Bed very comfortable. Carvery food was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend to friends.

Toilet paper is very thin.

The staff were pleasant

As soon as you enter the property there is an unpleasant smell, presumably drains or sewage, which was also very noticeable in our room. The lighting in the room was not adequate, one small spotlight in the entrance and a few wall lamps was not enough. It was like getting ready by candlelight. There was black mold in the shower, hardly surprising given there was no extractor fan and the toilet was stained. I would never stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable. My preference is a firm bed and this was one of the firmer ones I have experienced in hotels. Check in and out was very straight forward.

The door handle was a little funny. At one time I thought I was locked in.

On arrival, booking in process was not clear.Staff were not helpful and we were made to feel we were not important. After buying a second drink the bar member came up to us to say they were closing in 10mins (approx 9.30pm). The next morning at breakfast I only wanted cereal but was told I should have requested this the previous evening...totally unheard of to book a bowl of cold cereal this way. Would not recommend this place to family or friends.
