The room was very attractive and had an excellent view over the harbour. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent and appeared to have been newly installed. The Wi-Fi in the room was very good. The price was reasonable for the quality of the room. All very clean.

The room was quite cold and we could not get it to warm up. The coal effect fire looked good but didn’t really give out much heat. There was no breakfast on the days we stayed but we used The Kitchen, a nearby restaurant, which is owned by the hotel. The food was very good and reasonably priced in here.

We were upgraded to a suite.king bed was supremely comfortable.spacious rooms. Good quality fittings and interior decorating. Good block out curtains.quiet. central location,no stairs.

In the village there is not much to do

The Village is located near the Strahan foreshore. The room we were allocated was well appointed and generally very comfortable, and is quiet at night. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful (a special mention to Alex).

The facility is obviously going through an upgrade, and given the relative absence of eateries in Strahan the provision of a microwave might have been helpful. The pillows were not as comfortable as they might have been. Ha

Excellent location, walking distance to food and river cruise boats.

It was a bit noisy and the flood lights were on all night, could be pointed down a bit more.

The View on the balcony of our room was great, very nice. The room was nice, but needed an update. Breakfast was quite nice and had not a bad selection. Pub and the restaurant, we went to was very lovely and food was fantastic.

The settie in the sitting room of our room was old and very saggy.

Loved Strahan Village, perfect location to relax & chill for a few days. So peaceful & beautiful scenery. Our terrace apartment was very spacious. Loved the outlook over the water. Plenty of facilities nearby.

The TV was often pixelated. Didn't have the full range of channels eg ABC or SBS.

Excellent very spacious room. Very well appointed and a fabulous view.

Beautiful view,beds were comfortable.

The whole place is in need of a refurbishment, fridge was leaking water and exhaust fan and air conditioning was noisy, the windows had cobwebs on them as well, couch was very uncomfortable and old. Rooms on the esplanade didn't have air conditioning just an old box fan.

Nothing to complain about at all. The receptionist was very helpful and arranged for us to dine at the buffet restaurant even though we arrived late. The room was nice, and I wish we had stayed there for a couple more days. The hotel is near the pier where cruises start, just a minute on foot.

We stayed in a harbour view room and it was a truly exceptional view - the room was huge, and very comfortable. The reception staff assisted with booking dinner and gave us information on local walks - very helpful and friendly. We also went on the heritage cruise of the Gordon River and thoroughly recommend!
