Sea view is fantastic. Breakfast is very good and the staff in sky lounge in warm-hearted. Room is spacious.

I will never recommended this hotel and it is the worst choice due to the expectation and the reality. It is not a 4-star hotel at all, mayber a hotel btween 2-3 stars. There is 50% no WiFi when I was in my room. The phone doesn't work so I even couldn't call the reception during the night. The electricity shut off at least four times and interrupted my meeting once. The whole hotel is old. The hairdryer is sticky. The towel is not that clean. The lift is small and 1/2 of them broken during my stay for a while. The table in my room is unstable. There is no USB port in the room. The sound protection is poor. You can hear any sound from the corridor. The space in the bathroom is small and there is no where to put my staff. The receptionist is not helpful, even when I ask about the power off, she didn't apologize for the inconvenience. Understand the renovation and the noise during daytime.

Not much to say really. For the price this is a really good choice, breakfast is amazing with a stunning view over the ocean. Staff always happy to assist and the revamped rooms are really nice.

Reception was very busy on arrival so check in took a while. It would be nice to perhaps have plates knife and forks in the room, just for the purpose of ordered in food. Both points are really small and should not detract from what is still one of my fav places to stay, I travel all over for work.

The rooms were so clean and everything was perfect. The new flat screen TV was really very good Especially the size. Otherwise the Room was spotless; Service excellent really one of the best hotels in Durban and the Price is excellent.

The room was nice and spacious, and I had a sea view from the first floor that looked over the parking area. The bed was big and comfortable. The room had a fridge, kettle and it was supplied with coffee, tea, sugar, milk. Water was also provided daily in the room. The bathroom was a comfortable space, and it was supplied with shower gel, soap, shampoo, and towels. The room also had a flat screen TV with some DSTV channels. The WIFI was free and had a good speed. The hotel location is 5 mins away from the beach and beachfront. Breakfast was on the 11th floor and the restaurant provided a good selection of food. Most of the food was the same every day, with 1 special selection from the Chef’s desk. Service at breakfast was punctual. The restaurant on ground floor provided nice happy hour specials with yummy pub lunches. The room was cleaned early every day and allowed me to schedule my day easily. The aircon was good as it was extremely hot and humid when I visited. With loadshedding happening, the hotel had a generator to help with this dilemma. The hotel location is 5 mins away from the beach and beachfront.

I wish I could see more of the beach from the first floor. Breakfast was mostly the same every day.

Just the variety when it comes to hot breakfast, the breakfast is really good however I think it can still be better
