Fantastic breakfast

The Hotel is in a great location, the grounds are fabulous and it’s very dog friendly

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like however one of the mugs in the room still had a tea/coffee stain at the bottom and I don’t think the refreshment box had been topped up as there were only 2 sachets of de-caff coffee (no caffeinated). This wasn’t a major problem as I didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but I feel it warrants a mention

Fab location, lovely room overlooking the gardens. Very clean, good breakfast, bed realty comfortable. Staff were excellent. Great facilities.

Room a little dated, rust on outside of bath, although there were quite a lot of works being carried out at hotel, not sure if this includes room updates. We stayed in middle of heatwave so could have done with air con as small fan on wall was not adequate. Room was very warm. Only body wash, body lotion and shampoo provided, no other toiletries (needed conditioner) and water pressure not great in shower.

We loved the location and how central it was to wherever we wanted to explore in the cotswolds.

The room was quite chilly. But the hotel did g8ve us an oil heater and blankets upon request.

Nice setting, old characterful building. Location was convenient for me. Free car park. Comfortable bed.

Hot buffet breakfast wasn't the best quality, dried out. Room was cramped. Toilet was not fully functional. TV was very small, as was the wardrobe. Very noisy, some sort of heavy plant near the room throughout the night.

The pool and spa was not working upon arrival which was the reason I booked it in the first place It’s dated in parts No internet at the time of my stay Poor quality breakfast

A Very accessible room was given to us as I have just had a knee replacement. The view from the window was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly

No gluten free bread was on offer Sadly the Spa was closed which was very disappointing

Its location. The fact it had leisure facilities. Good car parking.

Poor decorative state. The fact that some of the leisure facilities were closed, I was only notified the day before arrival. Breakfast was poor. Room was exceptionally hot, very small & had spider’s webs.

The dinner menu of lakeside restaurant is delicious!

The pool maintenance delayed, so we can use this facility on 1/July

We have stayed here several times and obviously like this hotel. Lovely big and very comfortable beds, nice airy rooms, good food in the restaurant, pool is good. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Would love to see more tubs of flowers at the entrance most guests use from the car park. It could be done up quite nicely.

The buffet style breakfast was generous and couldn't be faulted.

Didn't like the cumberland sausages.

Use of the facilities.

The food and service were atrocious and highly overpriced. The breakfast was so bad, we both felt we had food poisoning. There were barely any food choices left on the menu and the food came out cold. The room was average at best. Pillows were uncomfortable, the room was dark and stuffy, even with the fan on. The bathroom looked very run down, when you had a shower the water went all over the floor, and it’s over a bath!

Situated in nice location and surroundings

They must have been fully booked as we got put in what must have been worse room in a hotel. The windows woudn’t open, they were really old as well, it was hot and cramped. Barely any space on either side of bed. Loads of cobwebs around skylight in shower room and few spiders around room. Breakfast selection, apart from full english was rather disappointing.

Coffee machine wasn’t working in the breakfast room ~ would’ve loved a latte with my pastry. Minor issue really in the grand scheme of life.

Room was very small and paid for and double room, also very overheated got told the windows couldn't open and the shower was leaking

Lack of in room tea coffee etc, 4 of those small but pots 4 2 people you need at least 5 for 1 drink. Tea/coffee tray not well stocked. We had half board but there was much confusion about what was included in evening meal. Spa was very tired looking changing room floors dirty hair all over floor lockers not working rust very neglected.

Nice rooms and friendly staff

Spa nothing like the pictures, children jumping in the pool and very bright. Not relaxing at all. More like a communal swimming pool.
