Location and breakfast are good. Room is clean with sufficient amenities.

Staffs at the front desk did not speak English well. So I felt a bit tired in communicating with them. The lady who handled our late check-out in the evening of 21/10 was not helpful. When I asked for receipt of my earlier stay during 15-16/10, she responded with rough and loud voice that I should not ask for it as the office already closed. I felt bad with this lady’s behavior with no service mind.

Houve um evento de 3 dias e o salão de café da manhã ficou 80% interditado. Não colocaram mesas nos locais restantes possíveis, ou em outros locais, entao ficamos todos amontoados durante o café da manhã, sem mesas suficientes. Como ficamos 2 semanas e a trabalho, foi um desconforto que poderia ter sido evitado. Ainda assim, ficaria neste hotel novamente.

Location was perfect. It's near hotel kazakhstan and dostky ave. A lot of money changers and food places around. Room was comfortable and it had an attached bathroom. The receptionist Makhabbat was very welcoming and speaks English. She was very helpful in anything I need and arranged for me the sauna too. Breakfast was a good buffet style. Wifi was working well

Hot water at night is too hot and can't be adjusted so just have to be careful. An extra pillow in a single room would be helpful. A bit of variety in breakfast would be good. I asked for an airport pick up and messaged twice for confirmation but didn't get a reply and no car was sent. It's cheaper if you take a taxi from the airport using yandex.

The Breakfast was pretty good. Friendly staff, It was a great location for me they also have a cable cars that went to the top of the mountain to view. Also close to the main bus line. Plenty of places to go and see.

Did not vacuum the room carpet daily as i would like.

I like this place, and it's my second visit to Alma. 'cause of location: if I need to visit Almaty Center (esp. Golden Square), I find this place quite good to stay for a weekend or saturday night. And yeah: breakfasts are on the 5th floor again! See photos.

Breakfast is very poor. I was surprised. when I saw the plate served by the hotel staff, I think it’s a kind of joking. Water leak in the bathroom, though it’s not serious level.

The only good thing is the location. Everything else was terrible.

First, I will tell you a few things that are different from the description: the room does not have a minibar, the refrigerator does not work, the air conditioner does not work, the safe does not work (it is in the closet, but it is not fixed and can be removed), the sound insulation is very bad (according at night I was woken up by noise from the corridor and from other rooms), when there is but not a plug, so it cannot be used for bathing, the television is there, but it does not work (it just says that there is no signal), breakfast is poor (they bring you a plate with one egg and half of a sausage, and half of a toast - every day the same). Also, the room is in much worse condition than shown in the pictures, there is a lot of dust under the bed, the toilet and taps are full of limescale, the bed is in bad condition. But the biggest problem is the following: On the penultimate day when I returned to the room, I noticed that I was missing the bag with things that was standing next to the desk. I went to report it to the reception and that's when the search began. After about 20 minutes, the receptionist told me that the cleaning lady took and threw away the bag, so now they are looking for it in the trash. I really don't understand how this is allowed in a hotel like this! It was a new bag containing new things: a portable battery, a USB memory stick, a pen, a pad, materials and documents, certain things from the store (pastries, pudding, juice)... The cleaning lady supposedly thought it was garbage. The explanation is very strange because the trash can is in the bathroom and this was in the room and everything was neatly put away. In the end, I personally went to the garbage to look for it. We managed to find some things and some not. However, everything was wet and dirty, so I didn't even take most of the things. I found the battery, I didn't find the USB, and I saw the documents, but since they were wet, dirty and torn, I couldn't take...
