The property itself was amazing. The building is over 130 years old but excellently maintained. As a boutique hotel it only accommodates up to 11 guests at a time, making it a very homely experience, which we loved. The staff were absolutely excellent, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. No request was too much, or too little. And we absolutely loved engaging with them. Situated near Nuwara Eliya it boasts some amazing views which we thoroughly enjoyed as we sat down for some tea (and it was some of the best tea we’ve had) or breakfast. As a small boutique hotel, food choices can be somewhat limited but their a’ la carte menu items, in our view, would meet most tastes. The food we ate was excellent quality with pastry items (bread, croissants, cakes etc.) made on the premises. These also were excellent.

If you stay during the wet season be prepared for the croaking of frogs overnight. The water pressure in the bathroom (showers etc.) varied at times and could be better.

Amazing location with beautiful views, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Dinner was delicious. Staff was lovely and very attentive. There is a nice little walk by the hotel in the middle of the tea plantations that the staff showed us. We even played mini golf in the middle of the tea fields, loved it!

There is a spa but unfortunately it’s extra so we didn’t get to try. Nothing bad to say about the hotel!

Perfect place to relax. Room is comfortable, food very good and staff friendly. Pool is warm so perfect for kids. The view from the hotel is amazing. Silence around is perfect to relax.

It’s 15/20 mins from Nuwara Eliya and 10 from Nanuoya

Although this hotel is located about 30 minutes outside of Nuwara Eliya town, the view from the hotel is 100% worth the drive. One of the only hotels in the area on a hill, nestled amongst tea fields, where you have a view of the tea covered hills below and the passing train on its way to Ella. Most other hotels are in town, set in the valley with not much of a view. The pool is incredible, amazing views as well and temperature controlled so even on a cloudy, chilly day we were able to swim comfortably.

The hotel is pretty expensive for what it is. Rooms are very basic, not much in the way of coffee and tea. You're pretty much paying for the view. The restaurant is also incredibly limited and almost zero vegetarian options. Expensive for the small portions. Recommend not eating at the hotel except for maybe breakfast and trying the other restaurants in town. There was also a hidden $100 fee they added to my bill, and charged my credit card without asking or telling you first, just asked you to sign. So if you're willing to pay for the view, go for it, otherwise too expensive.

Beautiful property in European style with wonderful surrounding tea estate which was open for the guests. The staff and level of service was outstanding so the great attention to detail.

I liked that you can play golf and tennis. There are a lot of flowers on the territory of the hotel. I received great service at dinner and breakfast. The staff was responsive to my requests.

This was an amazing place to stay , a lovely setting looking out over hills and tea plantations and great views. The location is not far from the station but a longer tuk tuk ride to the town. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly looking after us really well. The decor of rooms is homely and stylish, a bit of luxury in Nuwara Eliya. The food is very good too. There is a pool, putting and tennis if you have time to try them!

Very cute small designed hotel! Great location right on the tea plantation with fantastic view from the panoramic windows of the restaurant. Fantastic British design of the hotel - all hotel looks very modern and new. Fireplace in the room. Lovely atmosphere. Very friendly and welcomed stuff. Good and tasty restaurant. Amazing breakfast. We highly recommend it to all people visiting tea plantations near Nuwara Eliya and who is going to experience the train to Ella (railway station Nanuoya is located 10 min by car from the hotel).

This was an absolutely amazing hotel - in a beautifully scenic location, very cozy, decorated with taste and attention to every detail. The people who work in the hotel were beyond helpful - they went extra mile at every instance to make us feel at home, and cared after. It’s such a nice and charming little place. only a few rooms and really quite. just perfect for a few relaxing days.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!! The hotel is just wonderful, you feel like you enter a different time. The room was very pretty and cosy, they even put fresh flowers everywhere. The views and surroundings are great, you relax instantly. And not to forget the staff: They did everything they could to makes us feel welcomed and special, but always stayed in the background. Overall the best place we stayed at during our holidays in Sri Lanka. We strongly recommend it and would stay again!

I travel a lot for business to 5* hotels and I can say this is one of the hotels that made feel the best. Before arriving Pradeep contacted me via WhatsApp and helped me book a car and day trip (even with the current fuel shortage). When we arrived we were received by friendly stuff and management and all our stay was perfect. Even one day in the morning Pradeep took us on a hike to the tea plantations. He’s a great host. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with only 10-12 rooms and all of them are fantastic. Great location and weather, nice rooms with balcony and view. The swimming pool has very nice views and there is also a tennis lawn and mini golf. Feels very British. Our dinner there was wonderful and we ended up drinking champagne in the terrace. Finally it is very close to the train station of Nanu Oya and not too far from Nuwara Elya. 10/10

The only thing I recommend they could improve is the bathroom, it looks a bit old and could be a bit nicer. However everything worked perfectly and it was very clean.
