The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room had a working AC and a big shower.

The standard level of cleanliness should be reviewed. The bed sheets had a damp smell and the toilet seat should be replaced because it is yellow. The breakfast should be improved. It is very basic and, if you have children, they don't have milk. The major point is that, in a hotel, it is unacceptable to be served an open jar of butter that has already been used by other guests These should be points of improvement to increase the quality for the guests.

This is a proper hotel, we had a large nice and clean room just as we'd expect back in England. With a proper working shower. The only downside was it can be noisy, as they obviously don't need double glazing so the widows let in the City noise. Trucks and cars starting up and driving by and people talking and shouting in the street. None of this really bothered us as we were so tired after walking miles to see the sights. The hotel is well placed for the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which is a 15 to 20 minute walk. There are lots of restaurants in easy reach too. Nice to get a refreshing glass of juice on arrival

This is a small hotel in a side street away from busy street noise but surrounded by lots of shops and eateries. Excellent location. The room was simple and exceptionally clean. Fridge, coffee making facilities and tv. Everything I needed. Adequate breakfast. Staff were wonderful and helpful. And drop off at the railway station was included in the price. I made a good choice with this hotel and would certainly stay here again if I visited Kandy.

Our stay at the Ceyloni City Hotel was great. A good location. The staff was super friendly. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was super so nothing to complain.

The hotel located in the city, easy walking around to shopping, temple and the lake. The room and big with large bed and comfy. The staffs are helpful and friendly.

There are mosquitoes in the room

This is a basic hotel, no frills. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is close to the main attraction (the temple of the tooth and kandy lake). Hotel offers a free pickup or drop off to Kandy station which is a nice touch.

As a solo female traveller, I found the area at night to not feel very safe - after sunset, the shops close and there is barely any street lighting. If was also quite Noisy with all the traffic. No sound proofing in the room. the Flush in the toilet kept running out of water which was frustrating. They gave only 1 sheet in the room which can get quite cold with the AC. I had a horrible view of a concrete wall in front of my window. Overall, I’d recommend staying across the lake, in one of the hotels on the hills.

Cet hôtel situé à 10 mn en tuk tuk de la gare Railway Fort et de la gare routière est également bien placé pour aller visiter le plus vaste animé marché de Colombo. Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes. La literie est bonne. Les photos booking sont conformes à la réalitée. Personnel souriant et attentif. PDJ correct.
