It was a peaceful location with stunning scenery in a beautiful gated community. A very special property. Sugar Mill restaurant is super close and was such a great restaurant for a special occasion. The food available for breakfast at the villa was delicious and easy to order. Neena was super friendly and helpful thinking ahead in providing you all the info you need, communication was on point. Cannot wait to return

It was very clean

It’s basically outdoors? Only 2/3 AC systems worked, transportation was expensive, no complimentary anything! No on site restaurants, beach club was run down/ soon to be renovated.

This villa is perfectly located in Montego Bay, close to the airport, the hip strip, Harbor Village mall, other local popular places and of course a private beach. The villa is situated in a secluded gated community, it was clean, spacious and had spectacular views. The rooms were nicely decorated with their own private bathroom. All facilities were updated and well maintained. Of course there was a pool overlooking the green lush landscape with the ocean as it's background.

Misunderstanding clarified, this did not affect our stay.

Restaurant recommendations were good. It's good to have a gate into neighborhood and the house. We felt safe. The host is very responsive when needed. If you do visit the area, you must try The Pork Pit (on hip strip in Montego Bay), Scotchies on A1, and the Chill Out Hut on A1 (a little east of Montego Bay). Both have excellent jerk chicken and pork. We felt safe at both places and both have free parking on-site if you have a car.

We did not enjoy not having running water the first four days of our six day stay without asking for it. They said the water could only point the water flow to one house, and told me they had been trying to get a new pump for a month. The right thing to do is to tell us that there is a problem and offer a refund, or to offer to book us somewhere else....it is non-refundable after all! We would come home late after doing water activities and sweating, and not have any running water. Sometimes you are in the shower and just run out of water....shampoo and soap still applied! One day they brought a bucket of water to use until they could get the water turned back on. No refund of any kind was considered for the inconvenience. Each guest is given 1 towel for the week, which is changed out every 4 days. If you wanted to have the A/C on, you have to shut all the window shutters, as the windows are only screens. There goes your view. The private pool is actually the pool at the owner's house, where they live full time. I asked about using the jacuzzi...no, it's broken. I had asked about restaurants, and was told how we can sneak in to one of the resorts. The male manager yelled at the housekeeper in front of us, although he did apologize later. I know they think they tried their best, but this property was not as advertised and unfortunately I cannot recommend it and we were glad to leave.
