Lovely grounds and shared area outside with picnic tables and BBQs for the summer. Lots of facilities - washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge, oven, hob, microwave, smart TVs in living room and both bedrooms. Excellent WiFi. Powerful, hot showers or bath if you prefer. There’s an excellent Indian takeaway In Weymouth who deliver here called Chillies. In an excellent location to explore surrounding Dorset.

It could definitely do with a refurb soon. There were bits peeling off the doors for example and the wardrobes are showing signs of wear, some marks on the walls etc. The bed throw was filthy in the downstairs bedroom. I’m not sure why the person who made the bed thought it was acceptable to leave it on. It gets very hot up in the mezzanine bedroom at night so we had to have the window open. Could do with some smaller baking trays, there only seemed to be a grill pan and a roasting pan. Small point and a bit picky but we prefer bigger towels. From an overall perspective it was one of the more expensive properties we stayed in on our 16 night road trip of south west England but it was in the worst condition, although still acceptable.

Very good location a few miles from Weymouth, in quiet village with good pub and plenty of walks on the doorstep. Cottage immaculate and very comfortable.
