This location is excellent for large families. Our ages spanned 75 to 5 and everyone enjoyed all the amenities the Great Escape had to offer. And there is enough space for everyone to spread out and big enough space for everyone to come together.

Great place with a lot of room for everyone. Property was clean and comfortable. The location was also good as it was just far enough away from the tourist area but close enough to get there in a few minutes. The customer service was spot on as I received text throughout our stay checking to see if all was ok. We will be sure to keep this one on our list of places to stay.

Cabin is very nice and somewhat wheelchair accessible. My husband has a power wheelchair and was unable to use the bathroom sink due to it having a cabinet base that he could not fit under. The shower was also inaccessible for him. It was beautiful but having attached glass doors does not allow someone who cannot walk at all, get in. Everything else was great.

What a great stay. This place didn't disappoint! We had a group of 13 adults and 2 kids. The elevator amazing to have, since we had a couple of handicap adults. It allowed them to be apart of everything. The place was also big enough where we were not all on top of each other. The game room and theater was awesome! There was also a lot of activities in the area that allowed the young aduls to go out and enjoy themselves. The communication with the owner was awesome!! Always a text away and answered immediately. Took care of any issue and questions. We will definitely stay here again!

This place is not only beautiful but in a neighborhood that was quiet and perfect for our family stay. Everything there was perfect. The property manager was so attentive to our questions or needs and made sure our stay was perfect. The home is huge. The beds were so
comfortable and we truly enjoyed our time there. The most exciting part was watching 2 bears walk down the street near the home. Everything was close enough to go to such as dining out to doing fun activities. Strongly recommend.

This is a great wheelchair accessible rental. The wheelchair shower and elevator made it possible for my husband to be included in all the family activities. The cabin was nicely equipped except a few of the mattresses need to be replaced and a couple chairs in the living room were pretty shabby. Great family place with lots and lots of activities around to keep everyone busy. We will definitely return

The Great Escape checked off all the boxes for our family vacation. Plenty of room for everyone and very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, game room, and theatre room. Easy access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Townsend was definitely a plus as well.
We had a few questions during our stay and the communication with the owner was quick. Highly recommended.

The items left a starter items were perfect to get the vacation started without having to take a trip to Walmart (it will eventually happen) the rooms were so nice and accommodated our large group with no issues at all!

It was awesome cabin for my handicap son that is in a wheel chair. Roll in shower was perfect for him to get cleaned. I would recommend a sink that a wheelchair could roll under for washing his hands and brushing his teeth. The only concern we had was a small snake came crawling out of the air return vent in the media room. My son got it and took it out and let it go in the woods. But we understand this could happen in anyones home.

It's hard to find a handicap cabin that will go to almost all cabin floors and affordable. This cabin is great, Thomas rentals always answers messages in a timely manner. We really appreciate the southern hospitality. I would like to recommend a saftey non slip surface on their new shower seat in the handicap bathroom, my paraplegic husband almost slid off after adding soap. The marble is just super slick when lubricated. But the bathroom upgrade itself looks great and is more functional than before. Thanks for the beautiful family memories again and I'm sure we will see you again next year!

The Cabin was okay but we did had some problems with the hot water when some of the guests were getting ready at same time. The upper level floor AC was not cooling enough it was very hot in some of the bedrooms, the pull out beds were not comfortable we could feel the mattress springs. Other than that everything else good good.

Our vacation was absolutely wonderful! My entire family came from different states. The Cabin was spacious enough to accommodate everyone! We were comfortable and satisfied. The few problems that occurred in the cabin the owners sent maintenance immediately to handle the minor issues.

The cabin was as described 6 baths and 6 beds with a loft, while it had all the things we NEEDED, there were several things that need improving, the floor in the kitchen and dining are sloping badly. It feels like you are going downhill. The living fireplace stopped working mid way through our trip(not a big deal, they offered to send someone but we were in and out and didnt want someone in there without us presenta) the upstairs fireplace had no way to turn it on, pretty but not functional. Holes in the ceiling, and floors have LARGE gaps between the boards, duct tape on rugs, and most of the tiles in the kitchen are broken.Dust and cobwebs in every corner and on baseboards, right after being cleaned. Stairs are loose,VERY steep and coming away from the walls.While it is big, and has the elevator we needed, this cabin is in desperate need of an update/upgrade/overhaul, and I would gladly rent it again and recommend it to my friends with large groups.

I've been trying leave a review on the property we stayed in (Memory Maker) but VRBO still links my reservation to the Great Escape. We originally reserved the Great Escape, but as theses things go, several members of our party dropped out. The host was so amazing and accommodating and provided me with alternative lodging options for our small group. We ended up switching to the Memory Maker, and indeed, that is what we did. Our family had an amazing time and we fully enjoyed all that the cabin and surrounding areas had to offer. I traveled from AZ for this trip and it didn't disappoint. My husband and I are looking forward to when we can return. Thanks so much Shelly!

The rental was the perfect getaway. Far enough from the hustle and bustle of the center life but close enough to get there. The views are outstanding along the resort property. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. Plenty of space to either play games, hide away and read a good book, relax in the hot tub, or sit outside and enjoy the sounds of wildlife. You will not be disappointed!

Great for family reunion
The house has excellent beds, rooms, and bathrooms, and a lovely den to gather in. My family really enjoyed the house and the area. One group hiked while others enjoyed Dollywood and other attractions. I think we will all have great memories of our first real gathering since Covid.

Family Getaway
This property has four levels, which allowed each of our family units to have their own floor. Amazing~! We had plenty of room for family time. The cabin was very clean and the property manager responded very quickly to a couple of repairs that were needed. We would definitely stay again.
