Friendly staff, lovely facilities and beautiful food

Good location and price. Comfortable bed.

Property was renovated in 2008 but now looking tired. Wallpaper peeling off all over the hotel. Bedroom carpet unsuitable for hotel use. Unlikely to be 5star as advertised. No phone in the room to contact reception. No lift and disabled access. Breakfast options are all individually priced so the normal all included breakfast offered elsewhere would turn out to about £20. Some dinner menu items rather mean portions for the price.

Told king size bed when it was a double

Size of bed, thickness of quilt, blackout blinds failure, lack of milk for tea

The room was clean and comfortable with a nice shower/bathroom

Little sleep because of typical Saturday evening street noise that went on until very late

Parking Burnt toast No fruit juice offered Luke warm breakfast items ( especially beans) Free milk in thermos flask went off every day . Suggest hotel takeaway old milk and replenish every day . Should not have to ask every day. Uninspiring outside area

the rooms were clean and spacious. the restaurant attached to the hotel offered a wide range of delicious food with generous proportions. the staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help

parking was a problem as the hotel was on a main road and there was only a council car park about 100 yards down the road. fortunately when we arrived the car park was free from 6 and for all of the Sunday. if we’d arrived earlier on another day we would have had to pay parking costs.

Great value breakfast and large room with friendly staff

Lovely building in the centre of Market Rasen. Extremely warm & welcoming staff who were very helpful.

On our day of staying they’d had heating problems that a Plummer was there fixing so it was a little cold but nothing major.
