stunning heritage property in a quite area of Luang Prabang with a beautiful swimming pool where to relax after a long day. The room is well furnished and with balcony.

since I booked this hotel (2 months prior) I got in touch with the staff asking if they could help us to get train tickets to Vang Vieng. they told me that they had an agency that could do that and I could pay for the tickets upon arrival (3days before our travel date), this never happened! tickets were sold out and we had to arrange a minibus ride to VV which took us almost 7h instead of 2h. Very poor breakfast and super slow wifi. we experienced problems with shower water pressure which was either too strong or too low.

location is good, the design is fantastic.

the payment is not so reasonable. we pay by credit card , the staff insists to settle by local currency, it cost us additional payment more than usd$100.

Satri House is a sublime, gorgeous attention to detail period property which envelopes you for the perfect stay in Luang Prabang. The bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast Asian soup was wonderful, the pool was amazing- all surrounded by heavenly gardens and statues.

if you think that "Youth" Sorrentino is ingeniously beauty - Satry House is your place in spirit. outstanding aesthetics, incredible atmosphere and excellent service. and if you take an interest in the history of this place, you will understand that it is a great honor to stay here.

- breakfast: too basic, lack of options. Basket of bread and croissant and choice between western and Laos. western only eggs or pancakes. - room where we stayed in the back noisy due to street next to it and very dark;

Breakfast was great and the staff also are very friendly.

it's a beautiful historical house. It requires regular maintenance to keep up with the high usage. The old door locks may need to replaced soon.

Beautiful fusion of elegance and history. I imagine when fully operational it is a real sanctuary. Room was lovely and bed devine with nice private balcony. Pool and garden lovely. Staff very nice but no food/bar big drawback and expensive considering this.

Unfortunately we did not realise that there was no restaurant nor bar due to impact of covid and not being fully functional yet and this was not clear when booking. This meant no access to food or snacks and only beer. Also a bit further out than we realised. At this price hotel need to give more access to water for guests like a water cooler and resolve the fod/bar issue. Two small plastic water bottles which I hate for environmental reasons and isn't enough for two people. TV only had laos stations not that i care but others might. Cleaning mainly meant bed made.

So quiet and peaceful. the rooms and grounds are truly beautiful with so many gorgeous items everywhere. It is like staying in a home with personalized touches. Exquisite

The serenity and imagination that has gone into making this boutique hotel a wonderful home to enjoy. The library was particularly welcoming as was the dining. To have breakfast cooked for you rather than a buffet was refreshing. Beautiful antiques wherever you look.

This is an architectural delight. Grounds and rooms just glorious. Dining at breakfast and dinner delicious.

There is a loud neighbor across the street playing music on weekends. Select rooms away from the hotel entry area. In addition, there were quite a few young guest families so plan your adult pool time accordingly.
