We were in the fabulous St John cottage which was within walking distance of the Esplanade and having an IGA across the road was an added bonus.

There was nothing not to like about this property and the extra facilities provided.

Kerrellie Cottages was the most authentic Tasmanian experience combined with the most incredible hospitality from the owners who live next door. We’ve never experienced such wonderful yet respectful hospitality. A once in a lifetime truly wonderful 6 nights. Just wish we lived closer to be able to make this a regular holiday destination. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone staying in Strahan. Perfectly located with IGA and chemist across the street and main township area an easy 5 min walk.

Nothing, it was just delightful!

Everything. Hosts were very welcoming, facilities were clean and comfortable. The cottage has absolute charm and has been furnished with love. This is the kind of place you just smile when you walk in to, and never want to leave. Bed was actually comfortable. The whole cottage is bigger than it looks in the photos, too. We've been on the road for the last month or so and this cottage is easily the highlight of our trip so far.

We had to leave! Could easily have stayed a few more days just to enjoy the cottage.

the perfect refurbished cottage

Location was a short walk from Strahan Wharf where there were restaurants and Gordon River Cruise departure. Supermarket across the road. The verandah was private and overlooked the garden where rabbits grazed. Stained glass windows were lovely.

Very friendly down to earth hosts, easy check in, comfortable and relaxing facilities, as advertised

Would have appreciated access to WiFi

The location was great as it was a very short stroll to town and across thew road from the IGA. The hosts are lovely people. Really like the fireplace.

It was a little dark inside but this is typical of this style/period of home.
