Das Zimmer war geräumig und schön.
Es gab sogar einen Kühlschrank, den habe ich allerdings erst kurz vor Abreise gesehen im Kleiderschrank), ich war halt nur 1 Nacht da.
Das Personal ist sehr angenehm und freundlich.
Es gibt eine kleine Kaffeemaschine (ist aber etwas heikel bei der Benutzung).
Das angebotene Frühstück war gut.
Super fand ich auch, man bekommt ein Ticket für die Öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel.
Für uns war die Lage perfekt, nah zum Badischen Bahnhof, nah zum Meeting, Stadt gut erreichbar mit Straßenbahn oder zu Fuß.
Lademöglichkeit in Bettnähe wäre gut, also Doppelsteckdose wo zumindest eins frei sein sollte.
Die Kaffeemaschine vibriert, man muss das Gefäß unbedingt festhalten. Die Tasse daneben ist zu klein für die Taste, großer Kaffee und somit lief es auch noch über. Man hätte da dann wohl das Trinkglas nehmen sollen?

The location very close to the Basel Badischer Bahnhof was perfect for us. Breakfast was good. We could check in early. The stay included the Basel-Card, and we made good use of it. All of the hotel rooms are on the top floor and can be reached by lift. There was a good sized mini-refrigerator in the room.
The drains in the bathroom were not working well.

Room was clean and spacious. The staff were lovely and helpful.
Self service check in left feeling very vulnerable as had to take passport n cards out on the street. The air con was not working in our room which meant we had to have the windows open and the noise from the trams and street was incredibly loud.

Even the location is not perfect, the hotel has a tram stop in the same door and they give you a pass to use it for free during your stay. The hotel has an agreement with the Bahnhof Parking to pay 20CHF per day

The automated check in worked very well and check out was also smooth. The room was comfortable and clean. The location in front of the train station is very convenient but...
The street in front of the hotel was very noisy, with road works starting at 4am, and the windows were not enough to isolate from the noise.

We moved rooms to try and get some and it was not working throughout the hotel. It was actually cooler in the hall than our room

Staff was very helpfull.
The room was extremely hot both days even if we requested changing the temperature. We could not rest comfortably in the room in the afternoons.

The rooms are comfortable, reasonably sized, and the location is very good if you arrive at the Badischer Bahnhof ("German" station), and well connected by tram to the Messe and to the city centre/old town.
The whole place feels very unpersonal, with no receptionist or something, and check-in and everything done thorugh a machine besides the door. This made things a bit tricky since two of our group of three arrived two hours later: We couldn't deposit a key card at the reception (since there is none), and they had to get new ones with the "lost key" function, obviously leading to my key being invalid as I came back, so we again had to get three additional new keys. In the end we had 6 key cards, some working, some not. There is definitely room for improving this situation... It does not really feel like a 4 star hotel.
