Wait of 45mins between placing our order and being served our evening meal with no explanation or apology.

The room was in need of upgrade, bubbling wallpaper, everything was very dated Location was fantastic close to everything we needed Breakfast had lots of choice no complaints

The room was very dated, for the price we paid we expected a lot better then a dated room, the wallpaper was bubbling and in some places peeling off the walls.

Valet parking was well arranged, friendly staff.

When you offer a breakfast till 11am, one would expect that all breakfast items would be fresh and available. There were no pastries or croissants and the staff had to be alerted to this. Also buffet items looked tired. Sink in bathroom did not drain properly.

The staff were friendly and the location was perfect.

The room was tired and dated compared to the majority of other Hilton hotels that I have stayed in. We were also woken early by workers and scaffolding being set up just outside our window. We were not told about the works being carried out so it was slightly frustrating.

Polite and friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast. Great location for seeing the sights and shopping.

The kindness of the staff especially as my wife. had health problems and needed to stay in hospital during our stay. The staff were very kind, we were able to extend our stay at a very good rate and were supported throughout.

Bath with shower attached to taps. Kept flooding the bathroom as the shower curtain couldn't stop it from getting out over the bath.

Only one packet of biscuits for two people only one chair in room needed to be two room was small and very small bathroom and was expensive and didnt include Breakfast . Plus not enough tea and coffee

Great location and the breakfast had so much choice and was all fresh and delicious.

The room really wasn’t value for money and very dated, we were told we had been upgraded to a family room which I dread to think what the standard of our original room was. Not what you would expect for The Hilton. The reception, bar area and toilets downstairs were very modern, clean and to a high end standard, which as said previously is a stark contrast to the room. Also the fire alarm went off at 1am in the morning to which panic ensued and staff were unsure what the situation was or where it was going off and just told guests it was ok and go back to your room. My partner was unable to get back to sleep after this incident and was on edge the rest of the night.

The hill beside the hotel was striking . The service was good - staff all very pleasant.

The room was cold during the night and no heating on in the bathroom- cold when finished showering

It was close to where we wanted to visit and easy to walk into the centre. Parking was great at the hotel, really easy and helpful staff, who parked the car for you.

The room was quite warm and didn’t have aircon or fan to cool down. One of the pillows had mud stains on unfortunately so just left it to one side.

everything about the stay was exceptional i could not fault it from the moment i arrived and the parking of my vehicle taken care of. So professional from all the staff at the Hilton and a massive thankyou to them from the start of the booking arrangements from early last year (for my sons stag night) to the day of checking in.

Suite was located at the far end of a very long corridor. Hotel looked a little dated. We booked for 3 adults yet amenities were only for two ( 2 bathrobes instead of 3, 2 cups, 2 teaspoons …) We also found the view disappointing ( would have though the views from the suite would have been to the castle ( opp to the hotel location) instead of the side street and the rooftops )

Would have liked twin, upgraded to double & single. Hot water immediate, shower good. Towels white & fluffy. Location perfect, breakfast including vegetarian very good choices.

Would have preferred walk in shower but only available to accessible room. Not disabled but difficulty with getting in & out of baths. Needed tea tray re stocking, had to ask at reception. On remote, no menu as directed to order room service & telephone not answered

Nowhere to park first come first served is not a good start to any weekend had to park in the car park over the road £75 for 2 days and nights

Location was perfect and valet parking a big bonus.

We had an accessible room which was all that was available at short notice, the downside is the shower was terrible, the bed sheet was ripped and there was a broken false nail on the floor. The room also had an adjoining door to the next room (locked of course) which was poor soundproofing and we had the light from the next room shining under the door for the whole night.
