Better cooking utensils, cold in winter, shower was pretty poor

We liked the lovely cabin which offered all we needed. The extras like the patios, the walk by the river, the peace and quiet and no hassle!! We are on a visit to my sister's at Bruny Island from UK but wanted to go to Strahan for the Gordon River cruise and it was perfect to stay with you to break our return journey. Thank you very much.

Each unit has plenty of room with separate toilet and bathroom. Lots of homely features.

Good location, very quiet. Close access to shops etc.
Not sure that the glass in bathroom window and front door provided privacy at night.

Very clean. Great facilities. Very comfortable. Great value for money. Great friendly staff.
We were recommended where to go in town for dinner and unfortunately that place was not very good at all.

The place was very quite and the cabin was clean .
The bed was quite comfortable we had a good sleep .
The cabins are really dated if you like the 60s this place is for you .The electrical chord for the electric blanket was in an unsafe condition .The shower is like something out of a workers camp with a shower curtain ,I wouldnt complain if the place was priced right but its priced far to high for what you get .The girl in the office was a lovley person and works hard to keep the place clean ..

Amazing place in Strahan, so close the the wharf and the river cruises, we had a cabin, felt like home, lots of space for everyone, stayed 2 nights, great place as a base if exploring the west coast, I would definitely stay again

Pam at Reception was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Quiet location not far from the waterfront. Mattresses were comfortable. Good bathtowels. Good size flatscreen TV. Round dining table. Sofa and lounge chair. IGA supermarket and petrol station a few minutes drive away. Air-conditioning worked well.
Kitchen and bathroom are retro, late 1950's or early 60's style. Prefer modern style but we got by alright.

Pam was so helpful and spent a lot of time discussing what to see around Strahan. We also needed to extend our stay and she went over and above to accommodate our request.

It was a nice place and had everything you need for a short stay.
The place was a bit dated and there was a bit of an odour, but not noticable after a while.

Property and furnishings very dated. Couch uncomfortable. Could use an update and refurbishment of kitchen and bathroom.
