Great location, staff and way of storing luggage after check-out (very safe, ensuring comfort and the feeling that only the reception has access to it, which is not a standard in other hotels)

Bathroom and shower were excellent. Close to lot of food, coffee, trains, buses, tourist places. Migros nearby has very good cheap, quality food for pickup, dine-in. Doner restaurants close by. Pleasant to walk around the river. Was there during Nov end and visited Christmas markets which were at a walking distance. The weather was chilly one day and warm next day. Staff was excellent. Got a Basel card which we used to travel in train and buses.

The floor in the room was squeaking very loud as you walk around. If thats fixed then the room, thou small is just enough for 2 people. Breakfast was all-right nothing great to write about.

Location, food was great, service was exceptional.

Breakfast should be longer 7-10.

The location was excellent,beside the Rhine and just 5 minutes walk to the old town. The staff were efficient,helpfull and friendly. Overall the hotel was very good for a three night stay.

The water in both the sink and shower was just about lukewarm. A minor thing.

first night had room with elevator shaft view which would have been ok had there was air conditioning in the room. can’t open a window and no air conditioner, room with no air, very little light, horrible experience. second night paid add 30 frank for better room but again no air conditioning and windows heading to noisy street but at least there was air !

The location is excellent for exploring the center Basel on foot. The building is a creatively renovated older building, attractively situated on the Rhine River.

The night entry system was confusing, and hard to find.

Close to the river but we didn't have a river view in the room.

The room didn't have any facilities. No boiler, no fridge, no snacks, no wardrobe only a few hangers. The breakfast was very basic. Super expensive for what you get.

Beautifful location. The building may be an old warehouse - the floor boards are about 45 cm wide and squeeky. Modern but cozy and at the same time humoristic interior, cool soft music in the breakfast restaurant & lounge, efficient outside restaurant with very nice pizzas, love the staff there. The bed linen and duvet were luxurious.

the shower was curiously cold, but in the warm weather this actually refreshing.

very simple breakfast but no toaster very surprising

the staff were helpful, the breakfast was good as was the location. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

There was no air conditioning although there was a pedestal fan. We were on the top floor in hot weather so the room was hot. The hotel is on a street with many bars and restaurants which is good for convenience but very noisy when we opened the windows to try to let some cool air into the room.

The location, windows looking over the Rhine, was perfect in terms of convenience. However, the surrounding area was very noisy late at night and I think. on balance, we wouldn't pick this location again.

Really enjoyed staying here! staff is so helpful and friendly. Amazing breakfast with fresh bread. River Rhine was flowing right next to the hotel so chilling by the bar, reading a book was the best thing to do. Also the hotel gave us Basel card which helped us get 50 percent discount on boat tour and free public transport for the length of our stay! So handy! Rooms are very clean and modern.
