An excellent guest house that ticked all the boxes and kippers with a light breakfast wad a good start to the day.

A room at the front next time so will book earlier.

The staff were fantastic, professional and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and accommodated food intolerances (Gluten free). Beds were v comfortable and the B&B was quiet and clean.

The bar/restaurant was closed due to staff shortages, there are plenty of places to go to that are nearby.

The breakfast was fantastic and room had everything you need at a great price , also very close to town centre . The staff were very friendly and accommodating .

Everything was absolutely spot on

Clean, comfortable hotel with friendly helpful staff. Breakfasts were brilliant, good choice of food and service was quick. A good location with sea views from bedroom. It's an uphill walk from the promenade but central location as good 20 minute walk to either train station and bus station.

Fantastic experience. Beautiful house and very kind and service orientated staff. The location was super practical and the area is beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good and during practical hours. As an overall we were very satisfied.

The only things I did not like were the following: The door of the bathroom and the door of the main room could not be closed completely, therefore it felt as if anyone was able to open the door. Aside from that I was hoping we would get more often clean towels or at least a pair of two towels per person, and the room could have been a bit cleaner. These are minor details though, and as an overall a great experience.

Superb staff - very friendly, efficient & helpful. feels really welcome. (Despite what must be such a difficult time for recruiting & retaining staff). Breakfast excellent! generous & with plenty of choice. (husband very happy to see the option of Manx kippers which he thoroughly enjoyed!) Safe place to store cycles - (we were spending a few days cycling around the island). We had a comfortable & spacious room at the front with a big bay window. Thank-you,

Having a lift would have been helpful or at least letting elderly and disabled know unsuitable

Double room was on the small side, but ok as I was solo occupant.

Room was extremely cold when checked in and every step the room above us was loud. At check in the lady never told us about being at dining room by 7:30 or choosing what we wanted for dinner and giving our card with selections back to her when we got to dining room was told that they only had two selections left was quite embarrassing and frustrating. It was straightened out but not what I expected to be confronted with after a long journey to get here.

Excellent accommodation, great rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast, ideal location, would book again.

The hotel is located above the town and is a steep walk from the promenade but overlooks scenic gardens and is close to shops and other amenities.The cooked to order breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly.

May want to advise guests coming from the sea terminal to get a cab as the hotel is not on a direct bus route
