Great location. Nice room. Very clean
Restaurant not good and expensive. Building lacking anywhere to enjoy a view. Pool and sauna close much too early - 1900! Cafeteria opens much too late - 10:00

Great Location in the Middle of the Caldera looking up at the Teide

Great and beautiful location.
Good starting point for several hikes and for watching the stars
Nothing, everything was fine

The hotel itself was lovely and comfortable the dining room staff one member in particular was very arrogant gave us wrong food order and was very insistent that was what we ordered my granddaughter ordered a fruit dessert and was given cheese and told that’s what you ordered we then had to get the head waiter involved after a lengthy discussion was remedied would never go to this place again never mind eating there spoiled the whole experience.
The attitude shown by staff member who spoiled our experience.

amazing location
friendly hotel-staff
Room furnishings rather old-fashioned but in good condition
breakfast

- Overpriced restaurant with unfriendly staff and hidden costs.
- Food was not good: Steak was extremely tough, fries not well done, vegetables still raw
- unfortunately no other options for dinner available

Great views of El Teide, very quiet in the evening to watch the stars, nice breakfast.

The adjoining cafeteria was quite disappointing, quality of food not great.

fantastic location . great views . good room . good seating areas
we booked breakfast slot at ten . on arrival we were the last people there and we weren’t offered cooked breakfast . Staff were clearing everything away . we would have taken earlier slot if we had known

great location
pretty old and outdated rooms and beds

Comfortable and well cared for
Exceptional location
We had a very good dinner with wonderful service at the restaurant.
Although breakfast could have also been equally pleasant, it was spoilt by 2 servers talking loudly to each other over the heads of the guest as if they did not exist.-the entire time we were there.
It simply didn't occur to them that this made all guests uncomfortable. Too bad.

Amazing stay near Teide
The hotel is so rustic and beautiful

When staying, you mostly pay for a location and being next to Teide. Its a kind of classic hotel, comfortable and well-maintained. Spacious, clean rooms.
Very slow service of restaurant during both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast selection was somehow very basic, no vegetables, and all warm meals shall be ordered.

We booked this for the location and it didn’t disappoint. Fantastic views. Loved the bar area and open fire. Reviews on food pretty mixed but we found it good and well cooked.
Staff mixed from very helpful to almost aggressive (breakfast service)
I wouldn’t say the room was a superior but we had decent views it did overlook the car park. The room was next to the lift and a vestibule with chairs and I had to go out at 11pm to ask a resident to move as he was talking very loudly on the phone and had been doing so for an hour. He did move and was very polite.

close to Teide and many hiking trails, it’s grate as a stop to watch all around Teide. super view from balcony! if you are going to explore Teide area it is the best place to stop
too much garlic in dinner dishes;)))

Incredible location! Especially if you want to go hiking in the Teide park. We also loved the fireplace, sauna and swimming pool and how relaxed the staff were although we were caught in a snow storm.
And again- location!!!
I can’t blame anyone as we were there in a huge snowstorm with very strong winds (up to 100 km/h) but if anything I would have liked if they hotel management would check the windows strength before storms as ours just burst open with the strong winds and we had to move to another room to sleep at 3 am because the window won’t stay closed!

Lady in the reception is welcoming.
The hotel management takes the advantage of hotel's unique location and lack of competition. They don't need to put an effort, so they don't. The hotel is overpriced for what it offers. Broken tiles in bathroom and old furniture in combination with mostly disinterested staff does not improve experience.
The food is unacceptable for vegetarians - they offer salad, boiled potatoes, cheese or pasta as options for dinner. First three are starters, while pasta and tomato sauce are served separately so you have to mix it yourself. It might be less of a problem of the sauce was better. In addition to disappointing dinner, there were no fresh vegetables for breakfast. So, cheese again...

I stayed here as I wanted to do some astrophotography. And this place is *perfect* - a short walk across the road takes you to a viewpoint with great views to the west where I could spend the evening photographing.
The hotel itself is lovely, comfortable rooms with all the usual facilities.
The breakfast and restaurant were both appreciated (I had booked half board so these were included)
One of the mains electrical outlets in my room didn't work (where the kettle plugged in) so to make a hot drink I had to carry the kettle into the bathroom. A minor problem, and I mentioned it when I checked out so hopefully it's fixed now

I’ve no idea. We drove the considerable distance up Teide only to be told the hotel had no reservation for us. Whether this was Booking.com’s fault or the hotel’s is something I am unable to get to the bottom of. The young woman on reception was clearly very upset and found us a room in an hotel 25km away down the mountain. As we were in this particular hotel specifically to watch the stars, a room lower down in a large village/small town with the attendant light pollution was clearly no good. After a free drink we simply drove back to our apartment on the coast. Rooms in this hotel are very difficult to book - I’ve been trying for years during our frequent visits to the island - and I was very excited that we had managed to get one at last, except we hadn’t as it turned out.
How about actually having a room for us?

Breakfast was very good. The weather was really bad.

The location is wonderful, the views are great and staff is top 10.
Overall the feeling is this parador is a bit rundown, the sinks were blocked, the shower licking and the doors were screeching. A little old and neglected it seems that money is not invested in having enough employees and maintenance
