanna and Greg! (And Iren, the official hotel dog!)

Loved everything about BoHo Tamarindo… Clean rooms… Amazing breakfast prepared fresh every morning… Quiet, serene pool area to relax before waking across the street to see the sunset… Friendly, courteous hosts.

the Boho is a new exceptionally clean hotelwith very comfortable beds and good AC. great shower and bonus you can flush TP as they have a septic system! It is a quiet little oasis yet very walkable and across the street from the beach and between Tamarindo and langosta so both are easily walkable. we never had to drive. The owner Johanna and staff are extremely kind and friendly and helpful. Her husband cooks breakfasts which were excellent alternating between sweet and savory each day. The Boho is small enough to meet other couples from all over the world. We can’t say enough nice things about it!

Perfect location: close to town and everything within walking distance (nice restaurants and beach max. 5 mjn walk), but in a more quiet corner. Perfect host: Johanna was super nice, helping us navigate around the town and gave us many recommendations for restaurants and activities, which were all equally good Good facilities: clean and nicely decorated rooms, good bathroom and swimming pool and chill area. Breakfast was really good too!

I visited BoHo Tamarindo with my parents in early December. We had adjacent rooms, settled in a quiet corner of the grounds facing the forest and hammocks. Johanna was an excellent host and was very friendly and responsive via whatsapp for any additional needs and questions later in the day. BoHo is in the PERFECT location in Tamarindo on the quieter and more scenic end of the beach closer to Playa Langosta. It is an easy walk anywhere to town but just the right distance from any craziness. It was the perfect place to relax in between activities and they were kindly able to make slight modifications to breakfast to accommodate my mom's "picky" appetite. Keep an eye out for the family of howler monkeys who live in the neighboring forest! We would also recommend booking a massage through the hosts, which my mom reviews as the best of her life. Another bonus was the resident dog, Iron, and cat (she might ask to come in your room!) If we return to Tamarindo we would not hesitate to stay here again!

The daily breakfast was incredible. I loved the element of surprise of not knowing what will be served each morning. Also, the owners were very welcoming and ensured we were comfortable.

You can hear the neighbours through the wall very easily. Even just their talking voice. I was surprised by this.

very nice place. the room was clean, right next to the pool. there was a place for yoga or just to sit and relax and watch the monkeys on the trees. breakfast was served every morning. it was delicious. the host Johanna was very nice and kind, talked to us every morning, made recommendations. the place is walking distance from everything.

We had a perfect 5 days staycation at Boho. The place is perfect; we enjoyed the calm at the pool with the howling monkeys. The hosts (Johanna&Greg) were very welcoming with good recommendations and easily reachable if we need a booking or advice. The location is the best (5’ of everything) and the rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast (sweat/salty every other day) made by Greg was very good as well! We will definitely come back there when possible!

Everything about this little oasis was on point! It's close to the excitement and party atmosphere of Tamarindo, but within itself is quiet, peaceful and very secure.

Everything was perfect. There was nothing to dislike or complain about and I'd choose this place 100/100 times easily.

Breakfast was really good and the location was good. Easy access to the beach and still walkable to the downtown via sidewalks but outside enough to still be quiet

We loved absolutely everything about this accommodation. This was definitely the best place during our 3 week trip. Johanna & Greg had a perfect level of hospitality and were always helpful but never intrusive. We also really enjoyed the privacy and of course the wonderful yoga/chill/massage deck. Our daily highlight was the delicious breakfast. We were looking forward to it every morning. It was by far the most delicious and also most lovingly prepared breakfast in Costa Rica :) Another highlight were the mosquito nets on every window and even a mosquito net sliding door. We really enjoyed lying in bed listening to the thunderstorm and feeling the fresh breeze through the open window. For some people this will be a small thing, but for someone who is really afraid of eight-legged creatures, it was just heavenly. I felt more comfortable and safe than in any other accommodation.

The only advice we can give to other travelers: You better not book this accommodation at the beginning of your trip, because after that, you won't find anything that can keep up with Boho Tamarindo ;))

Johanna is a really warmhearting host and helpful (e.g. organizing transport). - There is also Greg but he seems mainly responsible for breakfast. The hotel is clean, the room (inculding the bed) was really comfortable. Nice pool area. Breakfast varies every morning.

I would have wished to have better blinds, what darken a bit better, cause there were lights right outside the room during the whole night. So in the night it was a bit bright in the room.

Our stay at Boho was amazing! It felt so quaint and homely. Johanna made us feel right at home. We left early one morning for an excursion and she messaged me to say she didn't see us at breakfast and that she left something in the refridgerator for us. Like seriously, where else had you had such an experience?! Obviously Johanna & Greg care about everyone that they welcome to their little oasis and with such hospitality, I most definitely will be staying there again, the next time I visit CR. Pura Vida! 🤪😍

Lovely, modern hotel. Rooms were nice, bed was very comfy and all facilities were great. Hotel owners look after you very well with a great breakfast, tour recommendations and even a packed lunch on leaving too. Such a good location so close to the beach. We loved it here.

The property was in a great location. Breakfast was amazing something different every day. Any requests were handled immediately. Close enough to town and beach but far enough to feel secluded.

The hotel is really nice and welcoming, with nice pool. the room is really cozy and equipped . Johanna the owner is really nice and helpful.

there were stairs and gravel on the way to our room which made it really hard to go with luggages. The breakfast is something sweet and sometimes savoury, we prefer to combine.

Awesome boutique hotel in Tamarindo. Great breakfast daily from Greg, awesome owners, and very well kept property.
